This home comes with free access to the Community Aquatic Recreation Center (CARC)! This fitness and wellness complex, located in the central Deep Creek Lake area, offers a modern gym and a full-size indoor pool. The free CARC membership is available to all guests in the home for the duration of your stay, up to the home’s full occupancy.

We loved our stay in Tamaqua Lodge! We went in the Fall. The house is unbelievably cozy, comfortable and well-stocked. You really cannot beat the view and the proximity to the best things the area has to offer. We hope to come back soon.

Loved the large three level home. Great for a big family with a newborn with plenty of room. Lots of table space for games and puzzles. Hot tub was fun in the afternoon. Close to the state park.

The house suited our family. We had room to spread out and we loved the lakefront location. The private dock was a plus, we docked our rental boat there as well as swam of the dock.

It was a beautiful and well stocked for cooking a large thanksgiving meal. The only complaint is that the beds are very uncomfortable. I actually woke up often during the night because I hurt from being on such a hard bed and the pillows weren’t very good either.

We had the best time at this property! We comfortably fit 5 families for a long weekend with plenty of space to spread out as needed. We loved the hot tub, fire pit and just lounging in the lake. I definitely recommend the Lodge!

Beautifully designed home, taking full advantage of the location and views. Spacious enough to make our 12-person extended family all feel like we had plenty of room. Beautiful landscaping, best fire pit we've seen in our years of vacation rentals. Very prompt and responsive to fix items--arrived within 24 hours, even fixed something we hadn't included in our list.

The home itself was nice, just little convenient things would go a long way. Hooks on the back of bedroom and bathroom doors, towel rack in the small bathroom, screens on the doors need to be fixed, ceiling fan in the upstairs bedroom, which is the warmest room doesn’t work. Garbage can is broken. The view would be an easy fix. Ceiling above lower deck would have helped us a lot. We had 7 days of rain.

We enjoy our week. As previous reviews there are items that need to be addressed but they’re all small issues. The disappointment is that the issues were brought up almost a year ago and they were not addressed. The screens on the doors exiting to the decks need to be fixed or replaced. The chairs on the deck are definitely worn out. We were concerned about the two cupboards in the kitchen because they wobbled and we’re not sure how secure they are with children. I’m on the fence about staying in a house on the main lake due to all the boats but the kids really enjoyed the waves. I would consider staying at this house again with family but not with just my husband and myself.

Other than the things mentioned in this review, our stay was not unpleasant. A family get together is always fun and we much enjoyed our hikes in state parks there But very high boat traffic causing unusable floating docks (like being on rough seas) will keep us away in the future.

The house was perfect for our group. We had so much fun playing on the dock, swimming, we even rented a trampoline from a near by rental spot, and they too were awesome! The fire pit and hot tub were perfect for the chilly nights and mornings. The kitchen tables fit us all perfectly! We had so much fun and plan to make this a yearly gathering. The cabin is beautiful. My family especially enjoyed the dock and fire ring. The kitchen was well stocked. We enjoyed most all of our meals from the comfort of the cabin given the COVID outbreak. My only suggestion for improvement would be replacing mattresses on the beds on main level. Thank you for a memorable stay. Tracy H., Cambridge, OH

We could not have had a better stay - my entire group spent the entire weekend complimenting me on the great find. The lodge itself was warm and inviting - the back yard fire pit and hot tub only steps away from the lake were perfect - most bedrooms had attached bathrooms or their own bathroom right next door. The mattress toppers on most beds were great, a bit firm, but that’s exactly what I like. One guest stayed on the pull out sofa and he loved the view from the sofa in the loft of the lake - not a bad trade off if you’re the one stuck sleeping on the couch! All the staff members were amazing, easy to reach if we had any questions, and made check in and out a breeze. We had 4 couples and 5 single individuals and the space was perfect (they made sure we picked the right house)! We needed the hot tub key and they sent someone in less than 10 minutes. The kitchen was super stocked with LOTS of plates, glasses, dozens of pots and pans, a crock pot, and more appliances than we could ever dream of. We made huge family meals for our group and had a blast! Thank you for the wonderful stay - we will absolutely be back.

The home is very spacious and the outdoor layout is great. It is set on a hillside so be prepared to walk to the dock and fire pit. The lake is visible from each level of the home which is nice. The home is near everything but set back from any main roads. I would stay there again.
