We had the best time in Deep Creek. The house was beautiful, cozy and very comfortable. It has everything you'll want and not enough time to enjoy it all. We LOVED hanging out in the main level with the fireplace. The kitchen is very well appointed- we had brought some specialty items, since the description said it only had basics, well it had everything we needed- no shortage of pots pans and trays. We enjoyed that so much that we didn't even use the firepit or the hot tub. Check-in & out was very simple and the management company was pretty responsive and easy to deal with.

Overall nice, quiet neighborhood 0.5 miles to lake (rate at 4.5). Furniture, porch, and first floor were all lovely. Definitely need shades for 2nd floor windows or eyemasks to block sunlight in morning.

The house was lovely and enough space for my family of 8 to be comfortable. The large table made it so that everyone could dine together comfortably. Unfortunately the jetted tub upstairs was not functioning at all ( not even as a tub) during our stay. This was important to us since I had 2 family members with back issues who were planning on using it. The porch and outdoor furniture easily accommodated all of us. The landscaping provided privacy and wildlife viewing. The upstairs bedroom has a skylight that lets in a lot of light, so a sleep mask is a necessity. After playing musical beds we all figured out which rooms were best for each of us. The house layout is open, so sound definitely travels. This was our first family trip with kids and their spouses and it was a great house for the new family vacation norm.

We returned for a 3rd and sadly final year. We enjoyed kayaking, and SUPing on the lake, hiking at Swallow Falls and mountain biking. At home we assembled 4 puzzles (3 of which we left behind for future guests to enjoy), played endless games of cards, including Euchre, Kings in the Corner and Old HECK. We enjoyed spotting the local wildlife: ducks, geese, deer, and the groundhog family that seems to live beneath the bottom of the deck. We enjoyed preparing meals in the well-equipped kitchen and even cooked over the fire one night. The hot tub was relaxing.
