You will relax and unwind from it all at this private and exclusive Deep Creek Lake mountain escape!  From spacious wraparound decks to an enormous five acre lawn that includes an on-site playground, tennis/basketball court, fire pit, and a private hot tub, the possibilities are endless! Log Mahal is a uniquely crafted home that definitely does not lack exquisiteness; It is rustic and wild without compromising comfort and can easily accommodate 14 guests - So bring the whole family, and don't forget the dogs cause this property is dog friendly too!! The main level contains an expansive fully-equipped kitchen, a 25-foot floor-to-ceiling wood-burning stone fireplace, high vaulted ceilings, and plush leather furniture. Soak in the expansive views from the spacious wrap around deck or soak in the hot tub located just out the basement doors. Whether you’re in search of a multi-family reunion, a corporate getaway, or just a relaxing stay at Deep Creek Lake, Log Mahal is the home for you!


ACCESS DETAILS:
Lake Access and Dock Slip are located down Paradise Acres Rd on a gravel road with a sign saying "farm use lake access."

Please note that the only vehicles allowed down the path are UTVs and golf carts. Standard vehicles are not permitted and fines will be issued.


COMMUNITY/AREA DETAILS:
This home is located in the Boy Scout/Penn Point Area at Deep Creek Lake.

**Due to renovations, the CARC will be closed from March 13th through April 13th. This home comes with free access to the Community Aquatic Recreation Center (CARC)! This fitness and wellness complex, located in the central Deep Creek Lake area, offers a modern gym and a full-size indoor pool. The free CARC membership is available to all guests in the home for the duration of your stay, up to the home’s full occupancy.

Our Log Retreat property combines this home with the adjacent property, our fantastic Log Hut property!  With nine bedrooms and expansive outdoor space, Log Retreat is a wonderful way to accommodate your next family reunion or large group retreat. Log Hut and Log Mahal do not accept individual summer bookings; all reservations must be made for the combined Log Retreat property.

4WD/AWD or snow tires are always recommended for the area during the Winter months of November - March. For more house specific driveway information, please refer to your app/guest portal after booking.

DOG BREED LIMITATIONS: Even in dog-friendly homes, it’s prohibited to bring any dog with a history or instance of aggressive or reactive tendencies. We welcome any dog which you know to be well-socialized, trained, and friendly in any situation involving others, both human and canine, as there may be nearby dogs at neighboring properties. However, due to restrictions in place by homeowner insurance policies, breeds listed as most aggressive are banned from all rentals, regardless of the training and temperament of the individual dog. We come to Log Mahal every winter. The house has everything we need! The beds are comfortable, the hot tub is wonderful and the fireplace and living room are very relaxing.

We stayed with our 2.5 year old plus some extended family and a dog. The house is perfect for such a group. Our toddler didn’t want to leave the property because there was so much room to explore and play. Houses are set back off the main road and property is tree lined so there is a lot of privacy. Railey was very responsive via email with the minor issues that came up.

We had an incredible stay at Log Mahal. We were a family of 4 with a dog but there was plenty of room for more! The cabin had so much to offer including a hot tub, foosball, PAC Man, darts, and a large property to roam and play in the snow. The kitchen is very nice and provided us with all the necessary conveniences. The beds were comfortable and the home was very clean. It was the perfect getaway and we look forward to coming back! Maybe next time we’ll come in the summer to make good use of the fire pit and tennis court!

Our family rented this home for a much needed change of scenery and we definitely got it. We booked in December and the home was decorated inside and out for the Holidays. It didn't hurt that 6 inches of snow had just fallen. What a perfect arrival feeling. The home also had strong WiFi for the kids in school, lots of games for people of all ages, and a great hot tub.
