So this property is positioned as a very high-end property. The pictures make it look fantastic. But I think that they inadvertently or possibly deliberately leave out the fact that this house is on a very steep hillside. There's stairs everywhere, in and out. When you walk in the front door, you have to go downstairs to get to the living level and then back up to get to the kitchen. So you're always going up and down stairs. And then, the pictures make it look like it's fairly level outside, but it is absolutely not. I really don't feel that the rental rate for this unit is worth what is delivered. Yes, it was recently renovated, but I feel like they did typical or big box retailer finishes, but they're charging for premium experience rental rate. Don't get me wrong, the view is spectacular and the house shows well, but after a few days the other aspects really stood out to us.

We had the most beautiful weekend at your lakehouse. It was a true (and much-needed) escape that brought so much joy to our family. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with peace, comfort and the kind of charm that only a home full of love can offer. The kids and grandkids had an absolute blast! Whether it was splashing in the pool, playing games, or making s'mores under the stars, every moment was filled with laughter and memories that we will cherish forever. For us, drinking coffee by the lake was nothing short of magical. There is something about that view - that stillness and serenity that touches the soul. The house was perfect for our family stay for size, location and amenities. We experienced an issue with the pool HVAC system. They had prior knowledge of the unit needing a part but failed to inform us ahead of time. They reacted quickly when we called and provided some fans. The plug in the pool room was not a GFI and showed some heat damage. Another issue we had was with the HVAC for the house with the basement being too cold and the 2nd floor bedrooms too hot. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would vacation there again assuming the issues were resolved. Railey did accommodate us for the inconvenience.

Very well appointed home. Amenities are endless for kids up to adults. The home is very spacious allowing large groups to maintain some privacy/quiet time if desired. A lot of stairs down to a very nice dock. The home itself has multiple stair transitions which may be less desirable for elders but worked just fine for our multiple toddlers. Take home - meets or exceeds all expectations for a larger group. Will strongly consider when we return to DCL!

Beautiful large home with nice furnishings and bedding. Kids loved the pool and hot tub. Does have some steps in kitchen and living room if you have elderly guests. Otherwise, not a problem.
