DESCRIPTION:
The Hygge Chalet is a luxurious mountaintop retreat in the serene Greenbrier Community at Deep Creek Lake, offering a perfect blend of comfort and modern amenities. This spacious home features a fully equipped kitchen, a cozy living room with a wood-burning fireplace, an elegant dining area, and a sun-filled sitting room. The lower level boasts a den with a wet bar and game area, perfect for entertaining in the evenings or on rainy days. Ideally located, The Hygge Chalet is close to all types of adventure regardless of the season. The home is less than a mile the Lodestone Golf Course and a short drive to the state park’s sandy beach for a fun day on the water. The winter season is just as fun with the Wisp Resort with skiing, snowboarding, and tubing being a short drive away. About five minutes will take you to the top of the mountain and less than ten will take you to the base of the mountain for days of snow-filled fun! At the end of a busy day, return to the home to relax in the bubbles of the hot tub, soak in the peaceful mountain surroundings from the large deck, or gather around the fire pit for a relaxing evening under the stars while enjoying toasted marshmallows and good company. Beautiful house with lots of sleeping options for our group ski trip! We did unfortunately have some jewelry and clothing dyed/ruined from the chemicals in the hot tub. It was also very snowy and the roads in the neighborhood were not plowed at all so just make sure you bring snow appropriate cars in the winter. Also bring trash bags, paper towels, toilet paper, dish soap, hand soap, and salt/pepper/seasonings for cooking. They did have pots, pans, pressure cooker, blender, board games, and ping pong/pool so lots of things to do in the house, and it was very well kept and clean. We had a great stay!

Cabin was beautiful. Plenty of room that you weren't on top of one another. Loved the furniture it was spacious. Plenty of room for all it says it can accommodate for as there was only six of us, which made it very roomy.

I loved the location of this home. It was very comfortable for the number of people we had staying. I like the separate living spaces on each floor, so there was a space for everyone to find the quiet. The three different decks were a plus, one large with plenty of chairs and the one covered were the favorites. The pool table needs some help, but the ping pong table topper was the real hit and there were plenty of games and puzzles to pick from as well.
