Overall we loved Morning Glory. We were disappointed in the view of the lake because of the big house blocking it which is not in the pictures on the website, however, we still had a great time. The house was stocked well with kitchen amenities and appliances. We had a slight issue with our oven not heating on our last day but maintenance came out promptly and when they couldn't fix it at that time they brought us a toaster oven to get through the remainder of our trip which was a nice touch. We had enough space for our group of 10 and loved the hot tub and fire pit.

We apologize for the issues concerning the oven but we are glad to hear that we were able to quickly bring out a replacement for the time being and we will be sure to have our maintenance department repair the oven for future stays. Overall we had a good trip and the space met our family's needs for a short stay. However, we really looked forward to using the hot tub but couldn't because it had a sign that said it was unsafe to use and it was very dirty. the oven also took an hour to preheat, which negatively impacted our mealtimes especially with three little ones. The deck and yard were both nice when the weather cooperated!

Very satisfied with this home and property. Well stocked kitchen with cookware, utensils, flatware, dishes, etc. Stove and frig were modern (ice maker in frig didn’t work well—needed to always have bagged ice on hand). Bathrooms were up-to-date and clean. Furnishings very attractive and good quality. Loved the stone fire pit with huge boulders for seating. And plenty of yard space for outside yard games. Pool table and food ball table were a bonus. We had 10 at this home plus 2 golden retriever dogs and were very comfortable. Each family had their own space on the 3 levels—was perfect for privacy within the house. Would highly recommend Morning Glory as a vacation getaway!

Beautiful home needing TLC

Pros: Spacious and offers lots of room to spread out. We especially enjoyed the big dining table that we could all fit around. The views from the house are beautiful! Cons: The dishes, pots/pans, utensils, etc. were very dirty and completely disorganized. We had to clean every item before using it. Some of the dishes and cups were cracked and broken. There were also cobwebs in the windows and the shower liners were filthy. The beds were worn-in and uncomfortable, particularly the twin beds upstairs and the queen bed in the basement. The "trundle" was non-existent so one of my family members had to sleep on the couch. I will say that I received two texts during my stay from what seemed to be the housekeeping staff regarding the cleanliness of the home and asking if I needed anything. But unless I was going to have them come organize the dishes/utensils and clean them (which would have been silly), there wasn't anything we considered significant enough to have them come out for. Tips: If it is snowing, be prepared for the driveway to be unshoveled/plowed. The rental company does contract out to a plow service, but they are only expected to plow there is 4 inches on the streets. There is a shovel at the house for clearing your own paths, and there was a very small amount of salt provided for the walkways (the container they provided was mostly empty). Something to consider for your older guests. My family did have a great time overall, but the house does need some love.

The house was great and easy to get to, even with a little snow on the roads. The hill next to the house was perfect for sledding. The pool (free entry included) was also nice for the kiddos. 10/10 would stay again.

Christmas Vacay

The house and property were perfect. Short drive to Wisp and our grandsons(6 and 4) were able to snowboard/ski in side yard. Railey is the realtor and their customer service is awful. The previous tenants left 15 bags of garbage on porch by front door- I made 4 calls to Railey and nothing was ever done. The bags are still there. This is the second time we have had issues with their customer service and we are now reluctant to rent from them. Unfortunate because we would definitely return to this home next Christmas.

Our maintenance department strives to answer all calls received however we are only human and sometimes do miss our mark and due to the holidays, lack control over the public trash services. Great place to stay for the winter. Warm and cozy. The only note is that the pictures make it look bigger than it really is. That being said, our group was still comfortable.

Lovely getaway place

We visited for a fall family weekend getaway. The home is very pretty with stylish and quality furnishings. It’s in a very nice neighborhood that is good for privacy but also conveniently located so that nothing is too far away. We enjoyed the pool table, fire pit & hot tub and the house was well stocked for meals. The only thing we didn’t love was that the trash had to be taken to a community bin. I’m sure that’s a neighborhood policy (not the owners) but we did not like driving garbage around. Overall we would recommend this place to anyone for a fun, peaceful retreat.

We had a great vacation and the stay wasn’t bad, it was just very expensive for a house that the quality was lacking. We’ve paid half the price and got better quality rentals in the past so this was somewhat of a disappointment. The amenities are fine and accurate, but there appears to be some serious plumbing issues. You can hear water dripping every time you flush a toilet, water staining on the ceilings, basement bathroom smells like sewage. The creaky floors are annoying. Not a major issue but you cannot walk anywhere in the house without everyone hearing it. The fire pit is nice and the deck view is beautiful.

This is a terrific location to vacation. House was clean, beds were comfortable, plenty of games for grandkids including a pool table - foos ball - ping pong, and a fire pit which we enjoyed at night; cooking hot dogs and marshmallows. Wisp, Funland, Walmart, gas stations, restaurants, water falls, and hiking trails were all close to Morning Glory. Great get away location for a break from work.

Beautiful view. Very quiet neighborhood. Loved going for quiet serene walks in the evening. Lots of wildlife and close to the lake. Evening smores using the firepit.

The house had plenty of space for our larger group of adults and kids. The kids loved having the space in the basement to themselves. The house was very clean and was a great location. Would definitely rent here again!

We stayed at Morning Glory Nov.3-6. We have never been to Deep Creek and found it was absolutely beautiful especially this time of year with the leaves changing. The house we very warm and welcoming and beautiful inside. Lots of things to do as well. The view from the backyard is stunning. We will definitely return!!
