DESCRIPTION:
Plan your next vacation here with us at Afterglow! Located in the Mountainside Community off of Route 219, Afterglow sits on top of a beautiful mountain providing the perfect amount of seclusion paired with the close proximity to all DCL has to offer. Upon entering the home you are welcomed by a simplistic, modern style with country decor. Begin your morning out back in front of the outdoor fireplace with a fresh cup of coffee and soak in the sunrise. Or take a morning walk with the family around the mountainside community and check out the tennis courts or community pavilion. Gather the family together and head out to explore the many activities Deep Creek has to offer! During the summer months go hiking in nearby state parks, or rent a boat and spend the out on the lake. Don’t forget to check out the many restaurants across the lake as well as mini golf, go karting, or the mountain coaster at the Wisp. No worries, in the winter there is plenty to do as well! Pack up your snow gear and hit the slopes; whether your an avid skier, or snowboarder there are plenty of tracks all ages! After a fun filled day of adventure head back home and relax those muscles in the warm bubbles of the hot tub. Take full advantage of the many board games for a family game night or challenge your friends to a pool tournament on the pool table. End the evening in front of the fireplace on the main level watching movies and sharing the highlights of your vacation. Afterglow awaits you, come book your stay now!

Great house! Really nicely done and very clean. Not the most friendly for toddlers and down, as there were no baby gates, child locks, etc and the stairways are too wide for the baby gate we did bring. But other than that, a great place to rent! Would definitely rent again :)

This home was amazing. When an issue was found it was addressed in a timely fashion. It was extremely peaceful and quiet. The deers were amazing to watch each and every day. The provided kitchen area contents/supplies were amazing. We could tell the homeowner wanted us to feel at home. We loved the stress-free time that this home provided us with that we already booked it again for next year. We can not wait to return.

We had a great time at this house. It was exactly as advertised and came with everything we could need. Something to take note of is that the hot tub is on the smaller side and fits no more than 4 people at a time.

I highly recommend staying here! The house was perfect for our large group and allowed everyone their own space and privacy. The home was exactly like the pictures and clean. The kitchen was fully equipped with all of the appliances, utensils dishes that would be needed to make daily large meals. I appreciate Riley Rentals for their accommodations made to our booking and the extremely good customer service. Their team was incredibly professional and helpful with all of my questions. I cannot wait to return and try out additional rentals they have available.

Afterglow is a fantastic home! The location is perfect, close to everything but with enough space between houses, tucked into the woods, to make it feel like you're really getting away from it all! The layout of the house was perfect for our vacation with another family - we all had plenty of space for everyone! We've rented many homes, and were especially impressed with all the kitchen amenities - high quality pans and appliances, made it even easier to feel right at home! We will be back!

This house was awesome! The house is beautifully furnished, clean, comfortable, and has tons of space to hang out and relax. The location is beautiful and fairly secluded. The covered patio area is amazing and we loved sitting around the outdoor fireplace in the evenings. Communication with RV as a host was frustrating. The booking required full payment up front with no refund period, then I had to fill out additional (extensive) paperwork on the RV site within 24 hours or lose my booking. They later emailed me to say the hot tub was fixed - great news, but I wasn't ever told it was broken, and that was a must-have for our group. I received 10 emails from RV about the stay, 3 of which were ads. Each time RV sent an email, they also sent an Airbnb message that just said "You have a new email", for an additional 7 emails. Instructions for check out were sent via email and not Airbnb. Everyone who came loved the house, but I didn't love the RV experience compared to a normal Airbnb.

Love this house. The aesthetic of the house is to die for. A few items I recommend: bring extra towels, toliet paper, pillows, and blankets. This house is centrally located and was in a great location to get everywhere. We got to see a bear a couple times roaming around too.

Lot of activities to do for small children and adults. Close to beach, zip lining, fun zone, boating, grocery stores, and shopping. Can’t wait to return next year! This home was amazing and so clean! Clean and well stocked kitchen!! Cooked numerous types of meals and never had to worry a utensil or pot was missing. Layout was organized and well thought out for multiple groups to do different things at the same time. Bedrooms had blinds and comfortable beds. Bathrooms were clean. Hot tub was clean and functional. We grilled out and ate on the inviting roof covered deck many evenings. Minutes from the lake with a beautiful Mountain View. Would highly recommend!

My family and I enjoyed ourselves for the four days we were here. The open window concept was beautiful, loved the tint on the windows at night. The house was just as pictured and felt like a home away from home. Very close to some nice restaurants, Wal-Mart wasn't too far away either. I would recommend staying at Afterglow!

Beautiful place in a great location, just minutes from the lake. Place is brand new and feels like a luxury hotel. Very large with lots of space to sprawl out yet very cozy. Owners did a great job decorating the place; the decor was very thoughtfully put together. Had a great time hanging out in the hot tub while the snow was falling. Looking forward to going back soon and staying there in summer.

This home is gorgeous! Every detail was planned to perfection. The spaces are cozy and inviting. Sitting on the back deck or lounging in the hot tub are both so relaxing. The proximity to the restaurants, ice cream shop, lake and the hiking trails is great. I will definitely stay at this gorgeous home again!

This house is absolute perfection. Not a detail was missed when building and decorating this gorgeous home. We enjoyed all of the space, the amazing outdoor fireplace and hot tub, large spacious bedrooms, and the gorgeous main living area. The kitchen had everything we needed, and we also enjoyed the local restaurants in the area. The community is accessible to the lake or the slopes at Wisp. Cant wait to go back!
