We love the house, yard, and dock, and even had several very pleasant exchanges with the cove neighbors. Although it's smaller than the one we've had the past few years (Treasured Memories up on Deep Creek Drive) we like it better. And this house, at a lower cost, was much cleaner. We've booked it for next year! ----- More issues (continued): Stove Chipped and Sharp. There's a sharp edge where someone had apparently dropped something and knocked a piece off the stove top. Probably needs some epoxy to get a nice corner back on it, for cosemetic reasons. But meanwhile it's a bit of a hazard with its sharp edges. One of us lost some skin while moving things across between the stove and countertop; hopefully someone else doesn't get a worse laceration. Water Too 'Soft'. Is there a setting on your water treatment? Guests will likely be spending more water and electricity to feel fully rinsed off. But most of us always felt we had soap still on us after showering. Walkway Lights. Robin left a message for me about the lights along the walkway in front of the house not working. They were easy to ignore. More disconcerting is that the lights in the back yard and path to the water front do not light; and they are a tripping hazard with sharp edges on some. This is a risk area for you if they are not going to be fixed soon (or covered or temporarily removed ?) Broken drawer. A dresser was left (from the previous renters I guess) where the drawer face panel was just hanging down from the drawer, making the whole dresser effectively unusable because the edges then blocked all the other drawers. I glued and clamped that back together so that it could now be used. I'm surprised your housekeeping/management folks did not make a note of that to have fixed before or during our stay. (?) Shower curtain. The curtain in the main master bath is twice as wide as the opening to the shower. A minor thing, but this will be harder to dry between showers. It will have many folds in the wet curtain and be prone to growing mold. Silverware shortage. Given that the house is advertised as sleeping 16, it should have 16 settings. With only 10 or 11 guests most of our week, we were still short on dinnerware many times. [It was quite good to have lots of glasses, bowls and plate available.] Broken Glass. We cleaned up several broken beer bottles both from the fire pit and also from the shore by the docks.

The house and the back yard are very spacious. Great for family with small kids. Our kids love to swim at the small tucked in private area of the lake.
