ACCESS DETAILS:
The Lake Access is no more than a 1/4 mile walk, along Piney Point Rd. Dock slips are available to rent on a first come first serve basis through the Sky Valley Community Association for an additional fee of $15/day or $100/week. Please note that docks are only guaranteed from Memorial Day through Labor Day.

This was our first trip to Deep Creek and we loved it! The location of the house was perfect and the house itself is so cute and welcoming. My husband and I, son, daughter, daughter in love, grandsons, and pups all had such a great time walking and playing at the beach, the mountain coaster, Shallow Falls, Funland and all the things! Thank you for the use of this beautiful home and hot tub for the memories of a lifetime!

Our Family of 8 came to Deep Creek Lake for vacation from Baltimore, MD. We had a great time relaxing at the cabin. We enjoyed the lake area, especially being right down the street. After the lake, the hot tub was the place to be. We took advantage of the firepit and roasted hot dogs and smores. The trail is through the woods along the lake provided great scenery for our morning walks and was a great place to spot wildlife. We saw many deer and their babies and loads of chipmunks but no bears... We ventured into town and played putt-putt and did go karts at Funland. We visited Lakeside Creamery for delish ice cream and milkshakes. Right next door at the Cabin Lodge Grille the fresh cut fries were perfect for milkshake dipping. We spent alot of time on the deck playing games. We also had lunch at the Black Bear Tavern where the food and service were great. We had an amazing family vacation and we can't wait until next year!

Cabin has all the supplies needed. Deck could use some cleaning, the tables , chairs, campfire chairs. Would be nice if the jacuzzi tub was turned on ahead of time so it will be warm and ready to use when guests arrives. Our pup appreciates the treats, and the safety gates for the stairs and deck was a plus. Close proximity and access to the lake was great. Community was quiet and well maintained. Communication and updates via e- mail was very helpful. Overall my family enjoyed the stay.

Location is lovely, just a few min walk to beach area of lake. Neighborhood is quiet and filled with other cabins. House is definitely smaller than pictures show but it was clean except for sleeper sofa. We were hoping to spend time on the deck outside but the outdoor furniture was rusty and dirty so we passed on that. We were 8 people total, 6 of those are teenagers and I would say the house sleeps only 8, not 10 as listed. I think the house is way overpriced for what you get.

I would rent this property again. The location was great—-the lake/beach is such an easy walk. The kitchen had a surprisingly large amount of cookware for a rental, really everything I needed for family meal prep. The hot tub was clean and ready. Also appreciated the pet items (bowls, large crate, treats). Even though this was a pet friendly property, it did not smell and there was no pet hair to be found. Lots of spare linens and pillows so everyone was comfortable. Child gates large enough to block the deck entrance for pets. I ended up bringing more supplies than we needed—the house pretty much has everything you need! Beds were comfortable. Futon was comfortable. No spiderwebs in evidence! The property is definitely a more worn than the photos reveal. The downstairs bathroom has seen better days and the shower doesn’t work well. Both bathrooms are teeny-tiny! But overall the house was clean and well-appointed and the space is super flexible for a group.

We had a great time in a nice cabin. The kids loved the loft and the hot tub was nice. The only issue was that the fireplace smoked the house out when we tried using it both times (yes we verified the damper was open.) It was quite disappointing because we wanted a cabin with a hot tub and fireplace and couldn’t use one of them.

We came for my husbands Bday weekend with close friends. We enjoyed our stay and the hot tub was nice. No snow but we were able to get in a couple rounds of disc golf and hiking. It's nice, the house was very accommodating for our dog. The fireplace was disappointing as it needs some adjustments to function well. Thanks for the great weekend!

We really enjoyed staying at the house! We visited Wisp for snow tubing on Saturday then ate dinner at Mountain State Brewing. On Sunday we checked out Deep Creek Fun Zone- highly recommend with kids! We loved the hot tub and fireplace for relaxing during the day! So much snow! The kids and dog loved to play in it. This was the perfect spot for a bit of rest and relaxation between the holidays. The weather was too warm for winter activities but perfect for a fire, hot tub, and walks. It was great to be able to bring our dog Rudy. We had everything we needed and enjoyed ourselves!

This was a great pre-fall trip. So many deer and chipmunks. Ate at Firewater and went to the State Park. Our puppy went on his first vacation and had a blast. Thank you for the great memories.

This was our first trip to Deep Creek. The cabin is lovely and well stocked. We especially enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub and by the fire pit. We also had an amazing time kayaking on the lake. Thanks for a lovely stay!

For those who want a cabin experience, but don't want to be too remote this is perfect! Wooded, lake access, with WIFI and tv. (perfect for one who needs to catch up on work or a break from the docks.) The loft area was great for private reading, but to be able to enjoy conversation below. We found the beds to be clean and comfortable, as well as the dining room/living rooms to be large enough for 6 adults. (Not sure if more than 6 people would be comfortable). Loved the hot tub and the community swim area. Peaceful and quiet area.

We rented this house for a long weekend with our family and had a great time. The management was super responsive when we had questions. We loved the location, the hot tub, lake access, the deck space, and the firepit. We would definitely stay at this home again.

Exactly what we were looking for with that "Cabin" feel. Furnishings are appropriate for a winter vacation rental home. Appropriately decorated. VERY Comfortable! Did not use hot tub because the cover was snow covered, but nice amenity to the cabin.
