Great stay in this home. Everything was "as advertised". Big bonuses were the lake views from 3 levels, very clean hot tub (again, w/ lake views), and well-appointed kitchen. Pet-friendly, but no trace of pet odors or anything else -- kudos to that! Very happy w/ the Railey process as well...this was a win.

The screen doors on the balconies came off immediately upon opening. The glass shower doors in the Master bedroom w/balcony were dangerous. They flew open from the inside just by slight touch.

Stayed for 5 nights, winter 22/23. Proximity to Wisp and the McHenry stores is hard to beat. The space itself is nicely laid out and well-maintained. We particularly enjoyed the hot tub. Would recommend and definitely will consider renting again the next time we're in the area.

Fun trip

It was a great little trip. The house was very cozy and we had plenty of space to enjoy. We loved the hot tub and the fireplace. Also loved that it was pet friendly - the dogs were very comfortable and had a great time. A couple of things to improve: 1. The refrigerator was very loud through the entire trip. It was very annoying. 2. The carpets were pretty dirty and need to be cleaned. 3. There should definitely be more toilet paper in the unit - very lame that we had to bring our own. Same as dish soap and paper towels. 4. The hot tub needs better/more instructions on how to use it, how to turn off the jets, etc.

This home is very convenient to Wisp and lake activities. There was plenty of room to spread out and it had all the dishes and appliances we needed. The hot tub was nice to have at the end of the day. The furnishings are getting older and the mattresses are not very comfortable, particularly on the pull out couch. Even though the home backs to the lake, the trees completely block the view. There’s no yard space or place to sit down near the water. The community in general needs some maintenance but it looks like they are working on it. We’d stay again but would definitely bring our own pillows and not count on it sleeping more than 6.

For a pet property it was great, the neighbors were all friendly, the area was pet friendly, my dogs loved it and were comfortable, my kids loved the hot tub and the proximity of the lake. We weren’t to far from the store and activities. The blue ray didn’t work which if it did I could’ve cast Netflix, the carpet was dirty, and the hockey table counter was broken, but overall it was a good property for the price.

Great Place to Stay Close to Wisp

We had a great stay. The property was as depicted. House is right across the street from Wisp although I would recommend driving. It would be a long walk in ski gear. Kitchen was well stocked for basic cooking and we enjoyed the hot tub. Inside of the house was clean although there were some bottles and cans left around the hot tub. Beds were comfortable and gas fireplaces worked great at warming us.

Incredible location for skiing, esp in COVID times - came back to eat lunch every day. Unit was clean and highly functional, kitchen has everything you need. Hot tub was great. Board games and movies galore. Air hockey tournaments up the wazoo. Lots of fun to be had here, especially with a young family. We hope to come back and check it out during the summer time, too! Great experience, we made some great family memories here.

The house was extremely clean and well maintained. The bed was comfortable. The unit was very private. You really can't see the lake very well due to trees. We hope to return when the leaves are changing. We felt like we were in a tree house. This is a dog friendly house but you really wouldn't know it. We will definitely visit again.

snow removal

The only issue we had was the walkway to the townhouse had 6 inches of snow we had to shovel including stairs. It would have been nice if it had been cleared for us. There was a shovel in the home we used.

Was very clean and organized enjoyed the view from the balcony. It is great that they already have games, air hockey table, and movies there to do in case it rains. What we enjoyed the most was that they allowed dogs We have a very small Chihuahua that also loves that he was able to be with his family and not a random dog sitter for the week.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at Deep Creek Village #37. The home was decorated beautifully and had a light and airy feeling upon walking in. We have two boys ages 7 and 10 who loved the air hockey table as well as the many games to chose from. The location was amazing too!! It was very close to everything. We would definitely stay here again.
