The large amounts of snow we receive here at Deep Creek Lake, make this the perfect place take on cross-country skiing. The area in Garrett County offers many trails throughout state parks and even some guided tours!
The adventure of cross-country skiing is open to the public throughout our seven state parks located in Garrett County. You can either bring your own gear or rent it at one of the parks or local shops. During the heavy winter months, some of these parks even groom their own trails!
