You can go directly to the water from your door with no road between. Lake Front does not necessarily mean you have a view of the water, since much of our shoreline is wooded.

    Ski Area homes and units are within a 1mi driving distance to Wisp Resort Ticket Window and/or Lift Access. Ski Area homes may require you to drive a very short distance and/or cross a road by foot. Some homes under Lake Front, Lake Access or Lake Area may also be considered a Ski Area property.

Quiet Retreat is the perfect four-season getaway. This exquisite waterfront chalet provides a spectacular lake panorama and a spacious 3,200 sq ft interior. The three-level home is located close to a wide variety of activities to enjoy no matter what the season. In the winter, the Wisp Resort ski slopes are just a hop, skip and jump away. In the summer spend your days on the lake, or drive a short distance to golfing, white water rafting, and an array of other local attractions. Upon entering the home, you are greeted with plush furnishings, cathedral ceilings paired with floor to ceiling windows, and a stunning floor to ceiling fireplace. Gather in the lower-level rec room and enjoy time around the billiard and foosball tables in front of another beautiful fireplace. Four bedrooms including two large private suites ensure that everyone has plenty of space to spread out and enjoy their privacy. The outside spaces are just as grand. The expansive main level deck is perfect for taking in the view and the fresh mountain/lake air all year round. The lower patio offers more space to spread out or come together including a large secluded hot tub. We had an amazing weekend at Quiet Retreat! Plenty of space for us with all of the amenities we could need…and the views were incomparable! Conveniently located- just a quick 10 minute drive to go out to dinner at a local (delicious) restaurant! Whether you’re hosting a family/friends dinner around the large dining table in the kitchen or enjoying your morning coffee with a view- you you can’t go wrong with this rental! We hope to be back!

I can't say enough good things about this perfect and spacious home. The home is comfortable, very spacious, and in a wonderful location. The creekfront property allowed us to have the most beautiful views of the creek which you can soak up from the couch, the deck, or the hot tub! The beds were very comfortable and the amenities were fantastic. It was the perfect location to get away with friends and I'm eager to come back with my family as the house set-up is very family friendly. It was a wonderful home away from home which we look forward to renting again.

Quiet Retreat is ideally located near daily conveniences. The home has (in the summer) enough tree growth for privacy from the neighbors. The walk to the pier is paved and not too bad a slope for this old gal. At move in we had few minor requests which were tended to right away. The furnishings are upscale, the kitchen is nicely stocked. (Bring a sharp knife from home) I look forward to visiting this home again soon.

Great place, easy access to everything. plenty of room for everybody. very easy paved walkway to lake, and great dock. Would be my first choice to rent again!

Quiet Retreat is a wonderful house. The yard has lots of trees and is very shady. I think this will be a big plus during the hot summer days. On sunny days, we enjoyed the deck, hot tub, dock, kayaking & sitting out by the water. On the rainy days, we enjoyed the big coffee table for playing board games and the pool table. I wish we had brought a AUX cable to plug our phones into the stereo behind the bar. There is a fair amount of motor boat traffic going by the house. There are 2 marinas across the water. However, we did manage to get in a fair amount of kayaking (when the weather permitted). As with any 3 level house, we had trouble not freezing the people in the basement and keeping the upstairs people cool. A fan in the upstairs bedroom would have helped equalize the temperature difference. There are clocks near every bed that provide outlets & USB ports, which are a very nice addition. It was even better once we realized we could dim the clock part “off” so they didn’t shine so brightly at night. The walk from the house to the water was not too difficult for my 80 year old father. He enjoyed walking out and sitting by the water. Shout out to the Railey IT staff. Our internet & cable went down the second day. They came out promptly and provided us with a mobile hotspot. It took them a couple of days to resolve (because they had to have Xfinity come out), but they were very helpful and responsive.
