Great home for family and/or friend gathering. Large master bedroom on first floor. Queen beds in the remaining four bedrooms. With the two bedrooms on the lower level you will have to share the bathroom. There are alot of dishes in the kitchen but I would suggest doing what I do and bring a traveling cookware set. Be aware that there are no curtains on the living room level. This property has a new grill on the deck. This home has multiple heaters for those cold days. I have seen other reviews state the Smiley Restaurant is in walking distance but the Burger King (if this is were you like to eat) is not. This property location allows you to view a little of the lake but you cannot just walk over to it because it is private property. I still have to say they I enjoyed my stay and could rent this property again.

This is a great house and location. The pictures are accurate but the house definitely needs a deep cleaning and some maintenance. The beds need mattress pads and the windows have gorgeous views but the sun in mid-afternoon to evening is unbearable.

House works well for an extended family visit with 5 bedrooms. Living room needs better furniture but overall space is good....grandkids (teenagers) loved the downstairs to gather for games.

This house was perfect for our group needs. The teenagers enjoyed the entire basement while the adults had the other floors. The kitchen/living room space offered plenty of space for the whole group to enjoy meals together.

The house was large and roomy for the 10 of us that stayed there in the summer. Lake access was only a 2 minute walk across the street and down in front of the lodges. There were stone steps leading to the water where there was a small swimming area between the docks. There is no dock access. The house was clean and seemed to have all the amenities we needed. The hot tub was very nice.

The house was large and adequate for the 10 people staying with us. It was clean upon arrival. The mattresses could have been a little better as they seemed worn. There is no dock available for the place but it does have lake access. The access is only a two minute walk across the street by the lodges. There is a set of stone steps to get into the water. There is a little swimming area in between the docks there. The location was nice due to it being close to restaurant/bars and the Deep Creek Fun Zone.

This house was absolutely wonderful for our long weekend away with extended family members. Everyone had their own space and even bathrooms! Two living room like areas helped as well. Fun games were available. Walkable to the nearby Fun Zone and shops!! Would definitely stay here again.

The house seems not well cared for. It sleeps 11 but there is really not space enough on 1 floor for all to gather together. The living room furniture was not comfortable and seemed VERY dated. The layout of the house is kinda tight for all to hangout in the same area. The deck is nice, but the furniture there is also not in great condition. The location is GREAT and the hot tub is too. The downstairs living room is huge and a nice space to hangout. The adjacent townhomes we stayed in last time had a more cohesive layout.

Overall a great home. Spacious and nice. The outside deck needs some work. Has a rotten board in the middle which is very dangerous. Furniture on deck needs replaced or sanded/stained. Downstairs electric fireplace didn’t work which was pretty disappointing. Master bath was amazing. Some of the games are missing pieces and bring your matches if you want a real fire.

One of the best places we have stayed so far. Lots of room in the house. We had 10 people staying. Down side is upstairs showers don’t get any water if running water anywhere else. Need bigger pots. Overall I would definitely recommend this place.

The house is nice and cozy we enjoyed our stay..We didn't use the grill due to it was dirty and had water in the bottom of it. There is cigarette butts in the bushes by the hot tub. Other than that everything was great

This property was excellent!! Not only did the property look identical to the pictures, both inside & out, but it was fully furnished — everything that we were told would be provided for us was! It was such a peaceful & spacious space, the view was superb (especially sitting on the deck in the mornings & taking in the view), and there were so many activities to do in the area — the farthest we had to drive was only 20 minutes! Everyone left wanting to make this a yearly tradition. Not to mention, this was a first time visit to Deep Creek for all of us, and Railey Vacations truly outdid themselves. I’m truly grateful!

Great location with nearby amenities/entertainment. House is clean, well equipped, and spacious. There were board games and card games in the house. The lower level bathroom could use a hook on door (it was broken off), and the counter stools in kitchen weren't the right height to be usable (different than what is pictured), but with a small group, we didn't need those. We have already booked a return visit, and considering a stay with a different group as well.

Everything was perfect. There was enough space for all 9 of us. The only thing was the extra blankets in the closet were not clean. Other than that everything else was spotless. Good location as well

Very convenient location, well stacked kitchen (very good quality china and glass). Bed and linens are very comfortable. House is clean and nicely decorated. It has 4.5 bathrooms which is a huge plus for bigger group. We had a very pleasant fall getaway. One thing might be out of the owner's control is we had very noisy neighbors that partied till 2am for both nights' stay, that one couple had to moved from their 2nd floor bedroom, which is facing that neighbor, to a spare basement bedroom. We read that the neighborhood has quite-night policy but apparently not well enforced.

The house interior was superb, but the last attention to entry way and porch detracted from our overall rating. It would be helpful to have a mobility aids/bars in a some of the bathrooms and also in the master bathroom. It would also have been helpful to have automated blinds or curtains for the bottom tier of living room windows.

The home is beautiful and close to Deep Creek attractions. There are many amenities to make you feel at home in the rental. The bedrooms are spacious, and the gathering areas are large. The hot tub is easily accessible and offer you privacy when using it. We plan on booking this home again.

Every year we have a group of 4 couples and we get together for a long weekend of fun and relaxation. Mountain Gem was an absolutely wonderful place to stay. The home was very clean and well kept. They provided a generous amount of wood which was nice because it was super cold. Will definitely keep this house on rotation.

We've rented this house for a few years (though it recently was sold to a new owner). We love the proximity to Wisp and that it's walking distance to a number of restaurants/bars and activities. This is a fun house to share with friends or family. There is a bedroom on the main level with a huge master bathroom (walk-in shower and separate jacuzzi tub). On the upper level there are two bedrooms, each with an en suite bathroom. The basement also has two bedrooms and share a hall bath. It does get cold down there, but they provide extra blankets. It would be nice to have a bunk bed option (the fold away is not too comfortable) for room sharing. We love staying here and will continue to rent it for our annual ski trip!

Great place to stay with plenty of room. Ideal location as there are bars, restaurants, etc nearby, can even walk to a few things. Amazing views, can watch the skiers from the main living room and deck. Hot tub is awesome! Bring toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags, cleaning supplies as these are not provided with this Airbnb.

This place was exactly what is described. The pictures match perfectly. The place is beautiful, the environment was beautiful. There was only One thing i felt could have been better; the details of the household items. The description tells you to bring your own toulet paper, towels, kitchen appliances ect, but in actuallity the place provides all of that. But i look at it as a pleasent problem to have. Overall a great home but some things need fixing. Downstairs electric fireplace does not work so that was disappointing. Upper deck has a rotted board in the middle which is very dangerous. Furniture on deck needs replaced, chipping and peeling wood furniture was not inviting. No fire pit as advertised. Beds were nice.
