The property has a beautiful sight line from the A-frame of Deep Creek and the changing trees on the other bank. Cleanliness not great. Used QTip under a bathroom sink. Slow drainage 1st floor bedroom bathroom sink. Peanuts and trash under the fold-out couch lower level. Sofa in living room and fold out couch have seen better days. Kitchen was fine except there were just 2 knives. Selling point is the view and fire pit was fun.

I have mixed reviews. Decent place by the lake. It is peaceful here. The view is truly beautiful. It's ok inside. The bedding was so nasty that none of us felt comfortable sleeping in the beds. So yellow and stained that we couldn't even sleep with the proper sheets. Owner really needs to get new sheets and comforters. There are so many cobwebs inside. Outside could use a good power washing but that's not a deal breaker. Maintenance of the place just needs to be a little better. Overall, the inside was clean enough and smelled clean. There was gum stuck to the top of the one bunk bed. We got an email that the hot tub for our property was fixed but we get here and no hot tub??? So confused. Would we book this property again? Probably not. For $1,600 for 3 nights, I expected a lot more.

This A Frame was more than adequate to accommodate our family of 7 for the week. The lack of AC was not an issue due to the fans provided, although the broken ceiling fan in the loft was a disappointment. The only other issue was was the refrigerator filter needing replaced. We enjoyed our stay on the lake and would return in a heartbeat. Hopefully when we come back Glendale Road will be open again. I would not hesitate to book this rental again.

The house is exactly what we expected. It was a last minute booking and we were grateful to find something so cute and cozy right ont he main lake. The dock was great and the landscape lighting to and from the home was perfect as we were out after dark every evening! We lpve Deep Creek and this area of the lake is our favorite!

Lost and Found was a prefect spot for our family of four! Just big enough to feel open but perfectly sized to feel cozy and tucked in back in the woods. The upper deck is great for grilling and hanging out. Private dock is a must! Did some fishing off the dock but the boat traffic seems pretty busy in this area so not great results but other than that it was not bothersome at all. The Railey team also provided 5-star service while we were staying there so thank you for that!!

We enjoyed our stay as a family of four right on the lake in this gem of a cabin. The private dock was perfect and the space inside was cozy and wonderful as the pictures can almost show— have to be there to really experience it. Would recommend to anyone with a similar family size or would be perfect for a couple too.

Great Weekend at the Lost & Found Cabin!

The cabin did not disappoint! This lovely cabin was just as described. We arrived to find it very clean, cozy, modern upgrades, and well-stocked with kitchen utensils and a large variety of cookware. The view from the deck and the firepit was beautiful! We even had visits from a family of deer, literally a few feet away. The lake was frozen and we watched people ice fishing and riding snow mobiles. We used the firepit to toast marshmallows and make s'mores. All the things you want to experience at a winter cabin vacay. We will definitely return.

Lakehouse for a Smaller Group

This house was a perfect size for our group of 6. The kids loved the water that was accessible to the house. The outdoor house/furniture could use power washing (so many cobwebs). The parking lot is a shared parking with other houses, not sure if that was disclosed on the website but did not know about it. The other houses were empty so it was ok for us but it could be really tight I can imagine. Beds are on the smaller side, I think the largest one is a full bed which is on the main floor.

This is a nice house - really quaint, cute updates, etc. We really enjoyed the beautiful views from the deck, fire pit and dock area. This part of the lake wasn’t very deep so our kids could actually touch (water shoes recommended) and it was easy for them to jump in & out while swimming and rafting. There is a fair amount of boat traffic in this part of the lake, which makes the dock really rock and can be a bit noisy or fun to watch, depending on your point of view. This area is very close to the state park for hiking and an easy 10+ min drive into the main area of town for food and activities. Like many rentals, I felt there was a little TLC needed like to the outside stairs, missing lights by the outside stairs and the basement in general is pretty musty/damp, the ping pong table is totally warped and the comforters were stained, etc. Personally, I wouldn’t want to count on adults sleeping in the loft or basement but otherwise the house was clean and enjoyable.

The house was cute and the location was perfect. Overall a great house. There is no air conditioning and few windows, so hard to get a breeze flowing on the upper floor which was "stuffy" for most of our stay.

This was a stunning location, and beautiful, beautiful! cabin. We loved it and plan to come back. The pictures are very accurate. It’s nested in the woods and the access to the lake is incredible, however, very accessible to town with a car in a few minutes. The TV/Internet setup was very reliable. The kitchen was well stocked with main cooking items and a few extras. We traveled with children and did not need to bring anything beyond the basics. Bottom line, this is a beautiful space and its surroundings are perfect for a short or long getaway to escape while enjoying modern and technology amenities. Cleanliness feedback: Place was spotless. There was a bit of a musty smell upon arrival. Also, the steps leading into the house and out to the lake could’ve been cleared of ice in preparation for our arrival, particularly for safety. Aside from those small items, it was spectacularly clean! Check-in feedback: Check-in was fantastic and timely. Keyless entry was extremely convenient. This bit of feedback is regarding check-out. One bit of feedback is that check-out required us to put away all dishes and take out the trash before returning the key. While we had been tidy and all dishes were being stowed away clean into the dishwasher, on our way out these tasks added a 30 minute load of work drying and storing away as we tried to head out the door. Also, kept us from doing the last meal we had planned since we could not just load and run the dishwasher on the way out. Value feedback: This was an excellent house. One unfortunate item was that hot water ran out much too soon. With eight guests and at the price point of the house, we expected hot water to be readily available. We did not run the dishwasher or washer at the house, but despite this, at most three of us could use hot water at night before it ran out. We had to schedule and split baths between morning and night time to ensure everyone had a hot shower.

This property is stunning! As beautiful as the photos are, it's even better in person! We just recently visited, Jan. 2018, and I would assume the total renovation of the house is about 1 yr. old. The design and architectural detail is thoroughly impressive (coming from someone from the design industry). The details are smart, practical and beautiful, resulting in a property with wonderful energy. Although the house is not large, it's excellent execution of designed makes for a super comfortable (and spacious feeling) home for a group of 6 -8. Equally important, the house was spotless, I mean spotless! The only improvement to suggest, would be adding 1/2 dozen or so wall hooks to the master bdrm since there's no closet, only a dresser. The house is about 20 mins to WISP (quick), has good parking, and is an easy walk down about a dozen or so (long in length) shallow steps to enter into the house. We can not wait to rent this house again in the future!!

The house is classic and in a great location right on the lake. There were little touches like firewood ready at the fire pit, a ping pong table for the kids and a minnow trap that were very nice. I would highly recommend this rental.

We had a relaxing stay with two young kids. Great floor plan, proximity to water, modern conveniences, and perfect weather made for an easy and enjoyable stay. The owner's have done a great job of updating this property for the modern family.

I loved this place. It's right on the lake, beautifully furnished, plenty of bed, has a fire pit and a ping pong table. We rented a boat for the day, so having our own dock was wonderful. We also were able to swim off the dock. I would definitely stay here again!

Lost and Found is an excellent location and for vacation. It has everything a family would need to be more than comfortable. When called for assistance, the property management provided service within 15 minutes from my call. Con: The floors recent were vanished/stained and the chemical smell was VERY STRONG, negatively affected my wife, who is pregnant. We should have been alerted. Had to open all the windows, burn a candle in order to stay (my wife was scared to stay with the chemical smell). A nice to have would be a fireplace. I recommend this property to other but I would like not to for selfish reasons. So, it will be available for my family when I want to schedule a visit... Property has a lot of upside and beautiful, steps away for the dock. Great place to dock your boat and hit the lake in second.
