DESCRIPTION:
Looking for a serene vacation destination? Then look no further as Sylvan Sweet is the home for you! Thoughtfully located along the lakefront, this well-appointed home sits nestled away amongst the trees providing you with unlimited privacy while still being right on the water. After a day of traveling arrive to your home away from home where you are welcomed by rustic décor with ample seating areas and large windows allowing in the warm sunlight. No matter the season there is plenty to do!  On a cool fall evening make sure to enjoy the walking trail that runs along the lakefront or on warm summer days walk down to your designated dock slip and take a dip in the cool refreshing water. When you’re ready to go out to explore, you’re only a few miles from many activities including Fork Run Recreation Area, Swallow Falls State Park, and Wisp Resort — along with all the other shops, restaurants, and attractions on Garrett Highway. Come home for the evening and take advantage of the many amenities including a family game night on the pool table or ease those muscles in the warm bubbles of the hot tub. Level walk to the lake got our steps in. Lots of deer. Layout is great. Stayed in 08 before the addition. Beds are comfortable.

House is very well maintained and comfortable for a large or extended families (thank you to the owners and Railey!). It is located on a great area of the lake for fishing and swimming off the dock. Nice level yard and walking path to the lake.

We loved our stay at Sylvan Sweet! The location was extremely private as it is by the dam. The woods were glorious and we enjoyed our private path down to the lake with two sitting areas by the dock. We also enjoyed using the fire pit in the backyard as well as the one by the lake. The house was extremely clean, well air conditioned, and well equipped for our party of 7. It was the perfect house for a relaxing vacation by the lake.

This is a nice house for several people - we had 6 adults and 3 children. There was plenty of space for everyone. Access to the lake was a level walk under a canopy of trees. Everyone enjoyed their stay.
