Gather around the stunning stone fireplace in the winter for a movie night as the snow falls around you or hang out in the rec room above the garage playing board games or the Xbox One X. In the evenings as things begin to wind down step out to the back porch to take in the mountain air and watch for any wildlife that may wander by. To finish out a busy day on the slopes, at the lake, or to just round out your relaxation day, take a soak in the bubbles of the hot tub. Located in the Deep Creek Highlands community, you will also have the luxury of community tennis courts, playground, hiking trails and more! Lake access and dock are located along Marsh Hill Rd. Please note that docks are only guaranteed Memorial Day through Labor Day.

Access for up to 6 guests at a time at the DC Highlands Community Associations amenities, including use of the community pool, pavilion, restrooms, tennis/pickle-ball court, basketball court, and playground.
Community Outdoor Swimming Pool: Open Memorial Day Weekend - Labor Day, 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. daily.


This home comes with free access to the Community Aquatic Recreation Center (CARC)! This fitness and wellness complex, located in the central Deep Creek Lake area, offers a modern gym and a full-size indoor pool. The free CARC membership is available to all guests in the home for the duration of your stay, up to the home’s full occupancy.

We loved Adventure Awaits! We are definitely coming back and staying for a longer vacation next time. The home was so clean and well stocked. The beds were super comfortable and the master bathroom jetted tub was so luxurious. We loved using the hot tub and I think my husband wanted to take home the electric leather recliner, it was so comfortable!

We booked this home for our annual family vacation and found it to be absolutely perfect for our group of 8 including 3 children. It was super clean, comfortable and included everything we needed plus plenty of space for all. The location was also perfectly situated near lots of great activities including Deep Creek State Park for beach and kayaking and the gorgeous Swallow Falls State Park. It was everything we wanted and more. We definitely plan to be booking this one again!

We had such a wonderful stay at this cabin. The pictures actually don’t do justice to the surrounding area, the views, as well as the soaring ceilings, and just general high-quality of the cabin. The rooms are spread out, giving everyone a lot of privacy and space but also, there are generously sized common rooms for hanging out. It’s also super convenient for skiing or activities at Wisp: you are literally a five minute drive to the resort and 10 minutes to anything else you need. My only complaint was that they did not provide any hand soap, or even sponges to do dishes. Even a few cheap bars of hand soap would have saved us from having to stop at the market for that. The quality of the sheets was also not the best, but the mattresses were super comfortable.

We really enjoyed our stay! The house was beautiful and clean. There was a lot of snow during our stay. The house had proper equipment, including shovels and salt, which we needed. The owner was communicative and the house had everything we needed! We would definitely stay here again.

Adventure Awaits is a great stay. The home was clean, very comfortable, and super cozy. The game room and internal speakers added a nice touch. Tips to make your stay even more enjoyable: Refer to YouTube on how to use the cooktop stove (Website hidden by Airbnb) and have patience with the water pressure. :)

A perfect weekend in Deep Creek. Our house was perfect, beautiful, clean and accurately described. The setting is quiet and serene, with plenty of wild life to watch from the deck. House was great! Super clean, beautifully furnished, wonderful location! It was just as advertised, except for the big house construction going on right next door just a few feet from the living room. That was disruptive, but we tuned it out and made the best of it.
