Cedar Shores Villa #01 - Sunset Vista is a spacious lakefront townhome with so much to offer! Perfectly located in the northern area of Deep Creek, this home is just steps from the water! The deck and private balcony allow you to unwind with unfiltered lake views or even take an evening to watch the gorgeous sunset. This home is also perfectly located in central Deep Creek where you can adventure to Deep Creek Fun Zone, Monkey Business Adventure Park, or many other local shops, restaurants, and other attractions. You will never have a dull moment at Sunset Vista!

The house was very nice but needed a bit of sprucing up. No comfortable chairs in main room, no chairs in bedrooms. Only 1 towel and washcloth per person for a whole week. Kitchen was very nice. Had everything we needed. Patio furniture was very nice but needed a table. TVs were very nice. With a little bit of work this home could be very, very nice but it is a very small house for the 11 people we had in our group.

The home was beautiful, clean, open and well stocked, yet allowed space for us to settle in with our food, games and all of our gear for skiing. There are such incredibly beautiful views from so many areas of the home. I love that you can see the ski slopes from the house. Wisp was easy to navigate, with restaurants and local stores right there as well. I loved we could be together in the main floor area and that the home also allowed for privacy and space when needed, as there were times when some watched a movie while others played games. This was our first visit to the area and we will definitely be back for both winter and summer activities. Thank you for hosting our family! We had an absolute blast!

My family and friends had a great week in this house. The boat slip was convenient, can't beat the lakefront views (unimpeded by trees), wifi was fast and stable, and the house was clean and well-equipped/furnished. We would definitely come back!

Very nice unit. great location. Boy was the refrigerator in bad shape. Crisper drawers all broken. And freezer ice maker, ice cubes fall straight to the ground.

This home is gorgeous, well-appointed, and very convenient to all stores and dining options with some even being walkable! The kitchen is well stocked for cooking any meal of the day and making drinks of all sorts. The furnishings are on the higher end of the spectrum when you compare them to surrounding homes. Additionally, the boat slip is very convenient behind the home and has one of the best slips the community has to offer. However, the cleaning of this property was very lousy. Not only was the home very dusty, but we found women's hair in bedsheets, shower walls, and a sink bowl. I also stepped on a small earring from a previous renter that would have easily been vacuumed up if run over. It's important to note that during our first stay in this property in the Winter of 2020 there were no issues with cleanliness whatsoever. The only reason I did not contact Railey during this recent stay with my concerns is I did not want the property owners to incur another cleaning fee. I am looking forward to staying in this home again, I just hope the home is going to be cleaner next time.

This 5 bdrm TH is right on the water and is nicely appointed. The rooms and beds were nice. A few minor complaints: Too many pots and pans, many in bad shape. They need to stop collecting utensils and pots and pans and just keep the good ones. No one needs 25 pots and pans or steak knives, especially when several were damaged or burned. The dryer lint trap was packed with lint. A few shade cords did not allow shades to be lowered all the way. These are minor issues. Overall, this is a nice place.

Our family really enjoyed our stay at Cedar Shores #1. We were SO glad we chose the lakefront condo - The other ones across the street basically had the hot tub right next to the road. The condo was large and very open concept. It was just the four of us but would definitely be great for larger groups.

Our group of 11 enjoyed the location of this property. Everything went smooth and it was easy. Awesome view of the slopes and watching the snowmobiles out in the lake. As a former owner of a vacation rental at dcl - I can tell you this place was set up well. Two masters on the top level, one bedroom in the middle and two in the lower. It’s around a 3k square foot townhome! Just book it!

I'm actually staying in this unit right now. I am so pleased with my stay so far that I just booked a week in August 2021. I have stayed in numerous Cedar Shores units and this unit is by far the best. It's evident the owners have spent significant money on updating this unit by reconfiguring the kitchen, adding the windows on the side of the living room, and the furnishings. The unit is clean, well appointed, and has a great view. I strongly encourage anyone reading this to consider this unit for their vacation! To the owners: I appreciate all the work you have put into this unit. Also, the Christmas Tree is a very nice touch!

This unit has a stunning, unobstructed, panoramic lake view. The five bedrooms, and four baths with two masters positioned on three floors offered ample room for large families to spread out. The inside was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked with pots, dishes, glassware, two coffee makers (Keurig and regular), silverware, kitchen towels/cloths and pot holders; also had a large wine refrigerator. There were plenty of bath towels, hand towels, and washcloths. The main level appeared to be recently renovated and the entire house was extremely comfortable. The fireplaces are a nice addition on chilly nights. -From a negative standpoint, the bedroom closets were filled with the owner’s personal items (including dining chairs). Some were so full there was little space to store multiple suitcases and hanging clothing. The decks were spotted with mold, need power washing and multiple burned-out light bulbs should be replaced. The biggest issue was the broken latch on the lower level sliding door that did not lock properly. Because this was at grade, it did detract from our security comfort level. There was one unusual thing that bothered us the most. We arrived in Deep Creek around noon to get lunch and familiarize ourselves with the area. Thinking the prior guests had checked out at 10am, we stopped to see the house. To our surprise, there were still people in the home and we discovered that it was the owner and a large group. When we returned at 4pm, the house was still being cleaned and we learned from neighbors that they did not leave until 2:30pm. This was not only very inhospitable, but our check-in time was delayed. The cleaning people were rushed, but they still did an amazing job, plus the inside was spotless. In this new era of Covid-19, people want to be reassured that the proper sanitizing procedures are being followed and there should be ample time for this. In fact, we booked the house because of the uncertainty regarding the airlines and hotel rooms. However, we had a wonderful time and the access to the lake was excellent. The unit is in McHenry, close to restaurants, shopping, and water sports. The Aquatic Center was a great place to rent a pontoon for the day, with a great staff and equipment. We would definitely rent this property again, assuming the issues above are addressed.
