Tolson Cabin is a treat! Experience the best of lake life from this charming two bedroom log cabin. Inside this home, you’ll find a delightful medley of modern amenities, upscale décor, and rustic stylings for an interior that is bursting with comfort. With rich wood walls and native stone fireplace, this home was crafted with a vintage charm to make you feel right at home from the moment you arrive. Enjoy morning coffee from your screened-in porch, the light of day unfolding gracefully around you, or start the morning off with a quick simmer in the outdoor hot tub. Day or night, the lake is always before you! Behold the view, sunbathe on the dock, or swim in tranquil waters: there are so many ways to enjoy the lakefront! Plus, as an added bonus, the popular Ace’s Run restaurant is just a short walk away. Located in the heart of Deep Creek, Tolson Cabin is close to it all for an intimate retreat any time of year!

Was a very nice peacefull get away to a sandy beach with cabin. Weather was nice. Did not have the long drive to Ocean City and the crowds. Sherry really liked the push button propane fireplace. Been in over a dozen countries but never in a cabin with a sandy beach. Was relaxing to finally get away after a long year.

Honestly, the only negative about this time is the road noise from Garrett Highway, but we knew that would be the case. A quick walk to Firewater and Acers through the woods. Great location as it is near everything. Our two labs loved swimming from the beach and having sniffing adventures around the property. We enjoyed sitting on the screened in porch while it rained one evening. The kitchen was well stocked minus a true baking sheet. The house was clean and welcoming. The king bed was very firm. It was nice going down to the pier to jump on the boat when we wanted. There was only one night that we heard people clearly from the Firewater. Sometimes we could hear that there were live bands over at the Honi Honi but it did not disrupt our activities. Loved the fire pit! We were even able to use the fireplace one evening during the last week of June. We would definitely stay here again.

Tolson Cabin is so warm and cozy with all the amenities! I love that it's so tucked away and the lakefront is like a beach. There's a short path that leads right to Firewater and Ace's. It's a romantic getaway.

This cabin was a great stay. It’s not quiet at all- the Highway noise is significant and the live bands at nearby restaurants were pretty loud, so not a great place if you’re looking for peace and quiet. But the property is amazing and it provided a gorgeous view of the sunrises! We loved the fall views, but I bet this property is even more fun in the summer with the private beach and dock! Had a wonderful time!

My husband and i have rented many different places in Deep Creek over the years, and Tolson Cabin was by far the best. We loved having a private beach and loved the sun porch. It is great for dogs too. Our Oliver had a blast swimming in the lake and chasing the ducks around.

The Tolson Cabin is a great little place to getaway for a weekend at the Lake. The cabin is cozy and comes with the basics of what you'd need for a shorter stay. The gas fireplace was warm on chilly December nights. Everything functioned in the kitchen as needed (did not use the W/D.) The cabin is right off Garrett Hwy, so you will hear some truck/car noise. It is also next to a restaurant, which does keep outdoor lights on most of the night (presumably to deter bears.) There aren't any curtains in the main spaces (living room, kitchen, dining room) which lets in lovely natural light during the day, but can be off-putting for privacy during the evening.

As always, property was exactly as advertised and sparkling clean when we got there. Easy check-in and check-out. I always love that a goodie bag of sundries (toilet paper, dish soap, etc.) Is waiting in the kitchen when we get there. This is my 6th time renting from Railey and it definitely won't be my last...I already booked for next year!!!

Just got back from spending an awesome week at the Tolson Cabin. The cabin is in a perfect location. The private beach and dock are a great addition; we spent much of our time during the day swimming, jumping off the dock, and just chilling on the beach. The hot tub was great for early morning and evening relaxing. I was a little worried about the cabin not having air conditioning, but it was not a problem at all. There are ceiling fans in all the rooms and 2 additional stand up fans in the living room area. We also brought fans from home and put them in the bedroom windows. The cabin is nestled in the trees and doesn't get much sunlight, so with that and all the fans we had it actually got a little chilly at night. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely rent the Tolson Cabin again!

House was amazing, great cabin feel to it. Easy to find and easily accessible also the private little beach and hot tub really added to the overall stay. Would definitely recommend it and would stay again.

The Tolson Cabin was a quaint, rustic cabin with modern conveniences. The property was clean and decorated in a lodge-style. The hot tub, fire ring, and private dock were perfectly placed. Although the lot is close to the road, the cabin is positioned in a wooded perimeter that provides privacy. I highly recommend this property. Next time we visit, we'll bring our dog.

Tolson cabin was great! It was easy weekend getaway! We basically started our lakeside weekend getaway as soon as we pulled up and parked. It was awesome! Our kiddos loved playing on the mini baby beach, fishing off the pier and wading in the clear cool water. The cabin was clean and had cable tv w DCD player in each room. The kitchen was well set up and bathroom towels were ready for use. There was a awesome fire pit between the house and the beach that we used for evening s’mores. The gas fireplace and operable windows were nice touches to help warm and cool the cabin. We went in mid April and there were no mosquitos. . If you want an authentic rustic weekend get away at the lake this is your place!

It was so cute, comfortable and nicely decorated. Being right on Garrett Hwy isn’t the most ideal, but the cabin is set-back off of the road and has an awesome beach! We will rent this cabin again!

This was our second time staying at Tolson Cabin and it was just as incredible as the first. Beautifully restored cabin with a clean modern feel. The beach is fantastic as is the fireplace and fire pit. It is the perfect place to relax and bring life back to reality. Perfect for our small family including our four legged angels. We will be back!
