  2. Ski Area
    Ski Area homes and units are within a 1mi driving distance to Wisp Resort Ticket Window and/or Lift Access. Ski Area homes may require you to drive a very short distance and/or cross a road by foot. Some homes under Lake Front, Lake Access or Lake Area may also be considered a Ski Area property.

This home is located in the Highland Adventures Community at Deep Creek Lake.

This home comes with free access to the Community Aquatic Recreation Center (CARC)! This fitness and wellness complex, located in the central Deep Creek Lake area, offers a modern gym and a full-size indoor pool. The free CARC membership is available to all guests in the home for the duration of your stay, up to the home’s full occupancy.

Great house, great location, great amenities. The houses location is perfect. It is a 1 minute drive to the top of the slope (some of our group even walked one day). The house was very clean and has a great layout for multiple families of all ages. We would absolutely stay at this property again (any season in this home would be great with all of the amenities offered) Our 4 family group originally booked our Feb trip in late fall. Unfortunately, the house we originally booked was for sale and sold. Railey Vacations promptly notified us and the team worked hard to find us many other properties that would work for our group. After reviewing all of the options, we landed on Winter Iris and it was great! Their customer service through the entire process was exemplary. Thank you Railey Vacations Team for your dedication to provide great customer service.

4 families for skiing--everyone was impressed and extremely happy with the home! We had 8 adults and 8 children and the house worked out fantastic! Plus no one complained about the beds! We've stayed at a number of rentals in the area before and this one was by far the biggest crowd pleaser. New, spacious, and every bedroom has its own bath--it's a home designed for rentals. We look forward to staying at Winter Iris again!

The house was great, I would definitely rent it again. But the hot tub guy showed up after we checked in to clean the hot tub. In doing so, he had to empty all the water and refill. The water wasn't up to temp until the next morning. WE lost a whole night of being in the hot tub, 6 very angry grandchildren. Also, the breaker for the kitchen counter kept tripping off with just a toaster and the griddle plugged in.

We will have our maintenance department asses the kitchen breaker to ensure that it is working properly for future stays. Although we do our absolute best to maintain a cohesive, and regular maintenance schedule for our hot tubs sometimes we do have mishaps resulting in delayed service and we sincerely apologzie. Fantastic home a short walk from the whitewater corse at Wisp. Our family loved the open floor plan and the big space on the upper level. It allowed for board games to be played while others talked or watched TV. Family dinners all around the same table were another highlight. Shopping and groceries are only a few minutes away. We’d all be very happy to stay at Winter Iris again!

VERY NICE NEW HOME. VERY CLEAN AND SPACIOUS. However, home needs major outdoor furniture upgrade (very cheap looking and not sturdy if you are over 150 pounds)! This matters when you have all adults on deck. After staying in a different home in the area, it's obvious the outdoor furniture was a rush job/quick fix to make it ready for the very first guests due to scheduling. Also, although we had electrical/power outage issues on day one, the stay was still awesome. The issue was addressed and resolved almost immediately. We also weren't told that the lake would be completely empty! Fortunately, as always there are several other things to do. Looking forward to another stay regardless. Special thanks to Michelle in guest services (I hope that was her name). I left my wallet and some cash behind and she made time to personally retrieve my items and sent them in the mail so we wouldn't have to come all the way back up to get it!!!! GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. THANK YOU!!!
