You will love the rustic modern design of The O A Chalet!  This lake access home sits on 5 wooded acres of land for total privacy.  Beautiful wood elements are carried throughout the inside and outside of the home. The open spaces, clean lines, and new home furnishings of the rooms present a welcoming space for your group to stay.  Enjoy a cozy evening by the fire while taking in the views of the gorgeous stone fireplace or looking out of the large windows overlooking the property.  The kitchen is equipped with all new stainless steel appliances, custom island, and sleek quartz countertops.  Unwind in the hot tub on the patio, or gather everyone out by the fire pit. This home also offers a downstairs game room to keep the whole family entertained. The O A Chalet is perfect for your next Deep Creek vacation. 

ACCESS DETAILS:
Community Lake Access is located at the end of Hummingbird Ct off of Lake Shore Dr. Docks are for swimming use only. No Vessels allowed. Please note that docks are only guaranteed from Memorial Day through Labor Day.

This home comes with free access to the Community Aquatic Recreation Center (CARC)! This fitness and wellness complex, located in the central Deep Creek Lake area, offers a modern gym and a full-size indoor pool. The free CARC membership is available to all guests in the home for the duration of your stay, up to the home’s full occupancy.

We loved the O A Chalet! It is close to all shopping, activities, and restaurants.The home is nicely furnished and the kitchen was very well stocked.The outdoor area was very nice, and we took advantage of the fire pit, which was very relaxing.The hot tub was wonderful! The young man that provided the routine hot tub maintenance was very courteous. We were enjoying our stay so much that we stayed an extra night!Thanks for a great week!

We loved our stay at the OA Chalet and can't wait to go back! The house is stocked with books for the kids and plenty of games (xbox, board games, corn hole, over-sized jenga, and a pool table)! The hot tub and fire pit were amazing to enjoy after a long day on the slopes - which are only 10 minutes away! The kitchen is well-equipped to make homemade meals and the long dining table had room for our entire group. The four bedrooms are nicely sized with comfortable beds for our group of 9 (3 kids, 6 adults). The house is warm and inviting, with modern, rustic décor. An added benefit was the full laundry room which was especially convenient to handle wet snow gear. Looking forward to another stay to enjoy summer activities.

PERFECT March Escape

A group of friends and myself came for a long ski weekend from Pittsburgh, Pa. The drive is short (only 1.5 hours) and access to get in the house was simple. The house is immaculate and is newly renovated. We were able to enjoy the comfortable beds and cook in beautiful kitchen. We did make our way to some bars/restaurants after the slopes for some beverages and food. The location of the house is great, so close to everything. We were able to go for a hike at one of the parks nearby and saw the most beautiful waterfalls. The outdoor hot tub was perfect for after the slopes and hiking. We will definitely be back again next year! Also looking to come back in the summer to enjoy the lake!

Perfect for a Ski Weekend !!!

My husband and I came here for a long ski weekend in February with a few other friends. The house was perfect for a weekend on the slopes. It was a short drive from Wisp and has an outdoor hot tub to help relax after a long day. There is a pool table and game-room area in the basement, plus an open living room with high ceilings and a large dinner table. We cooked all of our meals at the house, but some fun bars like the Honi Honi are super close by. Beds were comfy, bathrooms were immaculate, we are definitely excited to try coming back in the summer!

House needs a bit of TLC. Slow drains in the shower, dents and dings everywhere. Mouse droppings on the kitchen counter.

Given Deep Creek’s environment, it is not unusual for the occasional animal to make his way inside, but we want to be sure this is, indeed, a one-off occurrence that does not repeat itself. Our maintenance team will visit The O A Chalet to ensure there is no mice presence and to attend to the slow draining showers. Me and my children came here for an New Year experience and what an experience it was. We enjoyed every bit of this beautiful open home.the jacuzzi was awesome. The games and showers were nice too. The shower lining curtains could have been replaced as soap scum build up was on the ones we had but I thoroughly cleaned them . Some of the kitchen pots and pans weren’t in the best condition but still great usage . When our fireplace did not work both upstairs and downstairs we were given an extra days stay for the inconvenience which was amazing as we didn’t want to leave. The sights were beautiful view was serine and home was very cozy . We are coming back this year for Christmas and my kids cannot wait !! Will be making this our getaway home for future vacations .

Great Stay with some needed updates

The house was offset from the road so there was great privacy for our family vacation. We enjoyed the environment, large bedrooms, and easy access to all attractions. The only reason I can’t give a “great” rating is because the house needed some updates, specifically in the kitchen. The knives were blunt, the biggest cutting board was maybe 4x8 inches long, not enough silverware, and pots/pans were very beat up. I’m not a gourmet chef so I don’t expect top of the line but for a house that’s meant to serve 12, the kitchen atmosphere made it a struggle to make meals!

We loved this home it was perfect for our get away. House was well maintained and had great features. Location was perfect, right in the middle of everything and access to community dock for water fun. We look forward to renting again.

The O A Chalet was well decorated and equipped. We had an issue with the gas fireplace in the main room, which was quickly resolved by Railey maintenance. It was CLEAN and comfortable. Hot tub was wonderful. The check-in/out process was very simple. I have stayed in A LOT of rentals and this was one of the cleaner, well-maintained places that I have ever experienced. We had some driveway struggles but did not have 4WD so we need to own that! Overall, highly recommend The O A Chalet! We greatly enjoyed our stay.

Our group of 6 had endless fun playing giant jenga and pool together. The house was filled with extra touches all around that made the stay even better than we could have hoped for. We even got to see a momma bear and her Cubs right behind the cabin! We look forward to another exciting weekend here!

May rent again. Depends on who is with me, steep drive and stairs to get in are the ONLY reservations I have about renting it again. The house is pretty awesome! Hot tub was better than most rental houses are! Pool table and dart game in basement were nice. It was too hot to use, but the fire pit outside looked great. I posted pics on Facebook, and already had friends asking about this house. They are interested in renting it. Ice maker in fridge didn't seem to work. Maybe I couldn't figure it out. The drive is a little steep, so elderly need to beware. Plenty of space for everyone! Beautiful view! Kind of in the woods, not looking in any neighbors windows! Railey was helpful whenever I called with questions.

This cozy cabin was the perfect for our group's first trip to Deep Creek. The amenities were great but the lake.was a little bit further than described in the pictures and not simply a swimming dock as there were boats located there as well.

Great location within a reasonable distance from the main highway. Lake access is a little hard to notice but reasonably close by. Basement floor and deck area were a family favorite.

House was comfortable. Railey was helpful, and speedy, every time I contacted them. AC worked great. Beds were nice. Furniture was in good condition, unlike many rentals. Couldn't figure out how to get the ice maker on the fridge to work, but that is a small thing. Would stay here again!
