Looking for a house with a “deck” of a view? This townhouse is all about easygoing comfort with a touch of lakeside charm. The space is welcoming and well-equipped, making it simple to settle in and enjoy your time—whether you’re cooking a favorite meal, lounging with friends and family, or heading out to explore the lake. Its location in the Trader’s Landing community puts you in walking distance to local dining, coffee shops, and lake activities. With its blend of comfort, convenience, and scenic surroundings, this property creates the ideal setting for unwinding, connecting, and savoring the Deep Creek Lake lifestyle.


ACCESS DETAILS:
Lake access is only available  through purchase of a day-use dock from High Mountain Sports, if available. Please note that docks are only guaranteed from Memorial Day through Labor Day.

This home comes with free access to the Community Aquatic Recreation Center (CARC)! This fitness and wellness complex, located in the central Deep Creek Lake area, offers a modern gym and a full-size indoor pool. The free CARC membership is available to all guests in the home for the duration of your stay, up to the home’s full occupancy.

It was our first time vacationing at Deep Creek MD and we chose the perfect place to stay! A Deck of a View was pristinely clean, cozy and it has such a homey feel! It was in the perfect location with many activities located close by, local restaurants, coffee shops and beautiful views! The 3 bedrooms were spacious and fit our family of 7 adults and 2 toddlers perfectly with comfy beds, plenty of cozy blankets and extra pillows if needed. It may sound silly, but we truly appreciated that there were plenty of hangers in the closets as well as decorative but useful hooks on the walls in entry way and in the bedrooms and living room area. We appreciated to open floor plan of the living room/dining room/kitchen, it was so easy to be together when cooking, eating, playing games etc. The furniture was very comfortable with recliners on all pieces that made relaxing in the evening very easy with our large group. Even when we had moments that we needed stay in due to weather etc., there was still plenty for our family to do with provided board games, an awesome skeech ball table, fantastic cable selection(plus all TVs were smart TVs and were in every bedroom as well as living room) and the most well equipped kitchen I have seen at a rental. There was plenty of seating for our meals at the spacious dinner table and we cooked many times on the grill! There was never a shortage of dishes, utensils or various other kitchen items. We enjoyed the amazing brand new hot tub every night and the deck was always in use! We appreciated the full size washer and dryer and laundry area as well. The welcome bag with the personalized gifts was such a nice touch and we absolutely appreciated as well as took advantage of the local activities and restaurant suggestions! We are already planning our return trip in the fall for a long weekend and we are looking forward to seeing the beautiful views! Our family all agreed that this was probably our favorite family vacation! We will definitely be back! Excellent Rental space!

We had a wonderful stay and would absolutely consider returning if we're back in the area.The house was very clean, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully set up for guests. The kitchen was one of the best-stocked vacation rental kitchens we'e experienced, which made preparing meals for our group so easy. We especially appreciated the spacious layout and open-concept main floor. With six adults and three young children, it was perfect for everyone to spend time together, whether playing games, relaxing, or enjoying the deck and its beautiful views.The location was fantastic for our family. It was incredibly convenient to fishing spots and activities we enjoy doing with the kids, and we loved being able to walk to the pizza place and easily access the docks across the street. Everything we wanted to do was nearby, typically just a 15 minute drive away, which made exploring the area simple and stress-free.The home had plenty of space for our group, and having four bathrooms was a huge plus. The new hot tub was a great addition, and we really appreciated the thoughtful welcome package with small keepsakes that made our family vacation feel even more special.We also appreciated the information provided throughout the home. The owners had brochures and local recommendations displayed on a corkboard, along with a helpful booklet highlighting nearby attractions, activities, and house guidelines. It was a nice touch that made it easy to discover things to do in the area and helped us settle in quickly.The only minor consideration for future guests is the parking setup. There are two parallel parking spaces along a fence, which worked fine for us, but it could feel a bit tight if other guests or residents are parked nearby, particularly when loading and unloading luggage. Since the spaces don't allow for an easy turnaround, you either need to back out from the entrance or continue down the road to make a three-point turn before heading out. It was definitely manageable, but something to keep in mind for larger groups or those traveling with multiple vehicles.Overall, this was a very positive experience. The home was comfortable, well-equipped, family-friendly, and in a great location. We' d happily stay here again and would recommend it to other families looking for a convenient and relaxing place to enjoy the Deep Creek Lake area.

A Deck of a View was a very lovely, spacious, very updated home. Great views and great location to so many things in the area. We really enjoyed our time there. Definitely will book again! This was our 3rd time visiting Deep Creek Lake and using Railey Vacations, we really like them as well.

Very nice home, definitely would book it again. It was very cozy. Do recommend they leave directions for the gas fireplace tho. Thanks to Railey y oh checked it out and marked which switch to use, very helpful. Labeling light switches would be very helpful.
