ACCESS DETAILS:
Lake access is a short drive down to Ridge Road and then Piney Point Drive to the parking lot. While this home does not come with dock access, dock slips are available to rent on a first come first serve basis through the Sky Valley Community Association for an additional fee of $25/day. Please note that this association only rents slips to those who privately own their boats. Rental boats are not allowed. Please note that docks are only guaranteed from Memorial Day through Labor Day. View Map to Lake Access Here.

First of all the layout of the house. All bedrooms had their own toilet and sink. 2 shared bath and shower. Nice deck and fire pit area. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need to cook for a large family. There is a nice outdoor table on the back deck to relax and view the hillside, deer were often seen. Plenty of clean linens. Quiet and peaceful area. Close to the lake. Quick response to any of our needs. There is a Kayak and canoe to use. We will be back.

We had such a great family vacation in this house. We loved the location - surrounded by trees, quiet, enjoyed the fire pit and the outdoor deck. The grandkids took over the hot tub. The house had all of the amenities we needed and was very comfortable. I had no trouble with the hot water. The upstairs room with the games was a nice bonus for the older kids (and me). The house is located a short drive to Deep Creek Lake and the included kayaks. We spent an afternoon at Swallow Falls State Park, another short drive and so beautiful. WISP was another quick drive and everyone enjoyed the Mountain Coaster, chair lifts, and the views. I love this house and definitely plan to return.

Our family had such a fantastic time at this Deep Creek home! The space was clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated, with plenty of room for everyone to relax. The kids especially loved the open layout and the loft game room—it was the perfect spot for friendly competitions and keeping them entertained in the evenings. We enjoyed peaceful mornings on the deck and evenings in the hot tub. The kitchen had everything we needed for family meals, and the location was perfect—close to the lake, activities, and restaurants, but still quiet and private. The hosts were welcoming, responsive, and made sure our stay was easy and stress-free. We can’t wait to come back and make more memories here!

We loved the community that the house is located in. The layout of the house is also very nice. We unfortunately did not have any hot water during our stay there. The first time we called maintenance it was on the emergency line and no one returned our call. The following morning I called and spoke with someone and that afternoon a maintenance representative came to our house and reset the thermostat. This unfortunately did not solve the issue. The following morning, I called maintenance again. No one came to the house. The following morning, a representative from a heating and cooling company came to the house and replace the thermostat. This yet again did not solve the issue. I was also surprised at how many cobwebs and spiderwebs were within the windows in the house. The banister on the deck was also relatively loose, which made me nervous having little ones there.

Our stay at this house was incredible! It's beautifully decorated and has everything we need. It is such a cozy place to be and makes me feel very comfortable. Most of our time we spent at baseball games! But the lake is very beautiful and amazing to go kayaking and boating! I recommend going horseback riding here. The trail is amazing and the people there are very kind and helpful! At the house we had 4 adults and 3 kids. We had the perfect amount of room. The hot tub is nice too! Overall this place is very calming and cozy and I hope you have fun at your stay!

We had a really great stay at this house! The place was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed to feel comfortable right away. It was the perfect home base for a relaxing getaway.We spent a lot of time down by the lake at the community dock; it was peaceful and beautiful, and we enjoyed plenty of swim time to ourselves. We also explored some of the local hiking trails, and really enjoyed gathering around the campfire making s'mores. One of our favorite days was when we drove into Oakland, where we checked out a couple of the museums and the local farmers market. We even stopped to see a nice glass blowing shop on the way back. All in all, this trip was a great mix of nature, local charm, and downtime. We’d definitely come back again!

Our stay at your beautiful rental property was nothing short of wonderful and peaceful. The quiet atmosphere provided the perfect setting for our family to reconnect and relax. We had a fantastic time putting together puzzles as a family and cooking delicious meals. One of the highlights of our trip was a long hike in the woods. The perfect early summer getaway!

We stayed here for a long weekend after picking up my son and his friends from basketball camp at a local university. It exceeded our expectations! The house was perfectly furnished, and the younger kids loved all the games and toys that were in the upstairs bedrooms. Beds were super comfortable, and I really appreciated how well stocked the kitchen was. We drove down to the community lake access almost every day, and were always able to have a floating dock all to ourselves. We also really liked how the swimming area was roped off! After lake swimming, we took a quick dip in the hot tub before setting our chairs up around the firepit. We are already talking about how we want to make this an annual thing! I'd totally recommend this house to any families looking for a relaxed stay in a more secluded environment.

We really liked the house and enjoyed our weekend there. The kitchen was well-stocked, and the kids had a great time in the upstairs rooms watching DVD's and playing foosball. The front porch was a perfect spot to spend a few hours reading. We would definitely stay there again!
