What a wonderful property! Hakuna Matata will be the base of your worry free vacation! Located along Glendale Road, you’ll be close to all the fun and excitement the area has to offer. Relax, unwind, and let your worries disappear while you hang out around the fire. Enjoy an evening on the deck grilling, eating, and taking in the surrounding views. Hang out in the lower den while you battle your friends and family in a game of air hockey or pool or just veg out on the plush furnishings throughout the home. Wind out the day with some personal time in one of the four king bedroom suites. This home “ain’t no passing craze” so book your stay at Hakuna Matata today!

Great Family Weekend!

Our adult children and our 3 grands had a wonderful Mother's day weekend at Hakuna Matata! Our cell cameras captured the NORTHERN LIGHTS and we were able to catch a glimpse with our very eyes - yes, in Maryland! The home is very lovely and accommodating - esp pleased that everyone had their own bathroom. Our guys enjoyed the golf course (it's how we entice them to come!) We enjoyed an outdoor "campfire" and the grands made S'mores. Had great laughs while playing "Family Feud" - a tradition, as well as "Spoons" that we played when our kids were young. The large dining table was perfect for this as well as our meals. The beds were quite comfortable as were the sofas - and there are "throws" available to cuddle in when evening comes. Everything was clean and neat upon arrival -(and we did our best to leave it that way). Oh, there are PLENTY of cups, glasses and dinner ware. Take several large kitchen trash bags, as the waste container there is rather small and we needed to empty it at least twice daily. Enjoy!

Hakuna Matata is a gorgeous, well designed home. The bedrooms are large with ensuites and just perfect for 4 couples. We used the 2 futon double beds downstairs and everyone had plenty of space. Beds were very comfortable. The house was well stocked, all the furniture was in good shape and comfortable and the table seating for 10 was perfect. It is in a great location close to the state park, river, shops. We had such a wonderful time hiking, tubing, swimming, and going on the Alpine coaster at Wisp. The owners planned out this home very well and made it so welcoming. Loved our visit!

Please replace the deck and the grill. The four master bedroom suites were perfect for four couples. The deck has several boards that make walking on it hazardous. The grill was completely unusable but Railey brought us a “loaner” grill. This home was wonderful, but wish we could have enjoyed the deck. I would recommend this home with 5 stars if the deck was replaced.

The house was really exceptional. Some cosmetic upgrades (new flooring, etc) had been done since the pictures were taken and we were pleasantly surprised. The house was very comfortable and well-appointed for our family getaway- we especially loved having 4 separate masters which gave everyone a bit of privacy if needed. The kitchen was well stocked and the appliances all worked well. There isn’t really a place to store food since the cabinets are all filled but there is plenty of counter space. We appreciated having televisions with cable and streaming abilities. The Wi-Fi also worked very well. We had quite a few devices connected and it handled everything well. We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub and the kids loved the pool table and air hockey table. We also enjoyed playing in the snow in the yard and admired the beautiful view. The house was perfect for us - we hope to visit again soon

We booked Hakuna Matata to attend a nearby wedding, and we had a great stay. The whole house was clean, the hot tub was extremely well-kept, and there was plenty of games and entertainment to keep us busy in our down time.

The house came just as pictured and was clean. It was perfect for what we wanted, a quiet weekend away with friends. The house has more than enough to keep everyone entertained. It's hard to find a space that doesn't have someone sleeping on twin or bunk beds, but this had 4 rooms with king beds & private bathrooms. It was perfect, will definitely book again!

The 4 master suites were perfect for our group. Enjoyed the privacy. Close to the 9 hole golf course, had pickleball court and area was flat for walking. Had a grass cut path down to the larger neighborhood which was very nice-easy access to amenities. Kitchen well stocked with utensils, pots and pans.

This is a great house to stay! Loved having king beds in every bedroom! The kitchen was adequately stocked. The living areas were comfortable. Nice large deck with steps to lower level! Would definitely rent again!

I would definitely recommend this home! It is a great wooded property with a view of the lake in the distance. It is well-equipped and loved the hot tub on the cooler, fall nights. The four master suites with baths are a great setup for groups of friends or multiple families.

Love to return and do it again at the same place, although we may try a lake side house next time! Railey app/reminders were perfect and timely. Loved receiving them to keep me updated and ensured I did what was needed to check-in/check-out. Pets were allowed which made life fun with our family pet. House had great features/amenities. House had ample supplies of pots/pans dishes etc. Lost of room for everyone to spread out. Only real issue was low water pressure so we staggered use of washer with our showers. We had Railey fix a couple things, that was an easy phone call and someone showed up who was very professional and took care of our issues. Great customer service from the people who fixed our frig door and hot tub!!

We just used them for the first time and could not be happier with their responsiveness and efforts to make everything right. Will absolutely use them again and recommend them to anyone! Only good vs great because I feel the communication concerning the rental could be clearer. Many documents, emails, and postings are very general. If your community has this then you might be able to do that, kind of communication. Especially with being new to DCL it would be nice for everything to be spelled out. They do have an app but it could use a lot of help. Buttons don’t consistently work and information has to be really searched for. But again, this was the only drawback.

Spent the Independence Day weekend for my birthday at this lovely property. Would love to give it 5 stars but some house defects prevents that. (Jacuzzi, Kitchen and Finding house) However, it’s spacious, beautiful view, has everything you need to have a relaxing and fun stay. :)

Beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood.

This was the perfect house for our family. Five adults and two children. We enjoyed the hot tub, the pool table and playing air hockey and making S'mores in the fire pit. The views from the back of the house are amazing.
