DESCRIPTION: 
Get caught Playin’ Hooky at this stunning lakefront home! Playin’ Hooky is the place to be this summer with 2 buildings (main house and guest house) equipped with everything you could need to have a marvelous vacation including extraordinary living spaces, fantastic kitchens, perfectly placed decor, and beautiful filtered lake views. Gather on the deck of the main house for dinner or sunbathe in the expansive yard. Take the short stroll down the path to your dock slip and lake access and hop on your boat for a lap around the lake on perfectly sunny days. When evenings roll around meet back up around the campfire and enjoy the warmth of the fire and the warmth of each other’s company. Still have to do some work to do taking you away from the lakeside fun? No worries, all three bedroom suites have office desks great for knocking out some work before joining back in on the adventures. The guest house is also perfect for teens and kids that want some of their own space. With a kitchen, living room, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and loft area, it’s a retreat in it of itself. Lounge in the loft or on the cozy couch in the main living area or escape to the kid’s space or reading nook on the upper level. This home comes with free access to the Community Aquatic Recreation Center (CARC)! This fitness and wellness complex, located in the central Deep Creek Lake area, offers a modern gym and a full-size indoor pool. The free CARC membership is available to all guests in the home for the duration of your stay, up to the home’s full occupancy.

So spacious!

Our 18 member family had plenty of room in this wonderful house, plus the guest house. Our 5 year old granddaughter even got lost in it twice. The kitchen was amazingly stocked with everything needed to prepare meals. The back yard was beautiful and the dock was very close to get to our boat. I can't say enough good things about this rental, it had everything we would have wanted and things we didn't even think of. We would all do this again in a heartbeat. It was just such a beautiful home and we had a wonderful week there.

Our family of 14 found this house to be very comfortable for sleeping and gathering for games. The kitchen is huge and accommodated many cooks and helpers. The firepit was lovely and we enjoyed using the Weber grills several times. The hot tub was a favorite and having a separate guest house gave additional privacy. We really enjoyed this house.

Beautiful property for a family reunion. There was plenty to do for all ages and the home was equipped just as advertised. Most of the beds were very comfortable. The floor plan of the houses allowed enough flexibility to accomodate preferences of both young and old.

We loved having the separate guest house for extra space to spread out. Both houses were very well stocked in the kitchens! Also beautiful homes very clean and nicely decorated. Had issues checking in early because our reservation was not updated properly. That was resolved fairly easily with a phone call. Had to call two other times for maintenance that never came or called back but we were able to fix the issues; first was the dining room lights weren’t working and we found the breaker box which solved that issue, other issue was with the dishwasher it was leaking when running but we found a sealant strip was loose so we were able to put it back in place. Calling the phone number to get help was awkward too, just seemed like the woman taking the call was annoyed. Few minor issues did not ruin our time! Great location and great house!

My friends and I have been stuck in our houses for such a long time, so we were trying to find a place to get away for the weekend. The property was well suited for our group as we were able to have fun within the house, hot tub, and backyard right on Deep Creek Lake despite the snow right outside. I hope to come back in the future, hopefully over the summer, so my whole group can get to experience the fun of Deep Creek in the summer!

This house had a well stocked kitchen and home definitely felt comfortable although no heat in upper or lower levels. Memories were definitely made with my family.

Such a fun time. Beautiful home with amazing guest house. Tons of room, fully stocked kitchen, beautiful big hot tub. It was the end of summer and the water was so low, I don't think you'd be able to get a boat to the dock.

This vacation home was exactly what I wanted. It’s roomy enough to have as many people as you need, but the layout still makes it feel very cozy. Fireplaces, comfortable furniture, great kitchen. Access to the lake and proximity to the ski resort makes it a must stay. It was very clean and the hosts were kind and generous as well. I think I’ll stay again if we can make it work!!
