This was our first trip to Deep Creek Lake, and Sunrise Cove was a wonderful home base for our stay. It is a beautiful part of Maryland to explore. The house was clean, spacious, and very comfortable for our family. We especially loved the open living area—perfect for movie nights and board games—and the well-equipped kitchen made it easy to prepare meals. The hot tub was a big hit and got plenty of use every day!One thing to note is that the home is located on a busy road, which made taking walks from the property difficult and unsafe. We had hoped to take walks directly from the house, but instead had to drive to nearby trails and attractions. We also didn’t realize that access to the lake would require driving, as the access points across the street and closest to the house are privately owned.That said, we had a great stay overall and really enjoyed our time at Sunrise Cove. If you're planning to explore the area by car, this is a great spot to come home to at the end of each day.

The unique layout was perfect for my 8-person family. Plenty of room and privacy, great view, and I loved that each bedroom had their down bathroom. Gorgeous view of the lake! The only reason I gave it four stars instead of five is because the WiFi was terrible. Really terrible. We restarted the router at least 8 times during our 3 night stay.
