This home comes with free access to the Community Aquatic Recreation Center (CARC)! This fitness and wellness complex, located in the central Deep Creek Lake area, offers a modern gym and a full-size indoor pool. The free CARC membership is available to all guests in the home for the duration of your stay, up to the home’s full occupancy.

View from the deck is impressive. The home reflects what you see in the pictures on the listing. We appreciated all of the king beds and the large empty pantry in the kitchen. The entire house is spacious. The kitchen is well appointed with cooking tools and dinnerware. The hot tub was well maintained. We loved the large table with seating for 10 because we could all eat together. We did not utilize the lake access area. We also did not go to the pool because it is not walkable. I had assumed that it would be from the listing. The deck is huge and has ample seating but could use some love. We were worried to have the little ones out there in bare feet because it needs to be sanded and re-stained. We used both the gas and charcoal grills. It’s nice that they are right on the deck which made for easy back-and-forth from the kitchen. A big negative for us was the garbage situation. This is the first time that we have stayed in a home where there weren’t garbage bins on the property. You need to drive garbage to the pool area where there are large dumpsters.

The house was spacious. We appreciated all of the king beds. The kitchen has a large pantry which allowed us to organize our food and leave the counters open for meal prep. The deck has an amazing view We used both the gas and charcoal grills. It’s not listed on the amenities, but there is a mini fridge in the wet bar on the lower level. Kitchen was well stocked with cook ware and dinner ware. The refrigerator was big and seemed to be new. Gaming table was fun. We had campfires nearly all weekend. It said that firewood would not be supplied in the summer but there was plenty. We enjoyed the hot tub and cornhole. Welcome supplies (toilet paper, bathroom soap, etc) were above average for rentals. The dining table seats 10 which meant that we could all sit together. The only true negative is the garbage situation. There are no cans on the property. Garbage needs to be taken to the dumpsters near the pool. That is a little over 1/2 mile from this property so you will need to drive it there. This is true for the entire community where this home is located.

This home was fantastic all around! The home was beautiful, well-furnished, clean and in a gorgeous neighborhood. The kitchen had everything you needed for cooking a meal. The pool table and gaming systems in the lower level made for fun evenings! The view from the deck was fabulous and the screened-in side porch was a great place to relax during the rainy times. Our family of four (plus our dog) thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The gated community was picturesque with quiet roads that we walked daily. The community pool was well maintained and a nice bonus. We enjoyed our time outside in the hot tub and making s'mores at the firepit. We've now stayed at 10 different properties in Deep Creek and this is the one that we'd come back to again!

House and view were gorgeous. Nice quiet neighborhood and close to shopping and restaurants. Exactly as described. We had six on our trip and had a wonderful time. We are going back next year!

The Chubby Bunny Lodge was exactly what we had hoped for with our big family vacation. The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and ready for us on arrival. There were 2 living rooms so we could have different spaces for different activities during the days and evenings. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you could ever need to make dinner for 13 people. We used the stove, oven, griddle and grill. We used the hot tub and had a bonfire. I appreciate that the house was decorated with woodsy wall art and they still left all the counters and other flat surfaces open for us to use. My family really took advantage of the included CARC membership and the Community area. We swam 3 times and played pickleball about 5 times. We had a great vacation and The Chubby Bunny Lodge was the perfect home for us!

The house itself was as advertised but it is obviously older than the pictures. It was pleasantly clean and there were no cleanliness concerns. All of the appliances were clean and functioned as expected.

Location is great Home size was perfect. Main floor suite , two upstairs suites and bunk bed room and another bedroom in walkout basement. Unfortunately.., House needs repair . Deck needs stain along with deck chairs. House was very dirty

Love the views from the back porch. We had a family of deer come up everyday and just watch us. The kitchen had everything plus more. More than enough room for everyone to hang out. The kids loved the pool table , corn hole and the hot tub. We also played some of the family games.

Great family getaway at Deep Creek/Chubby Bunny

This was our family's first visit to Deep Creek and we had a great time. Chubby Bunny was the perfect size for our family - 10 ppl. the house was clean & well stocked. it was a short walk to the community center (pool & Tennis Courts) and short drive to lake access for boat rentals. We loved the deck space that Chubby Bunny Offered and the kids enjoyed the games in the basement. we will be back next Summer!

Great place overall. Lots of usable space and comfortable. Could use some TLC, however: busted screens, broken chairs in dining area and we had to jury-rig to charcoal grill to use it. Nicely equipped kitchen.

Great house with plenty of space. Very well stocked and organized kitchen, plenty of sitting space, great number of bathrooms and bedrooms to accommodate all guests. Great for a large group of 10+. The lake community/property management was responsive and helpful when trying to request late check-out and provided great details about entering, items needed, and check-out instructions.

Great house for a group our size. We all enjoyed our stay, and loved the privacy and lake view. The house is nicely furnished. We cleaned surfaces when we arrived as they were dirty especially the dining table and stair railings. Sliding screen doors need replaced.
