The home is perfect. So much space for us all to enjoy ourselves. We realized the hot tub temp locked and we could not cool it down, it was at 104, but we weren't able to lower the temp. We just decided not to use it. Everything was great otherwise. Thank you

We spent the weekend at Mystic Haven and we had an awesome time! It’s a 5 minute drive to get to the lake, markets and restaurants, and is beautifully tucked away in the woods. Great amenities like hot tubs and everything else you would want for a long weekend. Would absolutely stay here again and we plan to do so everyone we come back to Deep Creek!

My friends and I had a wonderful time staying at this property, and it made a perfect base for our adventures in the area. We all had our own space, and everything was of exceptional quality. The house has a large/well equipped kitchen, hot tub, and even a first floor master bedroom with it's own bath along with four other very spacious bedrooms w/ baths. We will certainly be back!

The house is very clean, comfortable, and well decorated. It has everything you need for a DCL/Garrett Count vacation. The first floor open floor plan is Is great. Basement rec room is a plus. All floors have 10 foot high ceilings, including the basement, which makes it feel roomy and open. Definitely recommend!

Wonderful home, well equipped, spacious, very quiet and more importantly with great access to all that the area has to offer, the lake, store, shopping, and riding bike trails or roads. I couldn’t recommend it more. Bed are very comfortable, the kitchen is large and well equipped, the dinning room is great for large groups. Kids room with bunk beds are awesome, great memories!!

We had a phenomenal time at Mystic Creek. With 4 adults and 4 kids staying, there was still an abundance of space and bed options. The house is clearly very well taken care of and clean. We came for a ski trip to Wisp. Being so close and conviennent to the resort, we were able to easily come back to the house during the day when the kids needed a break. I would highly recommend staying here.

Great home!! The only 2 issues we ran into was getting up the driveway it looked like it hadn’t been treated and was very slick with ice. Our cars constantly got stuck on the way up there. The hot tub also was a little dirty..however the house is quite spacious!! The kitchen was well equipped with items to cook with. TVs all over. Wifi worked well. I would stay and recommend this home

Beautiful home! Everything we needed or wanted was available. Cleaned spotless! Appreciated the quality towels and linens. Well stocked kitchen with literally all the appliances - big and small! Beautiful area - quiet, etc. Great rental process - easy and convenient.

Amazing Stay! Highly Recommend! We come to Deep Creek every year for our Family Reunion. We have stayed at a number of properties and this location was perfect. The other rentals have a dock, so we didn’t need that, otherwise it wouldn’t have fit our needs. Sleeping arrangements were great, kitchen is large and plenty of space to hang out and play games and socialize.

We had the best weekend here in April! Perfect house for multiple families and kids. All bedrooms are spacious and have their own bathroom. We enjoyed hikes, s’mores at the fire pit, the hot tub, and the cozy porch. Quiet, beautiful neighborhood and home. Would recommend to anyone during any season!

We had the best time at Mystic Haven. The home was beautiful, inviting, and cozy and had enough room for the whole family! We enjoyed the local hikes, food, and using the hot tub. Our extended family had an amazing time! We have stayed here multiple times during all seasons of the year including Memorial Day weekend, Fourth of July weekend, Labor Day Weekend, even winter in the snow, and every visit holds precious memories. Our most recent stay was July of 2022. The duplex is in excellent condition with a spacious basement to play, and the hot tub was a bonus. We spent evenings by the fire pit under the stars. Kitchen has plenty of dishes and cookware available. Outdoor screen porch was the perfect place for morning coffee and quiet conversation. On the last day of each trip, we did not want to leave. Whether you are water skiing or snow skiing, make this your next getaway destination.

We had such a wonderful vacation at Mystic Haven with two other families! It was the perfect layout for us - the parents enjoyed their own spacious master bedrooms upstairs (super comfy beds!) while the teens and tweens loved having their own living and hangout space in the basement complete with Jack and Jill bedrooms, including one with double bunk beds. The foosball table, pool table, and hot tub were a big hit also. The deck overlooks beautiful woodlands and is the perfect spot to enjoy morning coffee. The gourmet kitchen is well appointed with everything you need and there's a huge dining table for group meals and board games. We created great memories under the stars while roasting marshmallows and singing songs around the fire pit. The area is very private and nestled in the forest, but just a short drive to Deep Creek Lake, Swallow Falls State Park, and Wisp. You really feel like you are getting away from it all. Highly recommend!

Very spacious duplex in quiet, wooded area across from the lake. Lots of birds and wildlife. Many comfortable bedrooms and fully stocked kitchen. Perfect for large extended family or multiple families on vacation together. Hot tub and fire pit were highlights! We would love to come back!

Large home perfect for a family reunion. Kids loved the ping pong table and billiards in the basement. Hot tub was great at night and we made s’mores in the shared fire pit. Back porch is so peaceful in the morning with a cup of coffee. Can’t wait to go back again

This spaces matches up with my expectations from the description. The woods around are lovely in snow and when it melts. The fire pit is large and very safely laid out. The hot tub is well maintained. We had an outlet issue, but the company sent someone out within an hour of reporting it, and it was fixed. The kitchen is beyond fully stocked. Nearly every utensil you could imagine needing. It really was a lovely experience.

The house was perfect, all of the amenities were as promised. We loved that the house was fully stocked with cookware, dishes, and every cooking appliance you could dream of. Perfect home, and the neighbors were very pleasant. The hot tube was AMAZING and so was the fire pit!! One of my friends that was a part of our group rented the house for Christmas. This is the place to be Summer, Fall, Spring or winter. Also the local restaurants were bomb!

Great spot to vacation! The home is part of a symmetrical duplex. Great layout for bed space, and perfectly homey to have the kitchen / dining / fireplace on the main floor and fun game room in the basement room (pool, table tennis, foosball, TV for games). The hot tub was a great feature post-skiing, and we even made use of the grill! For future guests: make sure to purchase things like toilet paper, paper towels, and soap ahead of time, as they are not provided (it was in the housing instructions, but we missed that detail).

This home was lovely! We had plenty of space for the 10 of us. We enjoyed many mornings and evenings on the deck. We also enjoyed a few nights around the fire pit. The hot tub was a nice touch. And, the kids enjoyed the pool/ping pong table and the other games. Also the garage was a great place to store the bikes and fishing rods we brought with us. We would definitely rent this home again!

This house was wonderful for my family to stay in. Enough room for everyone. The homeowners did a great job designing a good floor plan to accommodate up 12-14 people comfortably.

Christmas at Mystic Haven

It was our first experience as a family going away for Christmas and Deep Creek was the perfect decision. We were able to celebrate as a family and relax and enjoy ourselves. We plan to come back once again, maybe during warmer weather to experience the lake and all the community has to offer.

We rented for a three day family get together involving 9 adults and 6 children (ages 5 -12). This unit worked out very well. It is large, well equipped, well located for our interests (hiking and occasional trips to the lake). Furnishings were very adequate and we appreciated the spacious kitchen as we had a lot of cooks at times. The kids tended to stay in the basement with the large tv, foosball and ping pong and the parents enjoyed the living area and balcony. Having a TV in virtually every room was a luxury we didn't expect. It very much met our expectations and needs. Recommended.

Our observations on how to improve the property, and these are very minor observations: more microwave cooking utensils (microwave safe bowls and storage items); have rental company check to make sure batteries in remotes are "live"; fix the handles on the barbecue as they were stripped and it was necessary to turn the gas on and off at the bottle.
