Community Outdoor Swimming Pool: Open Memorial Day Weekend - Labor Day, 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. daily.

This home comes with free access to the Community Aquatic Recreation Center (CARC)! This fitness and wellness complex, located in the central Deep Creek Lake area, offers a modern gym and a full-size indoor pool. The free CARC membership is available to all guests in the home for the duration of your stay, up to the home’s full occupancy.

Lovely home, great view , easy access

We , family of 9… , loved this rental. There were 3 families. So a few slept on a sofa. Or futon. Thankfully there were options. The bedroom on the main floor is quiet, even though the living room TV is on the other side of the wall. That bedroom had tons of natural light and great views. The entire home is updated so I won’t repeat this every room by room. But the bathroom was great. A large tiled shower. A jetted soaking tub which we’ve never got to use. Not enough time. But the best part was the bed. It was super comfortable. The living room and kitchen were nice and open. Plenty of seating space. Great views from the entire area. The two upstairs bedrooms both have their own separate bath and shower, etc. And they were large rooms. A futon and one allowed an entire family to sleep in that room. Both had comfortable chairs and privacy. There was another futon in the loft. In the basement there were two more bedrooms. Shared bath.. my daughter wanted to mention that the bathroom did smell kind of musty. Everyone who slept in the basement said the beds were comfortable as well. There were deer right outside of the window and the one bedroom. And three skunks. My grandchildren. Loved that the most.There’s also a family room with a wet bar. Nice laundry. And another large comfortable sofa. So it was like an entire living area. Perfect for breaking up families for a while.Very easy parking and access to the house which is always good to know. it even has a heated driveway not that we knew how to turn it on, nor did we have to.Huge decks.The lower level patio was awesome. We did not take it vantage of the grill or the fireplace. But we did use the fire pit . Bring a blanket or extra towels to sit on if it’s cold outside because those rocks get cold that you sit on. Overall it’s the best place we’ve ever stayed in deep Creek and we’ve been coming every year since 2007.The kitchen was fully stocked. They had three coffee pots if you need them. Also, important to me is the temperature control. Several of the place we stayed at before parts of the home to get too hot. This even temperature throughout.And the other places it’s very close to McHenry and all the shops. From Brenda’s pizza to shop and save. We’d love to come back.And a sidenote, the realty company is very responsive. This is not the first time we’ve had an issue with a rental. This time there was water on the bathroom floor. I let them know as soon as we got in. And within 30 minutes they sent someone out to check out the leak. And they had to send a contractor because it was on the mainline. It was so quick and professional. Thank you so much for sharing your space. We tried to take extreme care of your property.

After being shut out of a previous reservation (with another rental company). Railey came through with this beautiful, last minute rental. It was better than what we originally were looking at, so the entire family was extremely happy. The views were awesome , the fire pit was fantastic and the grill was amazing! We hope to secure this same property next year, depending on our schedule and availability! I almost hate giving a great review as I want to make sure that it will be able to secure it for our family next year! 😇 Kudos to the owners & Railey!

Great house with a beautiful view and plenty of different hang out areas. Close to Wisp resort (where we enjoyed a round of golf) and just a few minutes drive to the boat rentals (where we got a pontoon with a slide!!). Would be happy to bring the whole family back to this house and Deep Creek Lake. The kids especially will have very fond memories.

Wonderful stay with amazing views of the lake on a sturdy back porch. Upstairs mattress’s seem smaller than queen size but the house was very comfortable and user friendly. The community pool closed for the season was VERY disappointing, this was a big part of our attraction to DC Highlands community. We had a wonderful week with family and enjoyed the house!

This house was perfect for our trip. It was clean, well maintained, had a well stocked kitchen, and the neighborhood pool was a huge hit with the kids. The view gave us plenty to watch. We could just barely hear Garret Hwy from across the lake, but only outside and not bothersome. One of our favorite places so far!

House has wonderful features like a sauna, hot tub, fireplace and pool table. House was very clean and nicely decorated. Beautiful views out the back. Close to everything just minutes away. Make sure to bring own supplies though, like house cleaners (Clorox spray) and dish sponges-kitchen provides BARE minimum of dry goods like paper towels or cleaners etc.

The house met all my expectations and then some. I loved the outdoor pizza oven which the group made 16 pizzas and I cooked every one. The view was spectacular, if there is a better home I haven’t stayed there yet and I’ve been coming up here for 20+ years. Kudos to the owner on the fabulous house.

We have stayed at more than 20 vacation rentals over the years. Mountain View Lodge was one of the cleanest and had one of the best stocked kitchens we have encountered. It was well stocked with pots, pans, coffee pots, cups, plates, eating utensils, etc.... There was even a well stocked spice rack. We lacked nothing. The views of the lake were great while the outside grill and firepit were ideal for cooking out, relaxing by the fire and enjoying the night breeze. It rained often through the week so the rental more than compensated for the lack of sunshine. We were pleased with the extra decorative touches throughout. The bedrooms were comfortable. All TVs were working. One of the best touches was the way that all of the wall switches were labelled (this was a first and made things easier to operate). We had no com plaints and would recommend this rental to anyone. We were a party of six. Alex & Dawn

The lodge was beautiful! Great view, awesome amenities. I hope we can make it back to visit again. The staff was very accommodating and super friendly. The pizza oven was a very interesting feature.

Beautiful home! Spectacular view from atop the mountain. Great amenities indoor sauna, hot tub, fire pit and pool table. Had some issues with tv not working and driveway was a sheet of ice could not get up or down. Other than that this home is highly recommended in a beautiful community.

Very nice home with beautiful views. Property appeared as described, the back patio area had some weeds around and over the patio, but it wasn't bad and didn't take away from the house.
