Wonderful Deep Creek Lake log home nestled among a wooded lot along Marsh Hill Road. Step inside this charming cabin to find yourself right at home here at Deep Creek Lake. The plush furnishings and recent updates welcome the whole family to give you the getaway you have been waiting for. Located along Marsh Hill Road, you will find yourself just minutes from Wisp Resort, as well as favorite restaurants, shops, and activities for the whole family.

This home comes with free access to the Community Aquatic Recreation Center (CARC)! This fitness and wellness complex, located in the central Deep Creek Lake area, offers a modern gym and a full-size indoor pool. The free CARC membership is available to all guests in the home for the duration of your stay, up to the home’s full occupancy.

Wonderful home to stay in over our vacation the hot tub was great to relax in. The lake being so close was nice. Being able to fish and swim off the dock that is right across the street. The beds were comfortable and all of the appliances except for the washer and dryer work. Called maintenance 2 times about the washer and dryer not working. Maintenance never fixed them. That was disappointing because this was the 2nd leg of our trip and desperately needed to do laundry. The local trash company never fully emptied the trash bin at the end of the driveway so there was only ever room in the bin for 1 bag of trash. I don't think this is Railey's fault but the city should do better with this. Overall. The stay was great and would love to come back again.

This house was just as pictured and described. We had 10 people for our family vacation, and there was enough space for all of us. The kitchen was fully stocked, including a crock pot, large baking pans/dishes, and grill tools. There was also a drip coffee pot and a Keurig. We enjoyed playing pool downstairs, sitting in the hot tub, having a campfire (we brought our own firewood), hanging out on the large covered deck, and playing in the big driveway. We had a 2.5 yo, 6 yo, and 11 yo, and they all had a great time. We brought bubbles, books, mud kitchen toys, and other children’s toys. We had planned to spend most of our time a the beach on the lake, but we learned that there’s only one small beach area in Deep Creek Lake State Park, which is a 20 minute drive from the house, and it costs $5 per person to get into the park. We had a small maintenance issue with the front door, but emergency maintenance resolved it within a couple hours. We saw a black bear!! It was awesome!

This house was ok. The water didn’t get very hot in the shower. The living room furniture needs updating. The game room needs a TV. It was chilly in the game room even with the heat on. However, the kitchen had all the necessities. The fire pit, fireplace and jacuzzi were fine. The comforters in the main bedroom and the second floor needs updated bedding. All in all, it was a good stay.

My stay at the Nik-n-Hawk Lodge was great. My only complaint is, upon my arrival, the master bedroom had a sofa with a burgundy sofa cover that was so filthy and disgusting with huge stains like it hasn't been washed ever. The master bedroom toilet was broken and hasn't been fixed since the prior visitors stay because they wrote in the book a week prior that the toilet was broken. I sent an email about the toilet and no one came to fix it. The spare pillows were disgustingly stained and needs to be thrown in the trash. The DVD player was disconnected with no wires. Overall it was a great stay, and we enjoyed ourselves.

We were thrilled to be able to be together and enjoyed the time there. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable. The living area was a bit crowded but we spent most of our time outside anyway. The kitchen was a little tight for all of us but it worked fine. The experience didn’t start great as the remote code wouldn’t work. When I called, the representative unlocked the door for us. Apparently, the battery needed to be changed. Service was called and once he arrives, he quickly replaced it and reset the code.

Lodge was awesome. 5 minute drive to the Mountain, grocery stores, etc. But secluded enough to feel like you were alone in the woods. Great living area and the bedrooms were very comfortable.
