DESCRIPTION:
Take a breath of fresh mountain air and unwind in the comfort of Tipsy Timber Lodge. With plush furnishings, toasty fireplaces, and warm wood accents all around, you’ll feel right at peace in this log-style home. Enjoy your morning coffee on the deck while taking in the sunrise, lounge out in the lower den watching movies and playing a game of ping pong, and then round out the day with s’mores and stories around the campfire. Located in the Pinnacle Community, you’ll be in the heart of all the Deep Creek Lake fun. Just minutes from Deep Creek Lake State Park, local shops and restaurants, and a short drive from the four season Wisp Resort, there is adventure around every corner.

Lake access and dock slip located across Glendale Road from The Pinnacle entrance. Please note that docks are only guaranteed from Memorial Day through Labor Day.

This home comes with free access to the Community Aquatic Recreation Center (CARC)! This fitness and wellness complex, located in the central Deep Creek Lake area, offers a modern gym and a full-size indoor pool. The free CARC membership is available to all guests in the home for the duration of your stay, up to the home’s full occupancy.

This house could not have been more perfect for our snow tubing weekend! The location is great for getting around to all the lake area destinations. (Silver tree, wisp etc)

We stayed here recently with two other families, total of 5 adults and 6 kids. Was a great spot to relax and access Wisp resort. About 10 minutes to the mountain. Great woodsy atmosphere and beautiful home. Everyone enjoyed their stay. A few notes to owners - the "iron" in the hot tub was a bit gross ... brown water and film. The kids went in but the adults were not into it. Most mattresses were fairly hard and not very comfortable for sleep. The downstairs bedrooms were fairly cold, however use of the provided space heaters did help! Would stay here again but property would be even better with resolution of the two notes above. Thank you for renting out your beautiful home!

I'm sorry to hear about the two aspects of your stay that didn't meet expectations - we've shared your concerns regarding the hot tub with our maintenance team and will have this addressed as soon as possible. We've also relayed your suggestions for the mattresses to the homeowner. Tipsy Tavern was perfect for our Christmas weekend getaway. Plenty of room for 6 kids and 7 adults- with an extra bed to spare. Large bedrooms! Loved having separate bathrooms for each bedroom. Location and view were amazing! Kids and adults loved the ping pong table and plenty of games provided. Very well stocked kitchen and well maintained home. Would definitely stay again- thanks for providing such a great gathering spot!

We had a wonderfully peaceful stay at the Tipsy Timber Lodge. The community was quiet and well laid out. The Fall season granted us beautiful views of the color-changing leaves right from the comfort of the home.

We spent a week in June 2021 at Tipsy Timber and had a great time. We were six adults and two grandchildren. We had lots of room, enjoyed the location, used the barbecue and fire pit. The wifi worked well--four of us had Zoom and Teams meetings while there. All in all a great place for a family

We had a wonderful winter family getaway at Tipsy Timber Lodge. The home is incredibly comfortable and stylish. This house appeals to adults and children alike. It is roomy and the owners have thought of everything. Great location, lots of fun to be had in the snow.
