Snuggle up in front of the fire on snowy or rainy day and sunbath on the sunny on the bright summer ones. Gather around the campfire for s’mores and reminisce about your days on and around the lake. Take advantage of the community amenities like the quiet, low traffic roads perfect for evening or morning walks, the catch and release pond, and swimming area. Back at the home, who will be the first to enjoy the bubbles of the hot tub after your busy day and who will reign as the air hockey champion during your stay? ACCESS DETAILS:
Lake access is located along Piney Point Dr. While this home does not come with dock access, dock slips are available to rent on a first come first serve basis through the Sky Valley Community Association for an additional fee of $15/day or $100/week. Please note that docks are only guaranteed from Memorial Day through Labor Day.

Thank you for the use of this lovely home. Me, my husband and our three kids stayed this week. My dad also came for a couple days. We used the sky valley beach which the kids and all of us loved. My son couldn't get enough of the fishing pond. We cooked here and we ate at a bunch of places. We rented a boat and also swam in the falls. Randomly chose this cabin and our friends are the neighbors - they live down the lane!

I had an amazing time at this cabin! it was perfectly as described and so pretty and cozy in person. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the beds were so comfortable. I loved staying here with my family, it was the perfect getaway! The only thing to mention is how small the TV is but otherwise the cabin was a 10/10. Check in was super easy & we were able to have a late checkout for an extra fee. So worth it! Such a great experience with Railey’s Vacations. I definitely recommend this place.

Beautiful clean home and setting with well equipped kitchen. Team was responsive to maintenance requests. The booking documentation was a bit burdensome. I have traveled the world and never had to fill out such extensive forms and review pages of terms.

This was a great place to stay. Quiet, but close enough to other places to not feel like you’re alone in the middle of nowhere. Plenty of space, nice and clean. Hot tub was great and very clean and easy to use. The only downside is there is only 1 tv in the house and it is in the basement (which was nice, but a bit removed when you’ve got kids sleeping upstairs)

We loved our time at this home. It was comfortable, pretty, and surrounded by glorious trees in a beautifully green, quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed the hot tub, dinners on the deck, cooking in the well-stocked kitchen, and being so close to the dock and swim area. We've been coming to Deep Creek Lake for 19 summers, and this location was one of our favorites.

This house met our every need. The kids loved the basement and the additional games were perfect! The hot tub was great. The adults enjoyed the fireplace and quiet sitting area upstairs. There were enough beds and bedrooms for our group of 8. We enjoyed some cooking at home but also enjoyed the many restaurants close by. This house was a little farther away from Wisp than we have stayed in the past but it was nice to get away from the hustle and bustle of that area as well. After the first time driving to Wisp, the drive there didn't seem far at all. We would definitely recommend.

Our family spent Christmas weekend at Lighthearted Lodge and enjoyed the house very much. It was the first white Christmas we've had in a long time so that was an added bonus. The house was nicely decorated and had a warm and cozy feel!

The Lighthearted Lodge was in a nice location and was decorated cute. The hot tub was a major bonus! However, I have two minor complaints: finding where to leave the trash was a treasure hunt all its own, and the cobwebs and dust (especially in the shower and the kitchen window) were a little off-putting. I am obsessively clean, so this may not be something that bothers everyone. As far as the trash, where to dispose of it was buried in the rental agreement and was time consuming to figure out. Maybe leaving a note by the door for trash disposal instructions or something would be more effective.

House was adequate and on the newer side. The neighbor has built a building looking directly into the living room and drapes on the sliding glass doors would be a wonderful idea.

Absolutely stay here! We had a fantastic trip in January and we are looking forward to another stay. The air hockey kept our boys entertained for hours. After we shoveled the snow and ice off of and leading to the hot tub it was wonderful as well. One note, there are 3 queen beds and no doubles as noted in the listing. Everything was perfectly clean but we had brought our own sheets that ended up not fitting.

New home in a peaceful setting away from it all. Located in a quieter part of Deep Creek, this house is new and inviting inside and out. Large deck, plenty of places to sit for eating or playing games together. Lake access is a short drive away where we launched our SUPs in a calm part of the lake.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful, new home. The finishes are beautiful, the loft and open feel is inviting, and the basement adds a whole other place to spend time as well. Whileit doesn’t have a private dock, the community docks were great, a quick 3 min drive and you’re there. Sand entry or stairs off of the docks. The hot tub at this home is spacious and so very relaxing. We had a great time and hope to rebook in the future. Thanks for sharing your home with us!
