This was the perfect property for our group of three generations! Plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms and three living areas including a game area. The kitchen was well stocked. Had a little issue with slow burners on the stove, but when we called, a nice guy came by with hot plates, until the issue could be resolved by the gas technician. All in all, hope to go back next year!

Amazing home, the one thing that would have been helpful was to know that the hot tub needed to run for a few hours prior to using it.

Beautiful and Clean with no hot water 2 years in a row

My family and rented this house two years in a row. The first year we enjoyed our stay despite some issues like not having hot water and a couple of broken chairs on the deck. We tried to have thebgit water fixed while there with no luck. The other items we let management know about before checking out. I was hopeful that the issues would have been long fixed by pur visit this year. Not only were the chairs still broken from the previous year, but additional chairs had hoined the unusable ones. The umbrella on the deck was also still in bad shape, even worse. This year we had no hot water at all. A representative informed me someone would be out to check on the hot water heater after my call. However, four hours later no one had shown up. I called back and at first the representative did not see our request in the notes. She did however see a notice that the hot water heater wasn't working two days before we arrived. So this was an on going issue. We decided not to come back next year. The house is beautiful and clean but lots of little things will keep you from being able to fully enjoy the stay.

First, thank you for being a repeat guest. Guests are our lifeblood, and we appreciate them all, but especially repeat guests like you. We are so happy to hear that you found Morning Star to be clean and beautiful both times you have stayed there. The hot water at Morning Star is heated by a high-end “tankless” heating system. The failure of the system was repaired and tested several times extensively, including running water from all of the hot water spigots in the house at the same time for 30 minutes to provide confidence that the hot water system works well. We do hope you will come back to Deep Creek lake. If you do, we hope you'll give us a call. Morning Star is ideal house for a family get-together. We celebrated wife's 60th birthday there with 13 people there. The kitchen area to the 12 seat dining area is ideal. The house is plenty large enough to spread out and relax, as there large great room in basement and propane fireplace in family room, large front porch with a triple umbrella. Could be renamed Starry Night as there are only a few spot lights on by neighboring houses

The hot tub never worked while at the location. Someone checked on it the following day, filled the tub with more hot water but then the hot tub still didn’t work as one of the seals continued to spout water from top. Called again on Saturday but nobody ever came. The tankless water heater is inefficient. We took a lot of cold showers. Someone came by and said it shouldn’t be doing that but never fixed anything because it continued to do the same thing. Please have cleaning personnel lift up a couch cushion and vacuum it every once in a while. Nothing worse than hiding Easter eggs and finding some unsavory things. There was glass around the fire pit, a huge piece of glass sitting on the bottom of the dishwasher, and cigarette butts all besides both decks.

Me and my family stay was very wonderful. The house was very large and great space for 12 ppl. The kitchen is great and is equipped with all kitchen appliances. I really loved this house and will be booking it again in the summer months. It snowed while my family and I was there and it was really easy to get out.

Morning Star was perfect for our extended family trip. Beds were super comfortable. Kitchen was fully stocked with any and everything you may need. The layout was functional and the rooms were spacious. Each level had its own living area which was nice. Location is super convenient to Wisp and the community is quiet and well maintained. I would stay here again next time we’re in town.

Morning Star was a beautiful home. I just felt the the Owner or cleaning staff should have attempted to clean the gas grill it looked as if it wasn’t cleaned in years. The fire pit should be in the front of the house

Heating and Cooing system needs some attention. The basement was extremely cold if you have AC turn on on the main floor. The house was very clean and overall good condition.

Great Stay, Would Come Again

I had a great birthday weekend at the Morning Star home. The home was very spacious giving everyone room to be together and apart and not have to feel on top of each other. I loved the hot tub and the fully stocked kitchen supplies so we could make amazing meals. The bathrooms we did have to re-clean ourselves as a few of us found hair in them but other than that a pretty good stay.

This home was perfect for our family with adult children. The home was laid out perfectly and the bedrooms were exactly what we needed with a King bed in each room. The home looks deceiving from the outside but is HUGE inside. We loved it and will definitely consider renting again! We even got lucky with snow! It was the perfect place to spend Christmas!

Thoroughly enjoyed ringing in the New Year at Morning Star. The house is laid out very well and really allows for some separation when needed. The bedrooms are large - there were 6 of us and we really needed 5 bedrooms - it was great that people didn't really need to share bathrooms. Downstairs was great. The en-suite bedroom was huge. The basement living area was a welcome surprise with lots of space, comfortable seating and entertainment options including Pool. Ping Pong and Cornhole - and yes there was enough space to play indoors. Kitchen is extremely well stocked. Its a little tight - but just gave me excuse to kick people out of the kitchen while I cooked. Hot tub was nice. We were also happy to have maintenance even come and salt the driveway one day when there was freezing rain. Highly recommend this home!

The house was immaculately clean - what a beautiful space. For an adult trip w/ friends, this was the perfect house as it had 6 king beds. We loved every minute and hope to return again in the future. (Reviewed on Airbnb by guest)

The pictures were accurate to what the house is, which is nothing short of beautiful. Nice parking in the driveway, spacious rooms, the layout was perfect. I look forward to my future stays.

Overall the home was clean and very nice. It was apparent the house was fairly new. The beds were generally comfortable. All appliances worked well. A few of the arrondock chairs by the fire pit were already broke when we arrived, but we had brought camping fold out chairs, so no problem. The community was quiet, and well kept, with some wildlife crossing through the property. I would definitely rent the property again.

Our extended family of 13 have stayed at many vacation homes on beaches and mountain sides and this was one of the nicest ones. The kitchen was the best stocked of all. The silverware, plates & glasses were probably set up for 2 dozen. We loved everything about the week. We even had a few bears walk by.

Morning Star home is beautiful. Large enough that you can have some me time than it’s great for coming together , All the rooms are nice. Kitchen is just like the pictures the kids loved the basement area for playing pool and watching movies.

We really enjoyed our stay at Morning Star. The house had plenty of room for all of our group. We had three families, 6 adults, 7 kids and had room for more! The Kitchen was beautiful and had all the amenities we needed.

This was a beautiful home. The pictures didn’t quite do it justice. Seemed much bigger and nicer than in the photos. All king bedrooms with super cozy beds and great furnishings.
