Gather your family or gather your friends for the perfect getaway no matter the season and no matter the weather! Knotty Pine Chalet is your new home away from home. Feel a sense of warmth as soon as you enter the home (and that’s not just from the stunning stone fireplace on the main level!). From gorgeous hardwood floors and wooden walls to plush furnishings and thoughtful decor throughout, this mountain chalet will wrap you in comfort and relaxation all round. Hang out in the media/entertainment space on the main level, battle it out in ping pong on the lower level or gather in the state of the art 7-person hot tub outside! Fixed with Bluetooth controlled surround sound speakers all around the home (inside and out!) the party never has to stop. Go from the wrap deck to the kitchen without missing a second of your favorite songs! On those perfect winter days, enjoy the short drive to the Wisp Resort for skiing and snowboarding and in the summer, gather at the community pavilion for a picnic before enjoying a hike on the community trails. Looking for more still? The lake, fantastic restaurants, and lakeside adventures await less than a 5-minute drive down the mountain. The quiet roads of the DC Highland Community are perfect for an evening stroll in the summer or a brisk morning walk in the fall or winter. Great size home. Perfect for large family gatherings. Loved that the hot tub was private. Beds were extremely comfortable. Loved all the amenities and how close we were to many activities. Would rent again!

The house was really nice! If you’re looking for a quiet retreat and want to see a lot of wildlife this is your spot! There is plenty of room for families to spread out with it having 3 family rooms! The kitchen is well equipped and there are a ton of games and little extras for entertaining!

Home is lovely and very clean! Homeowner has paid great attention to stocking the kitchen with all the tools and equipment you would every want for a vacation stay. Fully met my family's expectations which are pretty high!
