We celebrated our 55th wedding anniversary at the Grandview Lodge in late November with the family, we had such an amazing time with everyone under one roof. There was enough bedrooms that everyone was comfortable, the teenagers and adults really enjoyed the hot tubs, swimming pool and they even had contest going for highest scores on some of the games and team competitions on the pool table. We were also there for Thanksgiving, we took a lot of pots and pans and utensils unnecessarily because this is the most well stocked kitchen we have ever rented. I bet this place is amazing in the summer, great place to rent.

Deep Creek is a special place with many childhood memories. I had the opportunity to be there with with my immediate and extended family. The lodge offered so many amenities that each day offered something fun to do. We had one beautiful weather day and the outside chairs and dock were put to good use. On the raining days the indoor pool, billiards and video games offered entertainment. The house was very spacious for 9 adults and we had the opportunity to be together or have our own space. I loved having two refrigerators. The view from the deck is stunning . Thank you for a great family experience

This is a great house for any large family! Twenty-eight of us were there at the beginning of May to celebrate a 95th birthday - with cold & snowy weather. But with two hot tubs, a pool & sauna, pool table, plenty of room for eating and games......we had a blast! It was a perfect set-up for our large group. Highly recommend!! (Only one suggestion - have a larger step set-up for the king sized bed on the first floor. Because there were no stairs to navigate, the 95 year old was in that bed. Altho he is 6'2", getting in and out of the bed was somewhat difficult. He needed wider & more stable steps. )

This is the sixth or seventh year we have rented Grandview Lodge fka Under The Moon and the first since new owners and improvements were made. The improvements were/are very welcome and definitely appreciated (firepit, outdoor gazebo, flooring, furniture, etc.) Still additional work to be done, particularly with sliding glass doors but, all in all, a delightful stay and look forward to coming back again in 2022.

This house was amazing! The house itself was clean and spacious. Great for summer renting. The volley ball court was super fun and gave a activity to do during our down time. It is right on the lake, we rented a boat for the day and was able to to drive right up to our pier and pick up our friends. I would def rent this house again next year. The only two down sides were with the big windows on the main floor the sun shined right in causing it to be hot during the day. Also the details say there is a pull out sofa bed which it did not have. Looks like they upgraded the couch to reclining couches instead. Overall a great stay!

Since all the adults were fully vaccinated, we celebrated my dad's 95th birthday. The house was great and we all had a good time. Last month we stayed at a home rented by Taylor-Made which was disgustingly dirty and had unethical review procedures. Stick with Railey Vacations. You'll be glad you did!

The house set up was great. Plenty of rooms. We had a great time and it was very close to Wisp. The kitchen was not equipped very well for the amount of people it can house. There were a total of 8 forks to use. We also thought that it needs a really good cleaning. The dishes felt dirty when we took them out of the cabinets. We had to wash everything before using. It is still a great house just needs a little tlc.

We needed a change of scenery. With Covid keeping everyone (school and work) remote, this was a great respite from 8 months of the same 4 walls! The house's amenities (pool, hot tub, pool table, arcades, air hockey, gorgeous grounds and lake front) made this the perfect getaway everyone needed. We felt safe and clean, and everyone got a bit of a break!

We rented 8/2020. Our family loved the house! The kitchen is amazing, the views are amazing, swimming pool and sauna both great amenities we used and enjoyed. The deck was a great place to sit all day and night. The volleyball was a daily bonus the kids loved to play. We swam and enjoyed the fire pit and hot tubs! There was always something to do at grand view and we will hope to return again next year

Being a first time renter in Deep Creek I wasn't sure what to expect. The Grandview Lodge exceeded my expectations in every way possible including the beautifully updated kitchen, large and comfortable bedrooms, volleyball court, cleanliness, activities, and location were all top of the line.

I rented this house for a birthday trip with a few friends and it was incredible. The indoor pool was great for guests who didn’t want to ski. The hot tubs were amazing! And the house in general was so beautiful and spacious even with 19 guests. I would 100% recommend this house! My friends and I are already talking about renting again later this year.

This was our second year at this property, which we like for its excellent location. What a nice surprise to find that new owners have begun some much needed improvements. In addition to some new furnishings, appliances and “televisions that work”  there were also new entertainment options - a foosball table and several arcade games. Our 7, 8, and 11-year-olds thoroughly enjoyed them - cousins bonding over video games! We also enjoyed the functional fire pit on a cool October evening. We have rented several properties in the area over the years and this is now our favorite “go to” in the area. Great house in a perfect location. Plenty of room for family to be together, but also have privacy when desired.

This was our 14th Autumn Glory family weekend and this house was spectacular. The view was amazing and water access perfect for anyone with a boat or kayak. The new owners just updated the kitchen and it was beautifully done. The appliances are all new and having 2 dishwashers was really convenient. The fire pit and Adirondack chairs made for a great s'mores experience and the kids loved having 2 hot tubs so that everyone could have a chance to "unwind". We'll definitely come back when we get the chance.

Exceeded expectations. Great views from the main floor. Plenty of space. Awesome amenities including indoor pool, beach volleyball, fire pit, pool table. House was clean and neat on arrival. Highly recommend this property.

This is a great house to stay in with a mass amount of amenities. Everything was extremely clean upon arrival and very minimal issues maintenance wise. Thank you for the opportunity to stay with you again. We truly enjoyed ourselves.

Beautiful home and property

Our extended family of 19 had a fantastic stay at Under the Moon! We weren’t sure what to expect of a lake vacation (we usually go to the ocean) but we were pleasantly surprised. There was plenty of space and the kitchen facilities were great. Having a private dock was key. We rented a pontoon boat during our stay which was a huge hit. The volleyball court and large yard provided plenty of space for competitive games and playtime. Having the indoor pool was essential for the little ones and the hot tubs were an extra bonus. We also enjoyed the fire pit as the evenings were quite cool. Everyone we dealt with at Railey Vacations was great to work with. We had a couple of maintenance issues which were addressed promptly. Two recommendations - a few wooden/kitchen chairs for attaching booster seats, and more comfy seating in the living room (the couch cushions were in bad shape). That aside, we had a wonderful time and a very memorable vacation.
