After a long day of skiing, swimming, and merriment in DCL, come home and relax on the dual-level deck with breathtaking views of the lush rolling hills of McHenry, or hang out around the TV in the den playing board games with friends and family, including the family pups! Located just off Garrett Highway, this home is a 3-minute drive from Wisp Resort and the lake, and equally as close to top attractions on 219, including mini golf, a high ropes course, arcades, axe throwing, and plenty of top restaurants and shops.  No matter how you spend your stay here, adventures await you at Cedar Creek 6!

I would highly recommend renting this home, especially if you have a dog. It is pet friendly, nicely decorated and furnished but still comfortable. Beautiful views, close to lake and skiing.

lovely townhouse-- beautifully decorated but without feeling like you couldn't get comfy or bring small kids and/or a dog-- which we did! wonderful location-- close to everything in mchenry-- right off of 219 so you can zip down anywhere and be there within 15 minutes-- ie, swallow falls, deep creek state park or oakland. very close to wisp if you're a skier. no lake access if that's something that's important to you. home had everything you needed-- sheets, towels, kitchen supplies. railey group made sure it was spotless and everything was ready for us! we'll definitely be back. Great location for fall and winter vacations as it is so close to wisp but has no lake access. It is right off 219 so makes getting anywhere very easy in 15 minutes you could be at the parks or Oakland. The home was beautiful and clean and comfortable... and we had 2 kids and a dog... and we still felt at home. We will definitely be back here!

Part of me is selfishly wondering if I should be transparent about how great this house and stay was because it'll be harder to book next time - but what a truly amazing experience! We saw a black bear, at a safe distance, from the deck climbing a tree which was an amazing experience. The house is easy to find at the end of the drive to the left with easy front of house parking. When you walk in, you will not be disappointed with the BEAUTIFULLY furnished house, very sizable and can accomodate families or groups in the many rooms (and bathrooms) plus pull out couch in the basement. You'll have access to two walk out decks on the main and upper level, and a walk out patio in the basement which are secured by locks and wooden security stoppers for added comfort (although it was an extremely safe area). Food? You're in 1 minute walking distance from Canoe on the Run which has great coffee and quick eats that you can take on the road or sit outside and enjoy (they also have an indoor seating area but was closed at the time due to COVID). There are also great restaurants such as Unos within 8 minutes, Lakeside Creamery 7 minutes, and tons of others under 10 minutes away. Same goes for grocery and gas, just a quick 5 minute trip to the closest but many alternate options to choose from as well. Going to the lake or want to check out the parks? You're within 15 minutes max from either. I would 110% book again and have already recommended it to friends and family who are planning their trips! Thank you Cedar Creek #6 for the amazing stay!
