Exceeding Expectations

Any property that has a specific, dedicated place to access the water for swimming or a boat dock (if applicable). The property owner does not own the access area. You may be able to walk to the water or you may need to drive to the area, depending on the particular property. Most Lake Access areas are designated by the community or HOA.

Any participating property that offers a state park pass (1 pass for homes with 1-3 bedrooms or 2 passes for homes with 4-6 bedrooms). Each pass will allow 1 car-load of people to access Deep Creek Lake State Park, Herrington Manor State Park, New Germany State Park, and Swallow Falls State Park. Passes are seasonal and only available with reservations booked during the summer weeks (Memorial Day – Labor Day). Please note that these passes include access to Swallow Falls State Park; however, as of May 23, 2026, visitors to Swallow Falls State Park will need advance day-use reservations on weekends, and holidays (Memorial Day - Labor Day).
