Fabulous property. We had a great time meeting up with family. The house was beautiful, clean and spacious. The hot tub is fairly new and was extremely clean. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking. This house has it all. I would rebook if I’m ever in the area again.

This house was absolutely stunning! Everything described on the website was exactly as presented. We had a maintenance issue that's immediately resolved during our holiday stay. I would certainly recommend this home for large groups. It was extremely spacious and had everything we needed from kitchen supplies, to games and extra linens. The lake view was stunning. As stated it was an ABSOLUTE DELIGHT!!

This place accommodated our large group perfectly! The house was furnished & well equipped with anything you may need or have forgotten. The location was perfect & within a short distance to restaurants, grocery stores, & gas station. Having our own private dock & lake access was a great added bonus. Would definitely be interested in booking here again!

Great stay - comfy and cool. OUTSIDE: Deck space was gorgeous Back yard setting, fire pit,and access to lake were all great. (It's NOT as steep as pictures on web site seem to appear; yay) Great dock and lake access - couldn't be beat (need to tighten some cleats). Excellent parking !! INSIDE: Clean, spacious, and beautiful bedrooms, baths,and living areas !! Very nice having two fridges and dishwashers! The Bluetooth sound systems were a cool feature (The neighbors connected and blasted us a few times until they figured out it wasn't their system!) It was sweet having so many burner options AND an outdoor grill. We used them all. On 'chili night' I had four pots going simultaneously (chili for 25) while also roasting the tomatoes and chilis on the grill! [But that dangerous stove needs fixed or replaced, please, if not done already.] EVERY issue we called in about was addressed in reasonable times. Great job, Railey and property manager. [Hopefully the outstanding bed issues can be fixed for the next guests ...]

This house was a great location on the lake being located on a relatively quiet, small inlet which made it easy to paddleboard or kayak. It was a good location to get ice cream, go to Honi Honi or Pizzaria Uno. Getting to the lake from the house was a gentle slope and not a far hike or steep steps which is the case with a lot of the houses on the lake. It is conveniently located to two fuel stations for your boat which turns out was necessary in our case as we ran out of gas in the middle of the lake since our gas gauge was not working but that makes for great memories. We had a great time at this house!

We had a perfect weekend getaway thanks to this wonderful house! The property is perfectly located right on the lake and has spectacular views. Our group was impressed by how clean and spacious it was. The hot tub was definitely a huge plus given the snowy weather we got in April! Would highly recommend for large groups.

Annual Ski Trip to Deep Creek

This was our second stay at Absolute Delight (stayed in it 6 years ago). The home comfortably fit all of us with the 8 bedrooms. The layout of bedrooms and bathrooms maximized the use of the bathrooms (either private bath or shared which was great). Deck, patio, fire pit, and grill were used the entire weekend! The ability to connect to the indoor and outdoor speakers added to our atmosphere. Path to lake as well as private covered picnic table next to lake was great (also solar lights within trees). Kitchen was beyond stocked with silverware, dishes, pots/pans, 2 coffee pots, 1 keurig, 2 refrigerators, 2 ovens, and 2 dishwashers. CABLE TV in the main living areas (including kitchen) and bedrooms - seems silly but most homes require you to sign into a streaming service. It's nice to start or end the day relaxing in bed with CABLE (tons of channels too).

Perfect spot for our group of 14- it was a repeat visit and there will be more! Kitchen stocked to perfection including two refrigerators and 3 ovens; hot tub was lovely; wood fireplace in great working order. Railey was very responsive to our calls. Only negative is that the wood provided is very new (not seasoned) so we did have to provide a lot of our own to get the fire going. Not a big deal, there is plenty of wood around to buy, even a wood vending machine- who knew?!

Annual Family Christmas Gathering

Absolute Delight accommodated our group of 19 for overnight stays and our group of 24 for dinner and full day of family gathering time. The kitchen is well-stocked and the location is convenient for grocery, theater, restaurant on a rather busy section of the lake area. The house did provide for easy handicap access with only one small step to be overcome for wheel chair entry. However, the restrooms on the first floor were not as easily accessed with the wheel chair. Furnishings and layout presented some wheel chair challenges, which were all over-come. We enjoyed our two nights in Absolute Delight.

The location was wonderful and access to the lake was so easy! We were able to kayak most of the day. Plenty of seating for 18 people in the dining area and also outside. 2 fridges in the kitchen was great! Cubbies by the front door were so convenient for storing bottle water, pop and household items. We plan on repeating our stay next year.

Great home and great location. The home was an literally an absolute delight! My family enjoyed all the space and the great amenities of the home to include the large dining table that allowed us to eat all together. The home is amazing we will definitely come here again!

This a very beautiful house that sits feet away from the lake. Big enough for a large group but still gives and intimate feel. Would definitely recommend and book this house again!

A number of us stayed here for a long New Year's weekend. The house was located right on the water and close to shops and restaurants. The kitchen was equipped with everything you could possibly need. Highly recommend this for a large family/group.

Family Reunion..... perfect for a group of 22 people both adults and children.....beautiful view of the lake from the home.. very convenient to shopping and restaurants... The owners of this home have put a lot of time and effort to making it a wonderful Deep Creek Experience !!!!

Beautiful location & 2 refrigerators & 2 dishwashers were very appreciated. If that was listed in the house description it would have put our minds at ease prior to arrival. The house was great for the amount of people we had however normal maintenance is needed.

Overall, the home was great! However, we have learned over the years that we really prefer a quieter, more private section of the lake, as well as a pool and community amenities.

Absolute Delight was absolutely delightful. The location on the lake is quiet and the kids could play in the water without a lot of boats going by. The beds upstairs were brand new and super comfortable. The dining room table held 14 people, exactly the number in our party. We enjoyed the fire pit and spent a lot of time on the back deck. We had a great week.

4th year at Absolute Delight

This is our 4th year at Absolute Delight over Dr. Martin Luther King Birthday weekend. The lakefront property is a great location for Deep Creek State Park, movie theatre, grocery store, other state parks, and ski resort. We love staying here, but we may be outgrowing the house. If it only had a sleep sofa on the second floor in the loft game room we would be able to accommodate most of our group in beds. Even though the literature describing the house says that they provide blankets for the beds, they do not. Because we are renting in the winter everyone has to bring their own blanket. Rather inconvenient. The house has a well stocked kitchen, which we really appreciate, since we are cooking meals for 20 people. The driveway is quite steep, so you must have a 4 wheel or all wheel drive vehicle to access or exit the property. Railey Mountain Lake Vacations does an excellent job of keeping the driveway cleared and salted.
