DESCRIPTION:
Nestled in a beautiful cove along central Deep Creek Lake, this cozy chalet is the perfect lake escape for your family! With two large decks- featuring a dining area and seating for ten- a large yard, private dock and a picnic table by the lake, there is ample space to enjoy the outdoors! Soak up the sun by fishing, boating, swimming, or sunbathing by the lakefront. Spend your days on the water, and evenings in the hot tub or gathered around the outdoor fire pit. Relax inside in the great room around the fire or in the lower den watching movies or shooting a game of pool. At Lake Effect, you are assured of a comfortable vacation and exciting new memories in this spacious three-level lake chalet. Come and experience the Lake Effect!

This property comes with private lake access and a private dock slip located at the property. Please note that docks are only guaranteed from Memorial Day through Labor Day.

This home comes with free access to the Community Aquatic Recreation Center (CARC)! This fitness and wellness complex, located in the central Deep Creek Lake area, offers a modern gym and a full-size indoor pool. The free CARC passes are available to all guests in the home for the duration of your stay, up to the home’s full occupancy.

We thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to Deep Creek at Lake Effect! This was our Christmas family vacation and it did not disappoint! The home was warm, decorated with a bear theme, and well-appointed with anything we needed. The views of the lake and trees were beautiful from the great room with floor to ceiling windows and skylights. It was a quiet neighborhood and we even heard a wolf and a bear! Our dogs loved vacationing with us and visiting Swallow Falls State Park. The extras such as the free CARC access, hot tub, and firewood were wonderful. The pool table was great fun! Our boys didn't want to leave and hope to return this summer. Thank you for sharing your lovely home with our family. We made memories to last a lifetime!

Place was perfect! Beautiful views of the lake. Cozy accommodations. My family & I had so much fun going to the restaurants that were recommended & hanging out at the house shooting pool & playing cards. The fire pit was wonderful in the evening after sitting in the hot tub. Thank you - we would love to visit again!

Lake Effect - nice location on the lake, good for small group

Overall this house is comfortable for a group of 4-6pm. It was clean when we arrived and it has a nice layout - small living area going out to the deck and the basement also has a pool table and hang out space going out to the lower deck and hot tub. The hot tub is great - large enough and situated with a lovely view of the lake and the large back lawn. The kitchen is tiny and you walk right into it from the front door - it’s fine if you have only one person cooking. The owners should add a garbage disposal to make the kitchen more functional and upgrade the screen doors - none of them shut properly and they all jam up easily. The main screen door to the deck completely jammed up during our stay - but Railey’s did sent maintenance right away to fix it. The location right off the lake and the private dock are the main reason we chose this house and that worked great for us. The house is about a 20 minute drive to the main grocery store and located on a quiet cove which is very pleasant.

Second rental of this property, my family likes the house and would stay again. Clean and pleasant. Plenty of room for all of us. Deck furniture is a great addition. Coffee in the morning on the deck is great. Deep Creek is truly a vacation and Lake Effect makes it a complete joy.

We loved staying at this property along with our family dogs. We brought our boat along and were able to dock right on the private dock. The dock also provided a great place to swim, sit in the sun, and enjoy the views.

The place has plenty of amenities to keep us all busy for the week. Dock, Pool table, corn hole, gaming system in basement - loads of utensils (knives need sharpening). Serene back yard with firepit where we cooked smores and marshmallows. The hot tub was divine! Watch our for mosquitos though - proximity to the water and a ton of rain the week before made them swarm!

This was a great house! Fit two families - 7 people - perfectly. Awesome view. It was a little expensive give the off season but would consider renting it again.

We booked Lake Effect to take in all the Fall foliage and boy, we were not disappointed. The house has a nice deck that overlooks the lake where we took full advantage of eating breakfast each morning. The property was big enough for our 2 dogs to run and enjoy the lawn. The house is nicely furnished with everything you need to cook in the kitchen. Very cute decor and made us feel like we were in the mountains with the 3 foot bear next to the fireplace. The fire pit and hot tub were very nice additions to our stay too. We loved it and will be back!

We traveled with family/grandkids/family Lab. House was perfect for walking dog down the quiet street in the morning/evening. Located on the water in a cove so it was perfect for playing in the lake around the dock. We used the two storage racks for our waverunners to store them out of the water when not in use- a big plus! New outdoor chairs/tables delivered the week we were there for bottom level porch and for dock area- nice too! Everyone was great to work with and responded back to my inquiries within a couple hours or sooner. We will definitely be returning to this property again with the family!

The house was well stocked and very clean. Great view and location! Having bedrooms on three separate floors was nice. Only disappointment was we were unable to use the outdoor grill because it needed to be cleaned.

We had a fun, comfortable visit in Deep Creek! This house is in a great location—a little neighborhood that’s ideal for running or walking dogs. also near a small golf course! The cove the house is located in is quiet and peaceful. Lots of beds for various sleeping arrangements. Also the grill and decks are so nice—and we loved the hot tub! If you’re looking for a place in Deep Creek with everything, this is it!

This beautiful lake front property accommodated three families with seven children under 7 years old perfectly. The yard was large enough for all of the kids activities including a bounce house and slip and slide. Our boat, kayaks, paddle boards and floats conveniently fit on and around the dock.

I had a great experience. Me and few friends went for the weekend for some girl bonding. We loved the house, the only problem we had was the deck was not shoveled. So we could not spend much time out there. It was snow on the deck and all over the chairs and table that are on the deck. Also we had a slight problem with the trash cans. One would not open and one was buried in ice from the snow, other than those two minor things, it was an awesome stay. We are looking forward to coming back in the summer.
