Cabin Fever is a spacious and accommodating home for big groups/families. We stayed with a group of ten; 6 adults and 4 kids between the ages of 2 and 6. There was plenty of space in the kitchen, living, and dining areas and the bedrooms were very comfortable as well. The kitchen had about every appliance, big and small, that you could need and everything was clean and in good condition. This is definitely a kid friendly house. There aren't many items that kids can get into or break and baby gates can easily be affixed to the stairs (baby gates are not included with the house) to assure safety. In addition, the home came with a pack and play and high chair as well as many items that makes being away from home with a toddler easier. We enjoyed using the fire pit area as well but be aware that the rope fencing is not sturdy and some parts have a 4 foot drop - we loved being able to have a fire at night but care needs to be taken with kids around the edge of that area. The indoor pool was clutch on rainy days or days when we didn't feel like venturing out and the depth was very manageable for the older kids. Everything was in good working order during our stay but minor hiccups were handled promptly by Railey and their maintenance crew. This was our second time renting from them and we will definitely be returning customers!

Very family friendly house with lots of games, bed rail, pack and play. My toddler loved it here. Also the kitchen has great appliances including a kitchen aid which made baking a cake super easy!

Very nice home. The layout of the main living area is great and perfect for entertaining. We loved the wood burning fireplace and the pool table right off the main living room (usually if there is a pool table it is downstairs in a game room, so it was nice to have it close to the kitchen and main living room). The kitchen was very well equipped - better than many other houses we've rented in the past. It's nice that four of the five bedrooms have en suite bathrooms, although there isn't really a "primary bedroom" with a large sink/vanity and a large shower. The largest bathroom in the home (with a double sink/vanity, jetted tub and separate shower) was oddly off the entrance foyer and not connected to any bedroom. Our guess is that one of the layout options for that home would have the pool table room as the primary bedroom, which could be connected to that large bathroom and the door to the foyer would not be there. We also loved the fire pit area on the property, and the large hot tub. The home is also very private. The lot is wooded and there are no close neighbors. And we loved having the ability to bring our fur babies with us. We'll definitely consider renting this home again in the future.

We had another Wonderful time in Deep Creek Lake! This is our fourth year and we brought some extras with us this year to show off the area!Our friends and my sister could not say enough about the house and Deep Creek Lake! The house is as depicted, though there is an issue with the basement flooring. We notified the Railey team and they said they would take care of the issue so hopefully the next guests did not have the concern.Other than that, the furniture, bedrooms, deck and fire pit were comfortable, cozy and we truly enjoyed our stay!! The kitchen is fully appointed with everything you need!! Thank you for allowing us to share this home, we'll be back next fall for another Deep Creek Lake adventure!!

Great stay at Cabin Fever

We had a wonderful stay at Cabin Fever during our trip to Deep Creek! The house lives up to the photos and was very comfortable for our large family group. Lots of space to hang out on the main level without feeling like we were on top of each other. Well equipped kitchen with plenty of cookware, dishes, etc. including kids plates/bowls/silverware. The house also had a pack n play and booster chair which were helpful for our 1 year old (these aren't listed on the amenity list, so we actually brought our own and then discovered that they already had them there). We had a few minor maintenance issues (ie, slow flushing toilet) that Railey immediately fixed upon our request (literally within 2 hours). The hot tub is nice, appears to be new and well maintained. We had a great stay and would recommend this house to others looking for a Deep Creek getaway!

Such a beautiful home! We really enjoyed our stay & highly recommend this home! Only suggestion would be to bring your own cornhole boards as the ones that are there are badly warped, and there aren’t any horseshoes. Definitely not a major issue, but just in case you planned on using either, you’ll need to bring your own. One of the downstairs bedrooms is only a double bed, again not a major issue just something that needs updated in the description. We had an issue with the hot water and Railey took care of it within a few hours. Overall an absolute wonderful & relaxing family vacation & we can’t wait to come back!

My family and I spent 5 days in February. The house was perfect for us. Plenty of room for everyone . Something to do for all of us. The family and dining area had plenty of room for all of us to eat together and play games around the wood fireplace. My grandson enjoyed the basketball net. The location was perfect for us as well. We have been going to Deep Creek for the last 4 years., Cabin Fever has been the best house for our needs. We plan on booking it again next year. We all enjoyed the fire pit. The neighborhood was nice for our daily walks with dog. Definitely a great time.

Rented this house to meet up with relatives 1/2 way between our house and theirs. This house was exactly as shown in the photos and was just perfect! I highly recommend it! Hope to stay here again sometime :-)

Cabin Fever was a beautiful, warm, and cozy house. It was very clean and had everything we needed. The fire pit was enjoyed by all and we certainly appreciated the lights around the fire pit. . The house is only 10 minutes from the swimming pool and Swallows Falls was not much farther. My only suggestion would be to add televisions to the bedrooms that don’t have any. We would definitely rent this home again.

This house has a ton to do, plenty of games, pool table, table soccer, ping pong, a basketball net outside, a cute little hideaway with a fire pit and corn hole. There is no way to get bored here. Basement is a little chilly "for August" and the top floor was a little too hot, but over all great house.
