DESCRIPTION:
Cozy up at this charming modernized cottage tucked along the wooded hillside. With an open layout, stone fireplace, and plush furnishings, Pop-a-Top Inn is the place to return to after a busy day around the area. Located just minutes from multiple State Parks, fantastic restaurants, and the four season Wisp Resort, you’ll never run out of things to keep you entertained. Enjoy your morning coffee on the front or back deck, catch up on some reading on the upper level balcony, or curl up in front of the fireplace in the living room. Enjoy some swimming, fishing, or kayaking at the lake access point less than a quarter mile away or head out to see what all the area has to offer. Let the friendly competition play out over a round of mini golf or a couple laps around the go-kart track, or head to Honi Honi to sunbathe on their large lakeside yard while enjoying each others company. As the day winds down, make sure to stop a Creamery for a delicious treat before returning to the home! As the sun starts to set, gather in front of the glow and warmth of the campfire for hot dogs, s’mores and stories before drifting off to sleep in the plush and cozy beds. In the winter, hit the slopes for skiing and snowboarding or the state parks for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. Tucked in the trees you’ll be immersed in the winter wonderland that is the snowy Deep Creek area! When you are finished with your cold and snowy adventures, allow the hot tub to soothe any aches and pains acquired throughout the day. From sunny summer days, to cozy winter nights, and every moment in between, Pop-a-Top is the place to be!

Charming house and property that backed to the mountains. Met our needs. Kitchen well stocked. Had a visit from a friendly bear passing through. Only complaint was the occasional smell of the water treatment or sewer substation. Could not smell it from inside.

There is a sewage pumping station very close to the home and the smell is unavoidable, constant, and horrible.

Had a great stay at the house! Well appointed, nice kitchen, comfy couches, great hot tub! Had a nice fire at the fire pit. Only downsides were getting into the driveway with the ice patch and the need for more carpet runners near the doors from the outside. We felt like we were bringing in a lot of wet dirt when we came in the back from the tub and in the front with all the snow. Other than that, overall a great weekend!

The house was cute- there was a smell that wasn’t great and something that was living in the attic. We’d hear it at night and sounded bigger than just a few mice. The hot tub was really nice!

Hosts were amazingly responsive! The house was beautifully set up and clean. Although there was a neighboring home closer than we expected, it was private enough for us to enjoy. We loved the house decor and the peacefulness of it all. Home was not far from shopping and restaurants, which was nice. Would definitely stay again!

Loved, loved, loved this super cute cabin!! It’s the perfect size for a family or couples getaway! Home is extremely clean and decorated really cute. We loved the fire pit area with the Adirondack chairs for everyone. The kids really enjoyed the hot-tub and kids room too. We came right around the time the leave were changing and it was breathtaking! Check out this updated cute cabin, I promise you won’t be disappointed!! Can’t wait to go back

We really enjoyed our stay in Deep Creek. Pop-A-Top is a cute, rustic, cozy little home that was plenty big enough for me, my husband and 3 adult children. The home itself is very well kept as is the grounds surrounding the home. The kitchen is very well equipped with pretty much whatever you would need to whip up a meal any time during the day. The hot tub is an awesome addition which we enjoyed every night of our stay! Overall, we were happy with our experience, thank you!
