Summer, Fall, Winter, Spring, this home will provide you with everything you might need, inside and out. The huge yard is perfect for anything from volleyball, soccer, tetherball, cornhole in the summer to sledding in the winter. The fire pit, hot tub, and telescope are the ultimate pairing for an evening of soothing bubbles, s’mores, campfire stories and stargazing. The community pond right in front of the house invites you for a picnic and some catch and release fishing. Inside the fun and entertainment continues. Wonderful House! This house was amazing! Literally thought of everything you need. The personal touches are the best I’ve experienced! Loved the labeling in the kitchen. Rooms are nicely decorated. Clean! Everything worked! One small issue- ladybugs/beetles and flies in the windows . Odd to see bugs as the house was very clean. Not sure why or if they’re in the wood - recommend bombing — but overall the house was amazing. Location outdoor amenities loved the yard! Sooo much for kids to do! You will not be disappointed!!!

Great location and welcoming home. Clearly care a lot about the comfort of families staying there, with ample extras for kids (books, toys, games), pets (dog beds, clean crate), and cooks (kitchen tools, pantry items salt, cooking spray, spices etc, plenty of cups and dishes).

RV was really responsive to the issues we had because of the storm so we really appreciated that. The maintenance worker and the IT people they sent were really nice and took care of the WIFI and the projector that we were having problems with! Communication was really easy and even though we had more than 4 cars, they let us park the extra at the vacation rental that they had which we appreciated because they were small cars and they were not able to get up to the hill due to the snow and ice

The house was beautiful. It felt warm and inviting and the welcome kit was a great touch. The hot tub was perfect for relaxing during the cool morning and evening hours, and the fire place was quite cozy. We would definitely book here again. 5 stars!

We stayed here from Dec. 27 2022 until Jan. 2 2023. We had a family of 5 with a dog and a family of 4 at the house and had plenty of room for all! Just minutes away from Wisp and good restaurants, we know that we will definitely be back! A beautiful house with a beautiful view on Deep Creek Lake. Easily a 5 star stay!

Great for groups/extended families!

Overall pretty great layout for our 4 families to stay with plenty of kid friendly amenities (castle room, giant teddy bear, high chairs and stokke chair, game room, projector TV, large front yard area, cute little fisher price wagons etc). We brought food to cook and ate in both days and utilized the kitchen, stove, oven, and grill which all worked great. The rain during our stay kept us indoors for most meals but the deck is very large and would also easily have fit us. The kids had a great time blowing bubbles on this deck instead (and parents didn't have to chase them all over the yard ha). The layout was great for all the different bedtimes we all had... noise didn't carry much at all between all of the levels, even from the 1st floor bedrooms to the kitchen surprisingly (where many of us were enjoying late evening libations). A few things beyond our control; no hot water (and no water at all the first night) in the master bathroom which has the largest tub- they did send someone to try to fix it, but i the end they called another vendor that didn't show up until 10am while we were checking out); long driveway for when you have to take out the trash (detailed instructions but plan accordingly!);

Chalet Alpenglow is a beautiful home on a beautiful hill with the best view!! This home has everything you need for your vacation. Close to grocery stores and local attractions. We visit Deep Creek Lake every summer for our family vacation. I believe we have found our yearly vacation spot! We will be booking again for Winter 2023.

The family including our furry friend had an awesome time at Chalet Alpenglow over Memorial Day weekend. The home was very clean. The kids adored the "castle room." The kitchen had tons of dishware, glasses, and cookware. The drawers with kitchen tools were labeled and everything we would ever need was there. The view was so beautiful we didn't even want to leave! And the hot tub was the perfect way to wind down the day. Highly recommend staying at this lovely property.

We truly loved our stay at this beautiful home. We met our extended family, who had traveled from Ohio. The house had everything we needed, and there were so many little wonderful touches that made our stay extra special.Our pups loved the dog toys, bed and blankets. We were in awe of the view each night, and enjoyed it from the hot tub. We also enjoyed s’mores by the fire pit. This was our first vacation with our family, our parents and our sister and her family. We will certainly cherish the memories we made during our stay.

Alpenglow is a great retreat that is closer to the lake and other amenities than the mileage suggests. Everything we needed was less than a 5 minute drive away and there was plenty of space for the kids to play and adults to relax. I would recommend this house for any families looking for a long weekend retreat.

This home is absolutely amazing! It has everything you need, EVERYTHING! It’s very cozy and spacious, has everything labeled with cute little signs everywhere and the view is unmatched! If you’re staying in the winter months I would definitely recommend having an AWD or else you won’t be able to make it up the long steep driveway. They explain that in the reservation but we must’ve missed it so don’t make the same mistake we did! Thanks for sharing this wonderful home, we will definitely be back!

Spacious home has everything for a wonderful stay! Our family of 12 plus an infant enjoyed every moment at Chalet Alpenglow. We loved sledding down the front hill, warming up in the hot tub, making s’mores around the fire pit, watching movies on the projection screen, playing foos ball and playing board games. We left the house only once to go tubing at Wisp. We had one issue with the driveway lights not working. Maintenance responded quickly but was unable to get the lights turned on. The dishwasher was not working which was a major inconvenience but we were fairly compensated. Overall, we would recommend this home and we would return to this home.

We needed a get-away for my family of 5 and 2 dogs. The photos of the kids room caught our eye and the location proximity to Wisp, but little did we know we found a HOME-RUN! The owners of this house have thought of everything. They have the house so well stocked in the kitchen, extra beddings, even beds for our dogs, games, movies, books. We could not have found a better house! It was SO CLEAN! We will definitely be returning! Thank you Chalet Apenglow for the memories you helped us make!

Chalet Alpenglow was the best AirBnB experience I have had yet. Check in was incredibly simple and straightforward with the use of mobile key code delivery, and communication through the realty group managing the property was prompt and helpful. Home itself is beautiful, massive, and provided everything we could need. Excellent kitchen space with all the tools we needed to feed our large group. Home is close to many amenities and local spots. Plenty of thoughtful touches, board games, puzzles, and books to keep us occupied when indoors. Absolutely incredible home, and contained all the amenities we needed for our stay. House is beautifully kept and maintained, and staff was incredibly supportive and helpful. Check in process is easy and simple. No complaints!!

This property is amazing! Beautiful inside and out! We all enjoyed the games, movies, extra blankets, books and comfy couches and beds. This property has so many extra amenities and a well stocked kitchen. The owners were a pleasure to work with. We will definitely be back!!!

The house is very clean and welcoming! The owners have small little fun things through the house, be sure to find all the stars! The well stocked kitchen allowed us to enjoy a large homemade breakfast! The outside table and deck allowed for us to enjoy a potluck dinner and watch the sunset, beautiful! We closed out the night around the fire pit and shared many laughs! Highly recommended a visit to Chalet Alpenglow if your visiting the Deep Creek Lake area! It will not disappoint! I visited the Chapet Alpenglow with 9 of my friends and a dog for a weekend and we all had a great time. We enjoyed the various amenities that the place had to offer - Xbox 360, Badminton, Firepit, Hot tub, board games; the house is very spacious and was especially a delight for our NY dog. I personally liked the idea of checking in and out via the Happy Stays X App. We had some trouble with the hot tub and the wifi but the host was quick to respond and send help as well - was very well appreciated. The only thing which would have made the trip better for us is if the host would allow us to check out an hour late. Would have given us more time to say our goodbyes as we had friends meeting up after years. I thoroughly recommend the place for larger groups who are looking for a chill weekend in a great house with a fantastic view as well. I planned a girls weekend to celebrate my sister’s 50th Bday. The process was seamless and the house we rented was gorgeous! It met our needs and was comfortable and welcoming. The fully stocked kitchen allowed for us to create a huge breakfast, we enjoyed the outdoor seating on the deck for the remainder of the day and finished out the night around the fire pit. I highly recommend!

View was amazing. Beds/pillows were amazing. Got great night sleep…even our 6 week old baby slept through the night. My husband and 9 yr old loved the basement set up w/games and projection screen.

Thank you for making our special long weekend so easy to enjoy and have a wonderful time. We have rented many houses over the years but have never been at one that was so perfectly stocked with everything visitors may need. The kids had a blast playing and loved the castle room! Great view...great house. We'll be back!

Chalet Alpenglow is great. Located minutes from the lake. Gym/pool access was greatly appreciated due to a bad weather week.
