At Sunset Dream, you really can have it all!  Thoughtfully situated along more than an acre of level lakefront, this well-appointed 4,500 square foot home sits on a quiet cove in the highly sought-after Sandy Beach community. The tall timbers and natural beauty surrounding you provide an idyllic lakeside experience full of rest and relaxation. Offering privacy and convenience, it is easy to spend the day out on the lake, swimming, fishing, and basking in the sun. Nearby Swallow Falls State Park provides spectacular hiking and waterfront panoramas in front of Maryland’s largest waterfalls.  So whether you are coming for a family vacation, a romantic weekend, or a getaway among friends, Sunset Dream is your "has it all" destination!

This home comes with free access to the Community Aquatic Recreation Center (CARC)! This fitness and wellness complex, located in the central Deep Creek Lake area, offers a modern gym and a full-size indoor pool. The free CARC membership is available to all guests in the home for the duration of your stay, up to the home’s full occupancy.

We really enjoyed our stay. House is beautiful with a stunning view of the lake, especially at sunset. Front yard could have used some TLC, looked like the grass hadn’t been cut in a while and lots of weeds.

Lovely home, large open spaces great for a family. Well furnished, good layout -- particularly appreciated the mud room. Setting is great if you are looking for a wooded forest lot. Nice beach access.

A Warm & Inviting Place to Gather

Walking into Sunset Dream changes your whole mindset. The warm wooden walls, the stone floor, the huge windows, and the soothing colors bring the serenity of the lake and mountains indoors. The huge great room with the kitchen right there make it the perfect place for the extended family to gather. The amazing mud room and laundry made meal prep and storage options so simple. The extra refrigerator was so convenient. It is a beautiful, thoughtful place and we had a wonderful time there.

We LOVED this property! The dock had deep water (perfect for kids jumping off and playing) and it was not a busy stretch of water. Location was perfect. The house was ideal for 11 people---the kids could use the pool table or play downstairs and it was still quiet upstairs. The big round table was great for all of us to eat together and play games. The mud room was huge and absolutely ideal! I would love to have one of these rooms in my house. It is a short level walk through trees to the dock. Before arriving I was very concerned because there is no open yard area for kids to run around and play. But that was never a problem---they spent all of the time at the dock! My only regret with Sunset Dream is that I had the wrong day in mind for the deadline to reserve it again for next year. I was a day late to try to reserve it and it was taken!

I’ve been visiting Deep Creek area for a number of times, and the Sunset Dream is the greatest places to stay. It’s located in the quite neighborhood with a nice beach/boat deck in the back. The kitchen was fully equipped with all the necessary gadgets and pots and pans. The extra space with tall table is located right next to the kitchen so we used it as a storage for our bags, snacks and more. Hot tub worked well. We look forward to coming back to this place.

This house was everything I hoped it would be! Spacious living area where the whole family could be together and plenty of bedrooms to accommodate all 12 of us. The jacuzzi was a perfect touch after relaxing on the private dock and taking a dip in the lake! I would highly recommend this place!

We rented this home in 2020 and immediately booked it again for thus year! It’s a perfect house/setting for our family of 11. An easy and beautiful walk to the lake, a nice size dock for fishing and swimming, an awesome kitchen....we like to cook....and the bedroom setup is perfect for 6 adults and 5 kids! Chances are...we will rent this house over and over again....we highly recommend it!

Sunset Dream was an absolutely perfect house for our family! Plenty of space....lots of bathrooms and the extra kitchen was such a nice amenity. The walk to the lake was easy for every member of our group. The wooded setting was peaceful and so very beautiful! I would highly recommend this rental and we plan on renting again! (FYI...we had 3 families with us, 6 adults and 5 kids...plenty of privacy for all of us!)
