Lake access and dock slip located along Marsh Hill Rd, across from the property, "Dreamers Overlook." Please note that docks are only guaranteed from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Please note that there is no direct parking area by the lake access point and the driveway is very steep, so the walk up/down may be difficult for some.

It just occurred to me that I never sent a review out after our fabulous weekend at Angels Landing at Deepcreek Lake.Have you ever thought of preparing a full Thanksgiving Dinner away from home? It wouldn't have been possible had it not been for the fabulous Kitchen at Angels Landing. The kitchen was bright, modern, and extremely well equipped!!!! There were 10 of us - and the beautiful dining table was perfect and spacious for us all.When you consider 10 people gathered at once - for 4 days - Angels Landing was perfect!!!! it is spacious - bedrooms were wonderful! and it was hard to believe there were 10 of us there. The downstairs provides games and activities so the 5 children were happy together and kept busy. The adults could be upstairs with the beautiful views from every room. I was fortunate to have a large bedroom/suite for myself as well as an exceptional bathroom - large, bright, modern - even a sitting area for hair/makeup.And to top it off - there is a fabulous hot tub on the deck - such fun for this grandmother to be in the hot tub at night with my grandchildren.I can't say enough positive things about this fabulous home/resort - away from home, except that I hope to be able to go again!!!We did not ski while we were there - but for all of you skiers - it's very close proximity to the skiing areas!!!!!On a scale of 1-10, Angles Landing is a 10+++++++++++++.

Angel’s Landing was the perfect spot for our family. The house was so relaxing with an amazing view. The whole family loved playing games on the large table and the little ones had the best time playing hide and seek. It was the perfect getaway for all of us.

I was Leary about staying based on the reviews. However once we arrived and explored around the house you can tell the owners took the reviews to heart. No central AC. Room air conditioners were faulty. Main room g0t too hot. Cupboards a little dirty. Inadequate cookware. Great view! Nice hot tub!

As my family has a personal interest in this home, we immediately addressed all the concerns and advice that we read in the reviews, and we would love to reassure all our future of all of our efforts: new pots and pans, replacement of utensils, and dishes, and cleaning of all the kitchen cupboards, new wall-mounted air conditioning and heating county maintenance increasing water pressure as well as new state of art showerheads being installed, and a revised maintenance contract with our rental agent for the roads have all been addressed. Above and beyond, we have added outdoor lightning around the hot tub that creates a festive ambiance and we have ordered new sofas for the lower level, added a new state of the art sink in the kitchen and laid new rugs. We will continue to always update our home to meet anyone’s expectations and are truly hopeful that these amenities and improvements meet your visitors expectations in the future. But I promise we will always welcome your advice. The view at Angels Landing is stunning. It cannot be replicated. (And you’ll never find a better house to play Hide and seek). Stayed here in July 2022

We stayed here in July 2022. The house is nice and in a good location with an amazing view. However, there are a few reasons I would never stay here again. The basement is musty and the toilet did not flush properly. There was no water pressure in any of the showers( the sink in the loft could not be on if you wanted to shower) . The dock was very difficult to get to- especially if you had towels/ coolers. We ended up renting a dock at an offsite location and driving there. If a little maintenance was done on the property it could really be nice ( aside from the dock situation)

Hi Heidi! On behalf of the homeowners we wanted to reach out and let you know that there have been several upgrades made throughout the home. The pots, pans, dishes, and glasses have all been replaced to updated cookware, as well as a deep clean throughout the cupboards, and cabinets. They have also upgraded their heating/ac units to the Mitsubishi type wall units and are working along side the city to fix the water pressure issues. Overall our stay at Angels Landing was ok. There were some issues that would prevent us from staying at this property in the future. The basement was musty and the toilet down there would not flush properly. The water pressure for showers was horrible. In the upstairs bathroom the shower would not turn on if the sink was running. The cleanliness was good and their were adequate supplies in the kitchen. Make sure to bring extra paper towels and toilet paper as well as hand soap for the bathrooms. With a little work this property has the potential to be very good. As far as the dock, the steps were so steep making it too difficult to walk from the unit and carry supplies to the boat. We ended up renting a dock that was more convenient that we could drive to and park.

Horrible driveways in the winter

The house was ok but it was the driveway that ruined our experience. Our first night it was snowing and none of our 4WD made it up the entrance of the driveway that led up to our house’s driveway. We had to walk up two driveways back and forth to bring up our belongings. Took a good two hours of walking up and down the two steep hills in the snow. We all slipped and fell many times which could of resulted in serious injuries. We called to see if we could get a plow truck but they said he won’t be able to make it till morning. They even said that the house next door had already called about the issue and to find parking by the main road. In the description it said that you would need 4WD or AWD, does not matter if there’s snow you won’t make it up during the winter. We didn’t get our cars up until the last night and one car, the morning of checkout. Avoid at all cost during the winter unless you want trek two steep hills covered in ice and snow.

We loved our stay at Angel’s Landing. We came here after having to cancel a family trip due to COVID. The views of the lake are breathtaking, and there are many comfortable places in the house to sit, read, nap, eat, chat. The hot tub was a perfect way to end a day after some hiking in the nearby parks. Will definitely return.

Don't plan on a functional kitchen

The kitchen utensils were old and many were broken. There was hardly any bowls. The knives were dull. The pots and pans were in terrible condition. I could not use them. I actually spent over $100 in pots, pats, etc so I could cook. The oven temperature was off. Things took 1.5 times to cook.

Great View!!

The view at this house is amazing and the house is really nice and clean as well. The downside is the driveway is really steep. We had 3 inches of snow when we were there and going down the driveway was scary. We have an F150 and definitely needed 4-wheel drive. This is also a dog-friendly house which is great but with being up on a hill there isn’t any where nice around the house to walk. My dog was older so doing steps were hard for her.

Angels landing was a very spacious home with great views. Loved the small office in the master bedroom! It felt super private but not far from anything. Would def rent again!

Really nice place and the views are stunning. We had planned for this to be a winter vacation but bc of the pandemic we moved it to the summer. We were glad we did- we swam at Deep Creek State Park, played at Funland right up the road and canoed in the lake. The hot tub was clean and a perfect way to end the night and the house was lovely for our big family to sit together comfortably at dinner and watching a movie. (Reviewed on Airbnb)

Way more good than bad

Location is excellent, lots of space and beds, view is unbeatable. The dock slip isn’t labeled and no one was able to clarify where we we’re supposed to dock our boat (although they were very friendly and gave an option). All the hand soap was empty and the water pressure in the showers was really poor. We’ll be back because the goods outweigh the bads but bads exist.

I would but it is a shame that this home in such a beautiful area with such a great view gets poor scores in things so easily improved. A little TLC and this would have been 4 and 5s across the board.

Amazing view

The house was so nice and spacious. The view was spectacular, however the bathrooms could be updated. The water pressure wasn’t the greatest and there was not enough hot water in some bathrooms to shower. Overall we had an amazing time and I would suggest to bring your own pots and pans if you decide to cook because the ones there are pretty old.

Lovely home atop the hill overlooking the beautiful lake. Everything was as described. 7 minute drive to the mountain. Needing 4wd to get up the driveway was no joke, especially considering it snowed all weekend. BUT there was a crew there the day after it snowed salting and shoveling the private driveway which was great. Lots of firewood provided for the two fireplaces. Hot tub was drained the day we got there so it took 24 hours to heat up but after that it worked perfectly. We really enjoyed ourselves and would stay here again for sure! (Reviewed on Airbnb)

My husband and I were not able to come. My children were hesitant to go but would not like to waste the money I had already paid in full so they went ahead even without us. I am glad they did and so were they! They stayed 3 nights. The house amenities, facilities, and accommodations were great. They especially were grateful the hot tub was already prepared for them! And the view from the tub of the lake, was beautiful. My children plan to bring us there someday too.

Angel's Landing

House is nice but in need of TLC and a few upgrades. Loft bedroom ceiling fan did not work, hot tub kept tripping circuit breaker, refrigerator took 3 days to keep food cold, left front burner does not turn off (dangerous) have to fiddle with knob to get it to turn off. Several chairs on all levels not safe to sit on, screen doors difficult to shut and most of the screens are torn or have holes. Shower behind kitchen the hot and cold water are reverse from the handle marking. Best thing about the house is the awesome view!!!

Great views of the lake. The dock is only a 10 minute walk from the house. The master bedroom was beautiful with amazing views. The house is very spacious and great for a group. (Reviewed on Airbnb)

We truly enjoyed our stay. The house was decorated for Christmas beautifully, and the snow just added to the season! Only downside, is that driveway is very steep, but snow removal was very timely. Small shopping area at the bottom of the hill had everything we needed!

Our first visit to Deep Creek gave us the heavenly view down the lake from Angels Landing - and the perfect house design for our seven family members. The only problem - climbing the driveway to the house - steepest we have ever driven! And the first snow of the season for us - just beautiful!
