 Get ready to create lasting memories and enjoy every joyful moment at this beautiful lakefront home! Moments & Memories is seated in a prime location on Garrett Highway allowing you to be just minutes away from all the activities Deep Creek has to offer. Walk in to aesthetically pleasing and contemporary decor, providing you with all the comforts you would have at home! Start your day with a fresh cup of coffee on the back deck, breathing in the cool morning air as the sun rises over the lake prepping for the fun day ahead. Don’t waste any time when it comes to exploring the lake locations all around you! Take advantage of the private dock slip here at the home and rent a boat where you can spend the day sailing across the lake, and even boat to dinner if you’d like. During the cooler season take the short drive over to the Wisp and hit the slopes where there are trails for all. Also be sure to check out the Deep Creek Fun Zone for an afternoon filled with tasty pizza and arcade games. After a busy day go back to the house for an evening of relaxation! Ease your muscles in the warm bubbles of the hot tub which is covered for year-round use. Then start up the wood burning stove in the main level living room for an evening of nostalgia while watching your favorite family movie. This is the 5th time that I've stayed at Moments & Memories in the past year. Last week it was for a girls getaway. The house is beautifully decorated and the kitchen is well stocked. It's also close to shops and restaurants. Sitting by the fire pit and sitting in the hot tub were great ways to relax!

We loved this home! The location was gorgeous and right on the water where we fished off the docks and did some tubing too! The interior of the home was very nicely appointed with beautiful tiles in the bathrooms and shiplap boards on the ceilings. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you needed to use whether you cooked a lot or a little. We made fires every night and enjoyed the view during the day. Centrally located, this place was perfect for us!

The view of the lake is beautiful and easy to access . The house experience not so much. When we arrived, we found our bedrooms, then grabbed a drink and sat outside to enjoy the early evening . We heard an alarm and discovered the smoke detector was saying, “evacuate, evacuate “! We called the office and they said a maintenance man will be out. Waited an hour called again, by now office is closed and got the after-hours service…..someone will be out. It took one more call to get it fixed. I know they have no control over defective products , but it took 2.5 hours and 3 phone calls. By then, it was getting chilly so we adjusted the thermostat to 70, then retired for the night. Thermostat was “scheduled” by homeowner(?) but you dont expect to have to sleep under blanket, comforter, wearing socks and a fleece jacket! It was a balmy 63 degrees!! We called, they sent a maintenance guy out (very polite) and he contacted owner, adjusted temperature and all was well . Temperature was great until the night before we checked out….it was set back down to scheduled 63F temperatures. .When you walk into the large kitchen and living area, its very nice. Kitchen is well stocked, sofa comfortable, dining area has room for nice family dinners or card playing. Then you look around….cobwebs with dead bugs in kitchen and bedroom hall, gummy bear candy was tossed on the ledge going to lower level (maintenance guy got it for us)….maybe its time for a new cleaning service? The bedrooms were mid size at best with ceiling lighting, no bedside table lamps for reading, no dresser, not even a hook to hang up anything. The main bathroom did not have a tp holder, rolls were placed on back of toilet! Master bath vanity had water damage, particle board cabinet was flaking from water damage at edge of sink. On a good note, the showers were very nice, great water pressure and the provided towels were clean, large and soft. The back deck looked fairly new, with trek like boards but they were curved up and dipped down when you stepped on them right outside the back door. Just a note for those with youngsters, the outside stairs to get to the lake, fire pit and comfy Adirondack chairs only has a railing on one side leaving the opposite side open to the concrete patio. We did not use the hot tub, but it looked well maintained.On a final note, if we come back, I would definitely use a company with better maintained rentals.

The house is in need of work and not cosmetic work. Its tough to walk in and be greeted with spider webs complete with dead bugs in the corners of the kitchen and hall. Continuing to check out the basement bedroom, there were two gummy bears on the ledge. Lets clean the house before the guests arrive, please! The deck boards are warped, the bedrooms are sparsely furnished, the particle board bathroom cabinets are water damaged and flaking. No lamps on the minimalist bedside table means you turn out overhead lights before getting into bed, meaning no reading in bed without having to get out and turn off the light!It was nice to sit out back and enjoy the lakeside view. The kitchen is well stocked with a cup or coffee pot option on the Keurig, the living room sofa is very comfortable and clean, the dining room table is spacious for eating or playing board games. The first night the smoke detector kept going off (i realize its not their fault) but it took three calls to get a response. That night it was chilly and we adjusted the thermostat to 70……it didn’t work. We slept with socks, blankets, comforter, and our fleece coats to keep warm, it was 63 when we woke. The homeowner had it on a set schedule…. We were comfortable after that, but the last night (Sunday) it went back to the set schedule. Honestly, Deep Creek area is very nice but this was such a disappointment, I’m not sure we would go back or use Railey Vacations.

Moments and Memories is a beautiful lake house. The house was very clean and located to everything you could want to do. Our kids loved jumping off the private dock and swimming in the lake, sitting around the fire, and of course the hot tub. I would definitely recommend staying here.

This was an adorable house. Great location. There were a lot of dead bugs/cobwebs/spiders, either in the house or right outside (just saw a couple dead bugs in house). But that is not even really a complaint - just an observation as we kept trying to avoid walking into them LOL. The rooms also seemed a bit tight - we did not have a lot of room to move around. The master bathroom was also pretty small - no real sink room. But yes I do recommend this property and would stay here again!

The house is beautiful and was perfect for a girls’ trip. The house is clean, has everything you need and is nicely decorated. It’s also near restaurants and stores. The view of the fall colors on the trees across the lake was a bonus. I would definitely stay here again. While we were checking in we met Bree from the realty office who was very welcoming.

Very upset with the cleaning prior to our arrival as floors were filthy and thick dust on ceiling fans. Disappointed hot tub was never fixed as house was booked for private boat dock and hot tub. Overall good location and comfortable beds/couches. Doors need some work as most could not shut without loud slamming noise. Not enough pots/pans for large group cooking. Bills rentals used our “private” dock more than once and left one tied overnight after asked to stop another then pulled into the slip same day. Good location of home but tight parking for multiple trucks and boat trailer.

The house is very nice and it is very well located near everything: from groceries, to ice cream and restaurants and bars. Since it was located right across from the state park, we were able to put our boat and jet ski in the water using the parks' ramp. Also, it was very convenient that the rental office has a big parking lot to leave the boat trailers. The only thing that would be a "nice to have" addition is a roll on jet ski floating dock. With all the boat traffic right in front of the dock, the waves at the dock were pretty wrought for a small watercraft.

This house was perfect for our girls trip! We had plenty of space in the house and in the yard to gather and relax and all the furniture is very comfortable. We loved being lake front and close to popular gathering spots!

We recently stayed at Moments and Memories a beautiful lakefront 4-bedroom house at Deep Creek Lake, MD. The view of the lake from the living room, dining area, and kitchen was amazing. The house had big TVs in every room, which was great for watching movies and shows. The lakefront hot tub under the deck was a perfect place to relax. The house has a dock which makes it nice if you like to boat or fish. The kids had a great time playing foosball and watching movies on the large tv. Overall, this house is comfortable, clean and offers stunning views. Highly recommended for a great vacation!

We stayed at Moments and Memories in April 2024. Such a beautiful remodeled home. A nice cozy home with everything you need to feel at home while there. We enjoyed the spacious open living area with a beautiful view of the lake. We enjoyed the night air in the under deck hot tub. And warming up next to the relaxing fireplace. The rental had everything we could ever need or want. The bathrooms were nice and roomy. And they have a boat dock right down from the rental. Plus a couple grills and a fire pit. And it’s so close to everything. Beautiful, charming and cozy rental. And the rental company was so kind and helpful as well.

Moments & Memories is the perfect lake house for a weekend getaway with friends. We loved the beautiful views and enjoyed relaxing by the fire pit. We've stayed in Deep Creek many times and really enjoyed this rental. It was spacious enough for our group and had all the amenities needed to enjoy a relaxation vacation in, new appliances, wood burning fire place, and hot tub were all in excellent condition. Location was great, very close to Arrowhead Market and Brenda's pizza, one of our favorites! Clean and welcoming, newly remodeled and up to date, bathrooms were awesome! I could only image how great it would be once the weather breaks and families can enjoy the outdoor spaces and lake.
