The location and set up of the beds/rooms is amazing but his house is in need of a deep clean.

We appreciate your feedback Catherine and we sincerely apologize for any issues you experience during your stay and the cleanliness of the home. Our housekeeping staff strives to provide the best standard of cleaning, however we are only human and sometimes we do miss our mark. In the future please do not hesitate to call into our office and we will quickly send out a housekeeper to remedy any issue you may have. We will also alert the homeowners to schedule a deep clean after the busy Summer season. Otherwise we are pleased to hear that the location was optimal and that the home was a good fit! A lovely, secluded house for our multigenerational family of 11. Overall, the house could definitely stand some updating. HVAC is very inconsistent from bottom to top floors. Path to the lake/dock was longer than we anticipated and challenging for seniors. Overall, we really enjoyed this home....perfect location, very private, feels like sitting in the treetops from the expansive deck. Comfortable indoor space for everyone. We had a need to call with a question and a concern about a poop-covered dock the first day and it was taken care of within an hour. Thanks! We would consider returning!

The place was nice. Needs some things updated. Wouldn't want in the winter due to the steep driveway. We had an issue the entire time with the TV's. It appeared that the cable was disconnected, but the boxes and remotes all remained. We finally figured everything out with a couple of days left.

We had 8 kayaks. We were able to leave them near the dock and not worry about anyone taking them. We loved the view from the deck. we loved that we could include the dog in this vacation. We enjoyed the fire pit and the hot tub.

Wedded Bliss at Abbott's Bliss

The house is just as advertised. We've rented for years from Railey and this is the most secluded property we've ever had.. literally the end of the road and plenty of trees around. We were 9 adults, two toddlers, and a dog, and we had plenty of space for all of us with even a spare bedroom. We actually held a very small wedding on the property and it was a lovely venue. We had everything we needed, kitchen and grill utensils, sheets, blankets, towels, and firewood for the firepit, which we enjoyed every night. All in all, a wonderful weekend in a great house, in a secluded cove, and we would definitely rent again.

Abbott's Bliss is an amazing house. We loved the fire pit and the large deck. The pool table was good to have although it is very work and the bumpers were bad. We also enjoyed the hot tub but only half the jets were working. Maintanice came to look at it but left without telling us anything and did not fix it. It was a walk to the pier.

We apologize for the lack of communication, typically the hot tub technicians try to get in and out as quickly and quietly as possible so as not to disturb our guest's vacation time. We'll certainly take a look at the pool table condition as well to see what repairs may need made. Due to the home not being what was advertised, I was not satisfied. I have been coming to Deep Creek every year for the past four years and this is the first time that the home was not exactly what was advertised.

We had the opportunity to stay at Abbot’s Bliss for a weekend in June during the Gran Fondo bike ride. The house was great for a group. The bedrooms were a good size with a suite above the garage. The kids enjoyed the hot tub and pool table. The kitchen was great for cooking meals for our group with plenty of seating. We needed a service call to correct the air conditioning, as it was hot this weekend. The technician came quickly and resolved the problem while we were at dinner.
