DESCRIPTION:
Whether you are looking hang out by the water, on the deck, in the hot tub, or on the couch, Koi at the Lake. Koi at the Lake offers plenty of charm and character and plenty amenities for everyone. With cool tones and modern features, this home is prefect for friends and families alike. Gather on the large sectional in the living room in front of the fire with a great bowl of popcorn and your favorite movie on the TV or challenge your friends to a game of foosball or pool. Enjoy the fresh mountain air while sitting on the deck or take a walk over the bridge and down the path to the lake and dip your toes in the water or launch a kayak or paddle board from the shore. Travel down Lake Shore Drive to the heart of Deep Creek Lake and experience fantastic food, great local shops, and plenty of fun-packed activities like mini gold and go-karts or hiking at the State Park. Come back home and relax around the fire pit for s’mores and good times before cozying up in bed. Looking to visiting in the winter? Enjoy ice fishing on the lake or skiing and snowboarding over at Wisp. At the end of the day on the slopes, a soak in the hot tub will relieve any soreness or stresses. This home comes with free access to the Community Aquatic Recreation Center (CARC)! This fitness and wellness complex, located in the central Deep Creek Lake area, offers a modern gym and a full-size indoor pool. The free CARC membership is available to all guests in the home for the duration of your stay, up to the home’s full occupancy.

Best hidden gem in the area!

First, the hosts are one of the best people! Very communicative, attentive, caring and friendly people we’ve met! Super Host should be their names. Some of the best few days, being away from the everyday, grind to get away, relax and put your mind at ease. The home itself is absolutely amazing, with a hidden driveway, away from busy streets and noise, over 1 acre of property, surrounded by woods and trees, and a super relaxing sound of the stream running through the property. At the bottom of the property is the lake with surreal views. Just all of it is unbelievably beautiful! All the stores, restaurants, shopping and the resort are within minutes. The perfect getaway for your family or friends. Thank you so much for sharing your gorgeous home and letting us experience a true getaway.

This place was spacious and clean. Our family had a great time hanging out by the firepit and exploring the backyard and the lake . The hot tub was perfect. We even saw bears beyond the creek. It was a much needed vacay from the city. Will definitely come back.

Great place and plenty of room for 3 families

I book this place with two other families. So that's a total of 6 adults and 5 children from 14~10. I felt that we had plenty of room. Each of the adults had their own room and the kids can stay in one of the two room with bunkbeds. The kids wanted to stay together like a giant slumber party and they made it work easily.The property is well-remodeled and very clean. I enjoy the huge backyard and the back porch. The kids can walk to the lake and paddle boat, and you can kid of see them. There's a firepit in the front, but I didn't get to use it because of rain. We just used the fireplace, and it was very cozy. I love a good fire, if you know what I mean.Lastly, the location is fairly close to everything. We can get to one of the few restaurants nearby, boat rental and ice cream place is pretty close, and even to Wisp. Even Walmart, which is just a quick drive down. I am very happy with my stay.

As mentioned in other reviews, floors are uneven to the point no one with a walker should choose this house. It’s truly a hazard. Great location by the creek and only a few steps from views of the lake (you can’t see the lake from the house). Well stocked kitchen. TVs everywhere!

We had a great time spending a late summer week at this house. The location is very close to everything around the lake, and the property is beautiful - we especially loved reading and spending happy hour on the back porch. The whole back of the house (including side deck with picnic tables and hot tub location) is really serene and peaceful, and you can hear the babble of the little stream when you are outside. The house itself was recently renovated, so it was nice to have new bathroom fixtures and appliances. The only drawback to the house is that the main level floors are in rough shape - they are uneven and coming apart in several places, which was a hazard for the older people and young children in our group. Otherwise, we loved our stay at Koi at the Lake.

Perfect for Large Family

We spent the week before Christmas here with 10 family members. The house and grounds were picture perfect and the outdoor scenery was like a Hallmark movie, especially since it was snowing. A few downsides include: -the kitchen is rather small for the amount of people the house can accommodate. -the upstairs bed that I slept on didn't have a box spring, so needless to say it was quite uncomfortable. I don't know if the other beds had one or not. -the front door lacked the security that made me feel secure. There are 2 bedrooms right at the entrance with a front door that is easy to break into. The owners put a lot of love into the house - tv's in all rooms, nice comfy couch, large eating area, large fridge, pool table, kitchen appliances and utensils.

Beautiful lake house for R&R

We spend a long weekend in this beautiful house for much needed relaxation. The house is newly renovated with new furniture and appliances which we really loved! 2 bunk rooms are great for kids to do their own things. Lake is only a few steps away for canoeing and paddle boarding. Boating rental, horseback riding, and grocery stores are short drive away. There are so much to do here in deep creek. And at end of the day nothing beats zipping sole wine and soaking in outdoor hot tub. This place has everything you need for a fun and relax vacation. We can’t wait to go back already!
