DESCRIPTION:
Breathe easy and relax with a stay at this cozy lakefront home! Located just minutes from the State Park and everything that Deep Creek Lake has to offer. Enjoy coffee on the deck in the morning before heading out on the boat to explore the local area. Spend fall days hiking the trails of the state park and checkout the Discovery Center with the kiddos. When evening rolls around, gather around the fire pit and enjoy s’mores and campfire stories before hopping in the hot tub for a soak in the bubbles. As winter comes around, curl up in the living room in front of the stone fireplace with a good book, and a cup of hot coco as fresh snow blankets the ground outside. With fresh snow on the ground and blue skies above, head out to Wisp Resort for a day on the slopes! Nice cozy house on one end of Deep Creek lake and very close to the State Park entrance. Clean rooms, cozy furniture, private pier great for kayaking or fishing and very nice and friendly neighbors. We went during Oct ‘23 Fall season with a group of 12 with 5 families in the mix and everyone had sufficient space to adjust and be comfortable.The few troubles we encountered were the wood for the fireplace was damp so we couldn’t set up a bonfire to enjoy on the night we arrived and it rained all day next day. The stovetop was a bit difficult to control wherein it went over or under with the heating even with small tweaks so that led to a few cooking disasters at times and the grill was low on propane though that was manageable as we had little to grill. In retrospect though, the place is pretty good for a small weekend trip away with a group.

We had a great stay at Breathe Easy. Check-in and check-out were easy. The neighborhood was quiet (in February). The house was comfortable and spacious with a nice view of the lake. The beds were comfy and the rain shower in the primary bathroom was a nice touch! The kids loved the pool table, foosball and air hockey. The hot tub was a hit, too! The basement was a bit cold -- bring slippers! Overall, we really enjoyed it!

We stayed at this house over new year's weekend, when there was snow on the ground and the lake was partially frozen over. Despite the icy conditions, accessing the house was a breeze and we stayed nice and warm inside! The hot tub was in perfect working condition and excellent for relaxing after a long day of skiing at nearby Wisp Resort. All of the rooms were clean and all of the appliances worked as described. The kitchen table even has a removable leaf which was great for having a large space at meals and a smaller space for playing cards or board games. The neighboring houses are rather close on either side, but we never had an issue with privacy or noise. I was especially impressed with the master bathroom's rain shower, and the overall water pressure throughout the house. The wifi bandwidth was more than capable of handling eleven guests and the surround-sound system in the living room was a pleasant surprise for watching movies and listening to music. Overall, no complaints. Although I can't speak to summer conditions, I can safely say this house is a must-stay for winter vacations. Thank you to the hosts for everything!
