With spruce logs brought from Yellowstone National Park as part of a salvage program, this home is truly one-of-a-kind at Deep Creek Lake. The private and secluded outdoor space marries to a superbly appointed interior for a wonderful place to lay your head, lift your feet, and enjoy the beauty of Deep Creek! Whether you are gathering inside or out there is space and entertainment for everyone. Open living spaces, plush beds, a stunning wood fireplace on the main level, gas fireplace on the lower level, and a loft workspace (perfect for teleworking!) adorn the inside of the home while an expansive deck, jaw-dropping meadow views, and beautifully stamped patio with a hot tub await outside. Not enough for you? Hook up your phone to the Bluetooth speakers to add the perfect music to any situation inside or outside the home. Or travel down to the lake access to launch your kayak, canoe or paddle-board in the serene no-wake cove on Deep Creek Lake. Have a picnic by the water before returning home and watching for wildlife along the way. Just 15 minutes to the main hub of the lake, Bracken Lodge is the perfect place if you are looking for a private retreat still close to all the action of the area!

ACCESS DETAILS: 
This home’s lake access is a flat area and a path, on the left of Traci Lane between Bracken Dr and Orchard Dr, that leads down to the lake where you can paddle board, kayak, and launch other non-motorized vessels into the lake. Motorized vessels (boats, jet skis, etc.) are not permitted at this location. No Dock Slip. You can walk to the lake access via the path off the driveway or you can drive and park your vehicle in the pull off area across from the lake access area.

COMMUNITY/AREA DETAILS: 
Located in the Loch Glade Community at Deep Creek Lake.

This home comes with free access to the Community Aquatic Recreation Center (CARC)! This fitness and wellness complex, located in the central Deep Creek Lake area, offers a modern gym and a full-size indoor pool. The free CARC membership is available to all guests in the home for the duration of your stay, up to the home’s full occupancy.

The lodge is beautiful, very roomy for a large group like ours, so comfortable, and the setting is natural & gorgeous. With the hot tub, wrap around porch, pool table & firepit, there were many things at the lodge for family to enjoy together. The lake with boating, jet skis, and swimming was where we spent a lot of time. Also enjoyed golf, the gym and horseback & bike riding. Most restaurants & shops were a bit of a drive but worth the trip. We also did a lot of cooking ourselves in the well-appointed kitchen and on the porch grill. The big dining room table was a favorite gathering spot. The home is thoughtfully designed with lots of spacious rooms and bathrooms, with plenty of hot water as promised. The views are beautiful and the location is very private. The keypad made coming & going easy for all of us. Communications were always responded to and offered many good suggestions on things to see and do. This lodge really is an amazing lovely place!

Beautiful house, private. Around 20 min to stores, etc. When we arrived, the hot tub was in need of balancing (lots of foam), they sent someone out within the hour to take a look. Be aware, while the kitchen has plenty of pots and pans, there are no items such as salt, pepper, coffee filters, or extra trash bags. Overall, house is great. We had a group of seven and never felt crowded.

This lodge in the woods was an amazing place to stay! The lodge is situated in the optimal spot for any vacationer looking for the perfect spot! It is close enough to the lake to enjoy the water, yet tucked into the woods enough to avoid an noise or disturbances... It is just a short distance away from all the lake attractions! This lodge was the absolute best vacation rental we have stayed at yet, here on Deep Creek Lake. My family and I have stayed in many rentals around the lake, and never have we had a rental so clean. The view from the back deck overlooking the little meadow is perfect for seeing wildlife, and the firepit outside tucked in next to the lodge, makes amazing memories! All and all, Bracken Lodge made a great family vacation! Our family will definitely be back for another stay!

Bracken Lodge was fabulous! The home was comfortable for our group of 8 - having so many bathrooms was very convenient. Our family enjoyed the hot tub and we had many meals around the large dining room table. Every morning we were treated to local wildlife - turkeys and deer were in abundance. We rented kayaks and drove them down to the community ramp. The fire pit was nice - we spent a few nights out there having real conversation and making s'mores. The home is very well-stocked with cookware, dishware, cups, glasses and flatware. We made use of the crockpot and electric griddle which are surprising to find in a holiday home. Wifi and streaming tv's worked wonderfully. We enjoyed everything about this home. It helped that the weather was cooperative during our trip - cool and breezy mornings/evenings - and it warmed up (but not too much!) during the day. I recommend this home highly and can imagine it's spectacular in the fall with all of the surrounding trees. Thank you to the owners for making their home available for a relaxing holiday! And thank you Railey's for the ease of booking and availability of staff when we had a question. We were sad to leave and could have easily stayed longer.

Bracken Lodge is an absolutely beautiful vacation home! This was our first trip to Deep Creek and I am already looking forward to the next one. The house is awesome, wonderful decor, spacious and private. It was perfect for our group. The Deep Creek area is a family friendly destination and we were impressed.

I cannot say enough positive things about how lovely this home is. I felt like a little kid waking on Christmas morning when we walked in. It's a beautiful home, tastefully decorated, and very well equipped. The bedrooms and bathrooms are quite large and provide ample space, except the tiny showers. The views from the great room are truly enchanting. Our family had a wonderful experience at Bracken Lodge.

What an amazing home! Beautiful great room with towering stone fireplace and Mountain view as a backdrop. Tastefully decorated and a floor plan that works for large families. The pool table and hot tub were fun and we discovered a great hike through the forest to the lakefront and glade. Home is set in a very private and quiet location. Check in and process was seamless. You won’t be disappointed!
