On the rainy summer days or snowy winter ones, gather in the living room around the fireplace for a movie marathon or head downstairs to challenge each other on the foosball table or play some board games. Sunny summer days can be spent down at the community lake access perfect for swimming, fishing, and launching kayaks. Finish out your day with some s’mores and stories around the fire pit and then enjoy a soak in the jetted tub in the main level suite before drifting off to bed to dream of the exciting days ahead! This home’s lake access is a flat area and a path, on the left of Traci Lane between Bracken Dr and Orchard Dr, that leads down to the lake where you can paddle board, kayak, and launch other non-motorized vessels into the lake. Motorized vessels (boats, jet skis, etc.) are not permitted at this location. No Dock Slip.

Overall nice and roomy…

Our only complaint about this property was that the fridge was not keeping things cold and it was not at all overfilled. We had to use ice, coolers, and the mini fridge in the basement. We called the day of check in and they sent someone out around 10 pm who said the fridge was not working but would have to report it and look for a replacement from another property or a rental from Aaron’s. We never heard from them again about the fridge for our entire stay. The fridge ice machine and water machine have also been removed. A sign on the fridge said that the ice machine wasn’t working but there was a freestanding counter ice machine that we used.The gas grills propane tank has a loud gas leak which made us nervous and the grill igniter is broken.The property is very nice and clean. You will see deer frequently in the yard. The fire pit was also nice.

We had a wonderful time with our boys, their wives and our grandchildren. Plenty of family time. The house was a nice place for us to gather and we enjoyed the seclusion.

This is a very nice cabin in the woods. Roomy and comfortable and all the amenities (hot tub, deck, gas grill, fire pit, etc. Lots of wild life (deer and turkeys). Photos and description are accurate. Would be happy to rent again.

Was the perfect spot to return to after a long day out. Loved the quiet setting, our first time in Sky valley area and we've been coming to DCL 20+ yrs. Saw deer in the yard daily. Hot tub was awesome. Use of garage was nice as well. Made for a great week with just 2 of us, no kids (grown), grandson or friends this year.

We were looking for a quiet country escape and this did not disappoint! Everything was absolutely perfect. The house was very clean and everything ran smoothly. The kids had a blast in the hot tub. I really enjoyed just relaxing on the porch, especially with an early morning coffee. Thank you for your great service and providing us with a great and relaxing vacation! highly recommend!!

Nice cozy stay. Excellent remote / private location. Surrounded by woods. Hot tub is large and fantastic! We did not cook in the kitchen but reheated items and having both the coffee maker and a Keurig for tea was great. Nothing was missing that we might expect. Water pressure for showers was much less than desireable, but minimally adequate.
