DESCRIPTION:
Get ready to gather in comfort at this beautiful lakefront home! Finn McCool’s has a prime location along Lake Shore Dr., so you are never far from the action, no matter the season. In the summer, hop on the water and get ready to explore the area by boat or enjoy days spent on land by traveling just 10 mins to the heart of the lake area. Spend your afternoons relaxing and fishing on the west-facing dock, soaking in the afternoon and evening sun and enjoying the deep water perfect for swimming. Prefer to wade instead of swim? The shallow shoreline is perfect for the little kiddos. Make sure to also be on the lookout for various roaming wildlife including two eagles nesting in nearby trees. Enjoy s’mores and stories around the campfire tucked in the private, wooded backyard perfect for extra privacy from the few neighbors in the area. On those, oh so perfect summer evenings, relax on the expansive deck or play a game of corn hole. In the winter, pack up and head to Wisp for a day on the slopes or the state parks for cross country skiing or snowshoeing. The level driveway is perfect to ensure that the snow won’t hold you back from getting to the slopes whenever you want! Wind the day out in the bubbles of the hot tub and let the warm water soothe your sore muscles. This home comes with free access to the Community Aquatic Recreation Center (CARC)! This fitness and wellness complex, located in the central Deep Creek Lake area, offers a modern gym and a full-size indoor pool. The free CARC membership is available to all guests in the home for the duration of your stay, up to the home’s full occupancy

relaxing stay

Had another wonderful stay at my favorite place on the lake. Very quiet with wonderful views, but close to everything. While watching the birds at the bird feeder, I saw an eagle land in the big pine tree by the shore, could not tell if it was Finn or Molly! And that evening while enjoying a cold beverage in the hot tub, I watched as 2 deer wandered around by the fire pit. Will be back.

Everything described and more! Easily accommodated entire extended family. Tons of parking. Close to everything we needed. Very well stocked kitchen. Three full bathrooms. Private full bedroom in lower level with it's own outside access. Path to water easy walk with lights at night. Forest across the street. So peaceful and quiet day or night. Very large deck with ample seating to eat outside. Beautiful views from every back window and door!

Great for Large Groups, Especially Families!

We loved this property. It was exactly as advertised. There was plenty of room for the 8 of us. The kitchen was well appointed and the adults enjoyed the hot tub. Lake access was wonderful and we appreciated our four legged friends were welcome. The best part was the separate seating area/living room away from the bedrooms - kids in the morning didn’t disturb sleeping parents! The basement was pretty cold, but the space heater and door kept closed helped. Our only complaint was the check in and check out time. I understand that a large house requires more cleaning, but we did feel a bit jipped checking in at 4:00pm and then having to leave at 10:00am.

Wonderful family get together. Very nice having a separate great room and living room. Kitchen had everything you might need. Even got to see a pair of bald eagles land in a tree by the water in front of the house!
